Crown Point Camp is the perfect gorge base camp on the Western edge of the beautiful Columbia River Gorge, Gateway to hiking, biking, kayaking, wind surfing and many other Adventures! Our camp is right off the Columbia River Gorge Scenic Highway just minutes away from Portland Women's Forum and Crown Point, the Jewel of the Columbia. Our facilities include an outdoor shower, a solar-powered composting toilet, fresh water, and plenty of flat ground surrounded by trees for excellent camping! Please read this whole message so that you are not surprised when you get here! Our home and farm is on two acres. Your tent site, are all in our ample acreage. Although pets are welcome, we expect them to be well behaved around our two cats, our own big sweetie of a pup, Frejya, and our free ranging chickens. Our property literally borders the scenic highway. Because we are so close, you can hear the sunset-view-seeking drivers, motorcycle riders, and yes, racers who come out this way for a spin on one of the most scenic highways in the world. Traffic quiets down after dark and mornings are quite 'chill'. If you like what you are reading, please feel free to book with us and take off for your bike journey or hiking adventure from here. Wahclella Falls, Wahkeena Falls, Eagle Creek, and Multnomah Falls are among our favorites. Larch Mt, trails are always great for mushroom hunting or bird watching. Rick and Ellen are your hosts. We love welcoming fellow travelers!

Crown Point Glamp

I loved the yurt! Very clean, soft bed, good pillows, and beautiful area. The outside shower was acceptable. I tried using coffee maker but the power surge protection wouldn't let me which was okay. Very friendly host. I would definitely stay here again.

Crown Point Camp 1

The dog Lily stole my heart and made my whole day. The campground was awesome too but the highlight was having the sweetest black lab as my friend for the stay. Literally sat right by my side all night looking at stars.

10/10 would recommend!

The glamping experience was better than we expected! The site had everything, plus more, that we could have needed. Rick and Ellen were so kind, provided great recommendations, and made the space welcoming and cozy. The location was so close to so many things! 10/10 would recommend staying!

Amazing Property

Rick and Ellen’s property was INCREDIBLE! We loved the glamping tent, hottub, and compostable toilet. Wish we would have had time on our short stay to use the sauna. Beautiful views and super nice hosts. Highly recommend staying here!

We loved staying on Rick’s land. The site is easy to find and well maintained. The best part was the extremely clean porta potty.

We had a great time at Crown Point Glamp! It was such a cozy and comfortable stay. They had everything we needed, and the amenities on the property like the hot tub and sauna were perfect for a relaxing night away!
