    The infamous fur trapper John Day was an OG overlander, survived an Indian attack that left him naked, went mad in his later years, and then managed to get a beautiful Oregon river named in his honor. The little known US Postmaster John Spray performed his duties honorable with little excitement and ended up having a small town named after him. At the convergence of these two men's legacies is the Circle W Ranch, current home to a bovine herd foraging naturally and organically in this beautiful Oregon setting.

    Circle W Ranch Adventure Outpost
    Circle W Ranch was incredible. The views alone from site are worth every penny. From the peaceful river flowing feet from site, to the rocky hillsides that surround the area, it was the perfect escape from busy city life. We felt safe, Bryan was a great host, and as an added bonus, we were able to see some of the ranch animals- always fun for our young daughter. We would definitely visit again.
