RV Site #3 Full Hook up
Perfect spot! Dana is a great host and the dunes are wild! I’ll definitely stay there again.

Not a great experience
Firstly, the host Dana is a very nice Guy. The site left a lot to be desired. It was alongside a garage but the ground was not level. When we backed the trailer in we found we were sharing the space with another trailer. Literally 10 feet apart. The residents of the other trailer had to move many of their belongings to make room for us. The listing said there was WiFi. It did not work. Dana gave me their home WiFi credentials, but we were far enough away that it was unusable. We booked for two nights. Left home after one. If this was my first Hipcamp I would not use the app again. Fortunately, other experience was very positive.

Dunetastic!
Exclusive site to access the Oregon Sand Dunes! Dana is a great host, everything we needed was available. If you catch Joanna and Frank at the property, you need to say hello! Bring your side by sides, 4x4 and cruse the dunes and the beach.

Funky experience for sure! We really did enjoy our stay! Were a little shocked to realize we truly were camping in someone’s front yard and being so close to the dunes made it not the most peaceful place. We stayed a weekend that a large family was staying in the main cabin and they liked to party pretty late and loud. No bother for us, we just bought earplugs and danced in our sleep lol. A really close drive to pacific city which was lovely. Dana has made the experience here pretty awesome with dope little metal fire pits with grates that allowed for some perfectly toasted s’mores and a spot to cook over the fire. An awesome heated outdoor shower and a clean porta potty. A funky experience but not complaining!

Great place to stay!
Dana was great to work with. He's extremely helpful when it comes to local hiking and beach spots. The hookups were easy and the location is secluded, but easy to get to parks and beaches.

#3 Tent Site
Nice host but crowded on holidays
Overall, we had a great time visiting the coast, and the host was very nice. However, I feel the listing could be more transparent about what to expect. During our stay over the holiday weekend, the site was packed with tents, RVs, and ATVs, making it quite crowded. As a former Airbnb host, I can understand the challenges, but I would have chosen to mark this weekend as "unavailable" instead of packing it in.
It was loud at night with lots of merriment that we weren't a part of, which could be a downside for those looking for a quieter getaway. Additionally, there were a lot of wasps around, which made it challenging to cook and prepare for the day as they were constantly swarming.
This spot was affordable, and I think it could offer a different experience on less busy weekends. However, for us, paying a bit more for a better experience would have been worth it.
