Great location, loved the easy walk to the Amphitheatre! A few changes could be made to improve the overall experience. True 20 amp service with a heavy gauge cord would help run the AC when needed. Tasteless hose or close proximity spigot. Small fenced area for semi private lounge chair or picnic table area would be appreciated during a stay.

We had a last minute trip to Bend come up. Hotels were booked and I thought, why not roll the RV and try HipCamp. We ended up in a centrally located spot in a quiet part of town that is walking distance to Old Mill and the Amphitheater. The spot was lovely with power so we could run the AC. It was very hot that weekend. This will be a go to spot in the future. Thanks Joel!

We had a fantastic stay in Bend! Joel is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The site itself is great — well-kept and in a perfect location, close to anything you might need.
We had a small mechanical issue with our truck during the trip, and Joel went above and beyond by lending us a tool to help get it fixed. Such a nice guy!
Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a convenient, comfortable, and friendly place to camp.

Quiet flat spot in an amazing location. Quick walk to river, restaurants and music.

Great location close to the Deschutes River trail which is walkable & bikeable for miles. Many parks, restrooms & picnic areas. If visiting in summer, rent paddle boards, rafts & kayaks to float the river or rent bikes to explore the trail.
Old Mill District shops & restaurants about a 20 min walk. Deschutes Brewery (tasting room!) & Hayden Homes amphitheater just across the river: Accessible by pedestrian bridges or a very short drive.
Joel is totally chill & a great host. Highly recommended.

Me and my good friend needed a place to stay the night after a concert at the Hayden Homes Amphitheater, and this was a great spot! We just parked the car set everything up and walked 20 minutes to get there! Joel was super kind and had wonderful hospitality. If we have a concert over there again this will be where we would stay! It felt safe, comfortable, and was a great experience overall.

You can't beat the location--walk to the river for a swim, walk to town and concerts and parks. Also, great vibe--amazing host Joel with a great yard. Plenty parking, water & power are solid. I'll be back!

Place was great! Super close to downtown Bend and the river. Joel was awesome. Set us up with everything we needed. We would definitely stay there again when we pass through Bend.

Joel’s house is in great proximity to everything in town and the river! You can take the walking trails from the house which is awesome. Joel is a really nice guy and very accommodating. It’s camping in a residential area in Joel’s yard but the set up and area work great for urban camping.

We are so grateful we got to spend our trip on Joel’s property. We looked at different campsites and RV camps, but really liked the location so we booked this Hipcamp. We were very impressed by the size of our space we could use and how quiet the neighborhood was. I can’t imagine a rv camp or campground being anywhere near as peaceful. Most of all the host was so welcoming and such a joy to be around. We ended up enjoying a meal with him and enjoying getting to know him. He was also very kind and patient with our 2 year old and 4 year old. Having him host us definitely added to our trip and we are so happy to have met him. The location was perfect for us too. We spent multiple days adventuring either on foot or on bike without the need to drive. There is plenty to do right outside your door. We look forward to our return!

Joel’s space was great. There was plenty of room for our camper and truck, a hose to fill up our tank and it was quiet. We walked to the amphitheater in about 15-20 mins. It was perfect for our short stay.

Joel is a great host. This is great little spot in Bend for a concert (what we did) or to hang for a
few days. If you bring bicycles then you can easily get anywhere in town.

Such a great location and a very friendly and helpful host. This is the perfect location to land if you are going to a concert at the amphitheater or exploring the mill district. Walking distance to music, dining, shopping, floating the river, or relaxing in the park. Highly recommend.

Judy is so kind and was helpful when we needed a few things. This was perfect for us to pull in our 25ft motorhome for a couple of nights. She has power and water. It is less than a mile to the Old Mill District - which was great! We walked everywhere. We will be back!

Judy’s place is in a nice, quiet residential area just a few minutes by bike from the river. Beautiful place to walk or bike and easy access to cute Bend. We had water hookup, electricity, and access to composting and recycling. Judy and Joel were very welcoming. We were only able to stay one night but would’ve been happy for longer.

What a great place to stay! We were in town for a concert which was a lovely walk away along the river path. We stayed to explore and float the river. A great location close to all the old mill district has to offer. Judy was very responsive and a great host.

Judy & Joel’s place was the perfect location to be able to explore Bend with easy access to river, trails, downtown Bend etc. Neighborhood is very quiet, eclectic & great fun to explore. Hosts are super nice & very responsive. Being able to plug in & refill water was huge bonus. Definitely recommend this Hipcamp & if you are headed there for a concert at the amphitheater, location is primo!

Ok hear me out, I almost didn't want to do this review because I didn't want everyone to know how amazing this spot is!!! I'm staying here if I'm ever in bend! Judy was an fantastic host. Was very friendly and helpful. Spot is great location is amazing. Only thing I will say is if you are a trailer you will have to back in so you will need to kinda know what you are doing and bring you a-game other than that couldn't have asked for a better spot!
