Learn more about this land:
This campsite on the Carman Ranch is ideal for travelers needing a layover before and after their adventures in the Eagle Cap Wilderness or on the Grand Ronde river. The campsite itself is in close proximity to an old unused farmhouse, and the property sees occasional use for pasture raised hogs and grass fed cattle. Although the site is fairly exposed to the elements, the property is out of sight of the main road and relatively private.
The location is on the shuttle route for the Wild and Scenic Grand Rond river and within 20 minutes of the closest trailhead to access the Eagle Cap Wilderness.

Beautiful views and wildlife everywhere! We chose a spot underneath the big Ponderosa Pine to pitch our tent and it worked out great. Very gracious hosts, i definitely recommend staying here :)
