Raven's Point 3, Tryfan Forest
We had a wonderful time at Raven’s Point! It was secluded, quiet, rugged, all the best parts of backcountry camping but with a dependable and responsive host at your back door. Site was well cared for, there were plenty of trails to discover and if you ran out of anything, town was a short paddle and a drive away. Can’t wait to come back, our dog didn’t want to leave.

Great Host, great camp site!
Highly recommend this site. Brent was a great host. He met us at the parking lot and gave us directions to the camp site. He also had canoes and life jackets ready for us. The site was fantastic, great views and tons of space. Just the right amount of remote too.

Perfect Camping
My friends and I do a camping trip every year. I came across this site and all I can say is amazing! Brent, was a sensational host and helped us everyway he could! The site was huge and the trails were so peaceful. The one thing that I can say about this site is if your looking at it, BOOK IT! We will be back again!

Awesome!
Superb! Couldn't be more scenic. Opted to paddle stuff to the site, really nice, easy enough to find the site. Also hiked the tail, also easy enough to navigate. Neighboring sites are far enough away that you hardly know anyone else is out there. Brent was quick to respond to questions and super helpful!

Tryfan House
Our stay at Tryfan House was amazing! The house itself is adorable and comfortable. The lake view is spectacular and we saw so much wildlife. The water is warm for swimming and can get murky at times, but Brent is open about that in the details. We enjoyed all the water equipment provided. We couldn’t squeeze in a hike because it rained for an entire day, but the covered deck enabled us to remain outside, play games and BBQ. Brent was fully accessible and responded quickly if we had questions. We will definitely be back!

Raven's Point 2, Tryfan Forest
I stayed for two nights at this campsite with a group of 6 people. It's a bit of a smaller site, but we had enough room for 3 small tents. The fire pit is well maintained and there are beautiful views of the water in the morning and at the evening. The dock is in need of some repairs soon, but works fine as is. The site is about a 10-20 minute canoe ride from the main dock at Tryfan house. Brent was very accommodating and responsive prior to the trip. There was a bit of a communication mishap on our last day as we were waiting for Brent to transport our gear out of the site and we were left waiting around for a few hours. Otherwise Brent was very helpful and offered to supply us with anything we were missing equipment wise.

Awesome host!!
Brent was an exceptional host right from the start! We arrived late and had no daylight left to make the hike in to our site. He offered for us to stay in the cottage for the night, which was amazing! He made the whole trip enjoyable for myself and my son, and was a pleasure to have around!! Thank you Brent for making our holiday memorable! The land was perfect for anyone wanting a back country camping experience. The scenery was beautiful and has everything you could think of. A nice size lake, steep ridges, waterfalls, marsh, meadows, rocky caves, it's endless! And, the closest town is just a short drive away if you find you need or forgot something. (15 mins) Canoes were provided free of charge.. With lifejackets...for anyone not wanting to hike in to the campsites. This was a wonderful bonus!! The sites were clean, very quiet and private, have great views, and all have a dock to make it even easier to canoe over with your gear. I truly don't think I could have found a more perfect fit for our holiday! And Brent being the absolute BEST host just made it that much more enjoyable! Thank you so much for everything, we both appreciate your effort and dedication to keeping your guests happy and comfortable! I would HIGHLY recommend Tryfan forest as a camping getaway! You won't be disappointed!!! We will be going back for sure!! 11/10.

The site was the best out of the three. It was huge and had lots of seperate space. There is a beaver that lives on the land and he is most active in the late afternoon into the night.

Great little spot. A nice intro to backcountry camping. A short hike or paddle in, and still get the experience of being away from the luxury of your vehicle. The site itself was beautiful.

Beautiful site and we'll maintained, Brent was really helpful and available to us if we had questions. Only downside is it was quite a noisy lake with cottage parties and motor boats - we were surprised since the lake is so small - but a really minor damper. All in all would highly recommend.

Adventurous Retreat
Get ready for an authentic camping experience. There are two ways to get to your camping spot - 2km hike or 1.5km canoeing/paddling. So make sure you're prepared for the trip. We chose to get there by boat which definitely added adventurousness to the whole trip. Tryfan Forest is a very beautiful place, so it's definitely worth it! We enjoyed our secluded wilderness retreat and wished we could stay longer. The camping spot was cozy and picturesque, had a nice picnic table and a fire pit. There was a dock right by our place, so we did some swimming, fishing and sunbathing. Our host Brent was very helpful and easy to communicate with. Lulling wilderness sounds and an epic sunset/sunrise - we were truly spoiled by the nature during our stay. What a wonderful place to just recharge.

Tryfan House
A perfect home away from home
We happened upon Tryfan House in January when we were looking for a last minute getaway to somewhere we could have a lot of winter fun. We loved it so much, we immediately booked it again for a summer vacation, and again were not disappointed. Brent is the type of Host that all AirBnb/HipCamp hosts should strive to be. As before, Brent was very accommodating and checking in with us before and throughout the trip to see if there was anything he could do for us or recommend. Since it was summer this time, it was a totally different experience. First off, mosquitoes and black flies are present, but manageable with spray and coils (which Brent provided). The lake is soft bottom, which means a lot of plants grow in it up to the surface (lily pads and tall grasses). However, it is crystal clear and you can see to the bottom. Other guests noted it was dirty, it is not, on a sunny day, you can see to the bottom, but it is a soft bottom lake, which Brent clearly notes. There are sections where there are no plants that you can swim in, including off the dock of the cabin. We visited Gooderham beach (8 min drive) and Glamor Lake Beach (15 min drive), both of which had areas where we could walk into the water and they were both clean and clear and we could swim without worrying about plants Review continued https://docs.google.com/document/d/1np4-sWXCHxvuSrzTQx31iK3J2MkW4WhoYYRK9MBELdg/edit?usp=sharing

We had an amazing trip at Tryfan forest. The dock, picnic table and fire grill were nice additions to a typical campsite! Brent responded to any questions we had quickly. The campsite felt very private and we had an amazing time watching stars, fireflies and listening to the loons on the water.
