Site 7 - Heated Action Sports Glamping
I had a pretty fun experience at the little campground. The glamping aspect was done well and I loved the heated beds and ample electric charging features. The fire pit was great, but the grounds could use another fire pit by how many campers needed it at once. Of course I don't mind sharing, but needed some space. Overall it was pretty impressive especially if you're in to skateboarding.

This place is fabulous. The host was hospitable-made his rounds to see if we needed anything. The yurts were clean, roomie(1 king or two twin beds) host has cots available. Camp was quiet, everyone was kind and respectful. Water and wood available. No BBQ but there is a communal fireplace which could be cooked over. We just brought a portable BBQ. Electricity and heat to the yurt.
This place if perfect if you are a skateboarder looking to have fun. There is an outside sauna and cold plunge from a creek.
Overall 5 stars. Highly recommend if you want to skate.

Jim is the perfect host—friendly, welcoming, and very accommodating without being intrusive. The campsite is beautifully-kept and well worth a visit.

As always Jim the host was awesome, and so is the campsite. It’s such a perfect spot and has everything from clean bathrooms, to wood for a nice fire and meeting new people. Great all around every time.

We had a blast! Such a great place! Jim instantly made us feel welcome. There was a plumbing hiccup but he was on top of it and got it resolved quickly. Plus, the most magical sauna oasis you ever did see! We hope to be back next year.

Very nice little camping / glamping spot - close to all the major Mt Hood activities. Camp host was very nice. Sauna was relaxing. Access to the skateboard park was great.

Love love love coming to this place
Best place we’ve found so close to Portland and yet far enough to appreciate nature. The sauna and cool plunge were a giant hit this time with wife and kiddo. Next time will take pics! Jim and Noah are out of this world hosts. What an amazing place!

Site 4 - Action Sports Adventure Rig Sites
If you’re into extreme sports, this place is unreal. The Romer sites on the Windells campus felt like staying in the middle of an action sports playground. You’ve got access to the Concrete Jungle, a full-blown skatepark indoors out back, and trails for BMX and mountain biking just steps away. Plus, you’re right by Timberline for snowboarding or skiing and minutes from epic downhill biking.
The campsite itself is dialed in. Showers, power hookups, flat sites, and room to relax. It’s not roughing it, but it’s still rugged enough to feel like an adventure. You wake up and literally hear skateboards rolling and bikes dropping in. It’s that kind of place.
Whether you’re chasing lines at the resort, sessioning the park, or biking the forest, it’s all right there. This spot is a haven for riders, skaters, and anyone who lives for the action sports lifestyle. Can’t wait to come back.

This place is magical. We stopped by after deciding to get a place to sleep 30 minutes before arriving. Wow, from the trampoline park, to the serene nature and sauna with stream running around it. This place is a dream. Clean bathrooms and showers and.. a skatepark. We don’t have kids, but if you do I can only imagine it would be one of the most memorable trips you’ve ever taken. Would highly highly recommend.

Site 6 - Heated Action Sports Glamping
We recently stayed at this camp and wanted to share an honest review—not to be negative, but to help others know what to expect. The camp is thoughtfully designed and located in a beautiful forest next to an awesome action sports school for kids. Access to the skatepark, gym, and bike trails when not in use was a great perk. Jim, the host, was very friendly and accommodating.
The canvas tents are set up in a large communal circle. They feel private, and the heaters and heated mattress pads made cold nights more comfortable. That said, you’re close to your neighbors, and noise travels. Quiet hours start at 10PM, but some guests stayed up talking around the fire until 2AM, making it hard to sleep. You can also hear highway noise.
The tents were clean inside, but there was visible mold & mildew on the canvas—understandable in a wet forest, but still a bit off-putting. The beds were also quite firm. Our biggest issue was with dogs: despite leash rules, several dogs were off-leash or had long tethers that allowed them to reach our tent, including one from the host. Our leashed, senior dog was stressed by these encounters.
There are only two bathrooms for the whole camp, and they weren’t very clean during our stay—one was out of paper towels all day, and people left personal items inside.
Overall, the location is great and it suited our basic needs, but the close communal setup and lack of rule enforcement weren’t a good fit for us.

We had a great time 🤩✨, My partner and I stayed here for our anniversary and it exceeded our expectations. Amazing facility for skateboarding, intense trampoline, rock climbing , ping pong and gym. This site is a luxury campers dream extremely nice tent with beds with heat pads and heater. They provide a lamp as well you can charge your phones with. We will definitely be back during winter season, they have amenities for snowboarders which is fantastic. Wonderful experience and think it’s absolutely amazing what programs they provide for students in action sports.

Loved staying here, lots of fun activities to do! Facilities are kept clean and organized. The camping spot was nice and peaceful. The skateboarding areas are top notch and the sauna is perfect. As the cherry on top owner was also very nice and responsive. All in all we cannot wait to come back and visit again!

This place is incredible. We just looked for a spot for crash for the night before riding Sandy Ridge and totally didn’t expect what was offered. It turns out this is a wonderland for action sports fans - enormous skate / BMX park with multiple jumps and ramps, one of the best we have ever been to. They also have trampoline and indoor area for more fun. Two kids had a blast and all is included in camping price. For this much $$ Woodward lets one kid to use their facility for two hours. So rad a place like this exists.
