A-Frame Site #3 (Mtn. Views)
A+ A-Frame
Beautiful wide open land with views of the mountains -- caught a gorgeous sunrise the next morning (got in at night after a sunset at Crater Lake). Simple, rustic, appreciated the gas fire. Mattress was comfortable and the lighting was perfect to find the A-Frame. Great directions from the host, Jason. Friendly, great coffee recs (go to Thump in Bend! Palate, Spoken Moto, and Strictly Organic were other faves), knowledgable. Note that there is just the Japanese style mattress and no other bedding -- I had my sleeping bag, an extra fleece blanket, and pillow in my SUV for camping and wore layers to sleep as there is not heat and it got into the lower 20s/high teens overnight. It was refreshing!

A wholesome Stay at the Farm!
Jason and Diana have set up a charming spot for Hipcampers to stay on their farm. They were very kind and accommodating hosts and I had a wonderful camping experience! The sunrise and sunset views of the mountains were absolutely beautiful on the wide open field! I loved getting to see all of the sweet animals they had from adorable goats, to cows and as well as their pups! It's a peaceful spot just 20 mins outside of Bend for a nice little getaway. I would recommend staying here whether it's in solitude or with good company!

Camping under more stars than sky!
10/10... five stars. "Would camp here again!" Jason and Diana are impeccable and thoughtful hosts! We were greeted with friendliness, provided a tour of the land (which they worked hard to cultivate), met their playful animals, and enjoyed a slice of quiet serenity under the stars. This experience may have ruined me for state campgrounds forever! :) Also, highly recommend the experience of renting the Bivvi Camp for a warm shelter with a dynamite window view. Don't forget to take a dip in the nearby canal! Can't wait to return.

Goats and alpacas galore 🥰
The land was gorgeous! The sunset was Unbelievable over the mountains. The sunrise was just as beautiful in the morning. Jason gave us a full tour of the 40 acre property and was incredibly helpful with recommendations of stuff to do around the area. 10/10 would recommend and plan to return the next time we are in the bend area!

Great simple camping
Big open space with a great view . Jason was there to meet me, very friendly, helpful and open. Easy to find and not too far outside town. He pointed out a nice trail around the property to go for a morning walk.

Wonderful Experience
Everything about this camp was perfection! Directions were clear and it was easy to find. Jason met us and shared beer and the run down. We set up in a flat grassy area with picnic table. The sunset and stars were incredible! It was so peaceful and beautiful. There was a nice walk around the property. Jason brought over a propane fire pit as there is currently a burn ban. And of course the goats. Cutest, most wonderful darlings ever and we got to pet and love on them. Will definitely check for availability next time we are in the area!

Perfect location, stars, & llamas!
My friends and I planned a last-minute girls' trip to Bend and found this perfect location after being unable to secure a campsite through reservation.gov. Jason and his wife were amazing hosts - very communicative, welcoming, and super helpful with recommendations for nearby day hikes and watering holes. Their beautiful property is about 30 minutes outside of Bend, has incredible stargazing and mountain views, and was perfect for my friends and dog Lucy. We loved our stay and would definitely come back!

Beautiful mountain views and goats!
My partner and I spent four nights at Cascadia and we absolutely loved it! The space is beautiful, with incredible views of the mountains and lush fields as far as the eye can see. Jason was super friendly and accommodating, graciously offering us a lighter when we lost ours and giving us great recommendations for the area! We loved watching the sunset and watching the goats play and very much appreciated the potable water and outhouse. We would absolutely recommend staying here and will try to make our way back in the future!

Beautiful farmland and great host!
When our campsite reservation got cancelled due to construction we were scrambling to find a place to pitch our tent and found Jason’s place here! We arrived and we’re greeted right away and Jason walked us through all the amenities as well as good walking paths around the property to see more of the farm animals. He was very welcoming and informative! We are beginner campers and he came out to offer help pitching our tent and brought us more supplies to make sure our tent was nice and secure since it was fairly windy. The next day he helped us get a fire going in his really cool fire pit! Definitely ask about the story behind its creation, it’s a good tale! We had an amazing time saying hi to the animals and star gazing in the clear beautiful sky.

Nice farm camping!
Jason was a wonderful host and the property was very nice! We enjoyed the goats, llamas, and dogs at the farm. A couple of the nights we stayed, it got quite windy and cold, Jason was very generous and accommodating and helped us escape the chill. The views are amazing, and they have a really neat fire pit!
