Picnic table with rain cover, Porta potty, and small parking space. I slept in my car due to the rain. Good last min spot for a drive through the state!

It’s a cute little site! Visually appealing. Not far from the road, but has some really beautiful trees in between, so it’s nice and quiet. Also far from the house; you can barely see it through the trees above. You can see the neighbor’s across the road but overall, it’s pretty private.
Erik was really awesome, thoughtful, communicative, and quick to respond. I love that he didn’t boost the price for the annular eclipse like most other sites. And it ended up being super cloudy anyway, so he actually refunded me for the night which was just beyond thoughtful. I would definitely stay here again.
Apparently they have a pumpkin cannon this time of year. I didn’t stay long enough to use it but that’s pretty neat 🎃

The reservation was sudden we made. Erik was nice to respond under circumstances. It is summer so you don’t expect to see all greenery grasses and shades. It was only us on the site so it was pretty nice. Would come back if we were in the area and different season. Thanks Erik

Beautiful landscape, friendly owner and neighbors, amazing view of the stars. Saw a family of turkeys and three deer within the first hour of set up. I would definitely recommend this site for others.

This spot fit right into our weekend trip of unplugging. Brought too much firewood for the one night here but had s’mores, a day trip to the river and country road driving! Very rustic but full of heart and soul! Tough to find a level spot but it built character in my kids! Erik is a great host and has awesome neighbors!

Easy to book with instant booking. Directions were instant and clear. We arrived fairly late in the night and found the site had a nice string of lights to welcome us.
Difficult to find a good flat piece of land to pitch of tent on but we managed. Do note that the highway is very loud and noticable. Otherwise it was a good experience. We recommend.

Stopped off at Camp Grasshopper for a night and it was a perfect pit stop. Erik was quick to help me out with finding the place after a GPS mixup. Would recommend!

My friend and I were able to camp undisturbed in a lovely little area where our dogs had a blast. Portapotty, water, soap, hammock and place for trash all provided. Would definitely recommend.

This is the most private campsite we were in, there was only us and no one else, down the road there is a house opposite, there are people there, this is the only thing that came to us the feeling that we were not alone in this forest 😂 There was enough space to put a large car, a large tent, there was a great place for a fire, two large tables, bio toilet, There is also a gallon of water, which we really liked, soap too, would have been great if there was a shower! Spent the night in peace, no animals detected 😅 Had a husband, me a child of 10 and a dog! Thanks Erik, I think we will see you again!

Overall the camp met our expectations in terms of facilities and amenities. Affordable and easy to get to off the freeway. Unfortunately there was a barking dog in the vicinity that put a negative vibe on the whole thing. There were small windows of time when all you could hear were crickets but the reality is we had to go to sleep and wake up to a little yapping dog. Assuming it's not the host's dog and more likely a neighbors we hope they can work it out because it's otherwise a decent little pit stop when passing through like we were.

Camping area was clearly marked. Drive up the gravel road a few hundred feet and look for the grasshopper sign. Camping area is at a slight slope but fixable with some leveling blocks. Area is quiet. Convenient porta potty nearby.

Great little spot for travelers along the 5 highway. Easy to find and setup your tent. We had a nice time with a campfire and enjoying the surroundings.

Beautiful meadow overlooking Green Valley. Chorus of Pacific tree frogs serenaded us, which we loved because we grew up in Oakland where that sound meant spring!! We were able to level our Vanagon though the hillside has a good grade. Nice area where tents could be pitched. Some noise from I-5 but we slept fine. There’s a nice fire pit and water available. Erik’s place worked out great for us since the nearby campground was closed. Thanks, Erik!

Easy to find-even late at night! I didn’t hear any highway noise at all. Just lots of crickets in a backdrop of a star filled sky. Had a hand washing area, port a pot and even had some night lights out so we could see where everything was since we pulled in so late.

Good place to camp, close to the Umpqua river and shops for some sweet water activities and basic necessities. Also appreciated that the camping spot had plenty of trees to hang multiple hammocks up and had the basic necessities that we all needed (Porta potty, table, trash). No running water however if you just bring a large jug or two, you’ll be fine. Also, the slant of the hill you camp on is strange at first, but you get used to it haha. Overall a good experience! Thanks Erik, you rock :)
