Quaint, friendly and clean. The thoughtful touches- signs, campground layout and facilities placed into the Bandon Wayside makes ya want to stay longer. Laundry facilities in each of the two restroom/showers, sanitizer spray for door handles and high touch points, individual hand towels, cloth masks available for purchase which benefit the local animal shelter, picnic tables and a well-placed hammock. There is plenty of shade, too! We slept with the windows open and were not affected by the road one bit. Bandon is a sleepy little town and isn’t a hustle and bustle kind of place. Therefore, “traffic” ends at a reasonable hour and begins at a reasonable hour. The boutique motel serves as a buffer, anyways.
It’s possible there may be an ownership change in the near present. Nonetheless, I will definitely visit, again if I have the opportunity.

Home away from home! David and Nicole were great hosts and had great suggestions. The spot for our van was so adorable, with Adirondack chairs and electrical. And the bathrooms were SPOTLESS!

This place was great!! Cute lights everywhere, FANTASTIC bathroom with everything you could need, electrical plug ins, and water for dishwashing. Nicole was super helpful and kind, would definitely stay here again :)

Nicole and David have created a memorable spot. Great attention to details made our camper van slot cozy (in nice, warm way, not the cramped way) and comfortable. We enjoyed their artful gardens and rustic seating nooks showcasing sea glass and driftwood. Ultra clean bathrooms. Every aspect of our experience was lovely thanks to their thoughtfulness. Both Nicole and David were also helpful, providing maps and suggestions. They really have created a special place. We highly recommend staying here.

Our stay was great. The place was nice and quiet which isn't usually the case with campsites/RV sites. We were super impressed. Nicole told us where the best place was to watch fireworks(we were there over 4th of July). I would definitely stay here again.

This was a great place to camp! The facilities were so clean, like a hotel and it was a short walk and even shorter drive into town. The little spots to sit and relax were very nice too. My boyfriend and I enjoyed getting takeout from the local restaurants and enjoying it in one of the covered picnic areas. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone!

This was a safe stopover and is nicely located near Old Town in Bandon, OR.
Nicole and David were super friendly, full of local knowledge and terrific suggestions for hiking, siteseeing and Southern Coast destinations. As an older woman traveling with my dog this proved to be a great option for the night!
The bathroom/shower rooms were absolutely immaculate! A clean hot shower after several days of car camping was like heaven!
The hosts have made the property very inviting with many smaller areas for gatherings and/or eating. Super cool vibe with the retro paint colors, fun and artistic touches and colored lights strung across some of the outdoor spaces.
I was car camping there for the just the night so having a neighbor in close proximity wasn't an issue but if you need space or have a tent I'm sure they can accommodate you.
Two thumbs way up for the hosts and property!

This place is top tier. I worked remotely from my van all week using the wifi. Verizon service is also good enough to tether. The bathrooms are immaculate, they must have cleaned them 5+ times throughout the day. Showers and laundry are better than you could ask for. There are neat little huts to hang out in around the property. The hosts are very nice. I don't leave many reviews, but this place is unique.

Nicole was as welcoming as prior reviews said. Bathrooms were luxurious. Nice location. Not a lot of space for tents, but if the has a spot, grab it when you are in Bandon.

What a great place to stay! Cleanest bathrooms of all time with laundry and hot showers and Super friendly and kind hosts. Really cute place with lots of thoughtful touches like covered areas for cooking and hanging out, picnic tables, benches, an area to walk your pets, etc. Walking distance to town and short drive to great trails and state parks! Will definitely be back :)

Unfortunately I misjudged how quickly I would make my way down the coast and wasn’t able to enjoy this site, but Nicole was fantastic about communication leading up to the reservation!

Awesome place to stay! Bathrooms were spotless and host was friendly and welcoming. Camp spot was perfect for us and the area was clean and adorable. Nice lights at night to help you navigate. We will definitely be back!

Neat and tidy, Nicole and her partner both greeted us. Great shower room. Traffic noise didn't bother us at all. Nice landscaping, with big trees, gravel driveway and large chips to keep you out of the dirt

Nicole's manages this place extremely professionally. It is clear she has thoroughly and thoughtfully made changes reflecting COVID, and her communication was excellent through HipCamp, in person and via signs. As others have posted, the bathrooms are incredibly clean. Wifi connection even allowed me to watch short videos for my Spanish homework.

We loved how clean and nice the bathrooms and showers were. Nice and quiet stay. Comfortable campsite with cute touches, like painted rocks, a hammock, colored lights that dim during quiet time, and a picnic table. Complied with all Covid requirements, very respectful and kind host.

We loved staying at Bandon Wayside for several reasons; the hosts are genuinely kind people, they take amazing care of the place and the bathrooms were cleaned regularly (I never saw one spec of dirt in them during our entire stay). The spots are a bit cozy but the atmosphere is lovely with lots of trees and touches of humor throughout the place. For those with RV’s this is the perfect spot in Bandon. Those seeking privacy or natural surroundings it’s not as ideal. We loved it and would return again.

We stayed in the tent section but there are RVs and a motel too. Nicole was gracious and greeted us upon arrival and then showed us around. We met some nice people at the site and it was really well kept, clean and inspiring. A really good vibe. The location is amazing as you are super close to town. Definitely recommend.

This is such a gorgeous spot! Don’t miss this gem off of highway 101 if you’re driving along the coast. The Wayside is kept up with such loving attention. The building and grounds are beautiful and hip with a Baja vibe to them. Nicole was super friendly and helpful. It was clear they are working really hard to keep things extremely clean and sanitized during the pandemic so that we can all still enjoy their pristine facilities. Had the best shower of my life after being on the road all day. Ten out of ten! Love this place to camp and stay.
