Camp right on the Applegate river with us and enjoy the song of water on the rocks! Relax into the end-of-the-road privacy while still being 10 min to Grants Pass and 5 min to the nearest convenience store. We have 5 acres of grass and conifers, with madrone and oak and big leaf maple throughout. There are alders and cottonwood by the water. The main house is at the top of the property. We have several fire pits and places to camp in tents, hammocks, or RVs. We have delicious well water and fire wood stocked. We are a large family of colorful people and animals living a little up river from the merge with the Rogue River. We are open to animal guests, but there are free range chickens and cats, as well as small children on the property.Listen to the sound of the Applegate River as you fall asleep. Wake up to geese and turkeys, or if you're lucky the blue heron who frequent the island or the big eddy nearby. During some seasons we have a small sweat lodge up and some not. You can fish here and we are close to hiking and town. There is a store and a dispensary close by.

Beautiful spot! There was plenty of space and the river was warm for wading in. Everything was very nice and clean

We had a really nice weekend, playing in the water and relaxing. Loved the privacy and avoiding the fireworks in town.

The site is set away from people and immediately adjacent to the water, sure enough slept well with the sound of the gurgling water. Plenty of free firewood.

Absolutely beautiful river for swimming in, located right next to your camp site under a tree to keep cool from the sun. Went to sleep listening to toads and crickets, very peaceful. We really appreciate firewood being provided and smores sticks. The cat was extremely friendly and always said hi to us in our tent, it was awesome. Would highly recommend this spot to anyone, Larz was great!
