I recommend this place to anyone wanting seclusion and beauty. The price was also right for what we got and loved the cabin and fire place as well. P.S you got a very nice solar unit! Thank you!

We had a wonderful time at this cabin! Our dog loved exploring the trails and spending time down near the water. We saw so much wildlife and the fall colours were beautiful. As always the cabin was ready for us when we arrived and Katrina & Graham were great hosts. We will be back!

Grayotter Cabin
This location was everything and more that was described. The lot was bigger than expected and the setup was amazing. While it was just the 2 of us there were many little spots within our site to sit and take in the nature around us. From the bumble bees to the massive amount of birds to the amazing beaver. The spot was very well stocked. We definitely over packed. My only complaint was we weren't there long enough. We will definitely be going back.

I love Riverbend. Such a magical place. The cabin is sweet and simple and has everything you need, but it's really the land. This morning I swam in the cold river water as two herons flew overhead and the fall leaves glowed around me. Magic. Thank you Katrina and Graham for sharing this beautiful spot with those of us who desperately need a break from the city--we'll be back!

Will book again. The cabin is beautifully done, inviting and peaceful. Care can be seen in every aspect. From the many chairs placed around the property giving you a stunning view to the screened in gazebo and over look at the waters edge. The water was low when I was there, but it provided the opportunity to walk among the rock bottom of the river! The wildlife was also abundant, and we caught a few glimpses of the Grey Otter!
The hosts were helpful, kind and make every effort for their guests.

Grayotter Cabin
There are not enough words to describe Katrina and Graham's Grayotter cabin at Riverbend...tranquil, serene, calm, peaceful, quiet and restful are just a few! The cabin is quaint and cozy and has everything you need to be comfortable. Riverbend is beautiful and has several locations to sit, ground, breathe and admire the great gifts of nature and Mother Earth. We saw the blue herons, blue jays, frogs, catepillars, bees pollinating, humming bird, dragonflies and a beaver swimming in the pond. The river was low so we missed the rapids but will definitely be back to experience that another time. There was a fireband but we brought our propane fire bowl, watched the evening sky and laid on cots outside to see the stars. It was all just so breathtaking, grounding and relaxing and we couldn't have picked a better or more amazing place to celebrate our 42nd wedding anniversary which may now become a yearly thing. We had the luxury of 6 nights but we will definitely book longer on our next visit!! You guys have found a piece of paradise and you're kind enough to share it with others and I know we are very appreciative and grateful! Thank you Katrina and Graham for sharing your paradise and being amazing hosts!!

We LOVEDDDDD this place . So peaceful , so secluded!! Our dogs had a BLAST. I won’t even lie, we booked it for our dogs to be able to be off leash and run free, and it’s the absolute perfect spot for it. It was beyond clean, comfortable and cute !!!! The dock is perfect for swimming and the river is clean! A whole kitchen set up, which is amazing ,and some hydro too! We will deff be back next summer!! Also town is very close considering how deep into the woods you are, Madoc is an adorable little town! We can’t wait to come back

Grayotter Cabin
Great spot to get away and enjoy the great outdoors. The river is running low, so we did have quite a few visitors that would make their way up the river to go fishing and hang out right next to the dock. That took some of the privacy aspect away, but was still great otherwise. We still swam and our dogs definitely enjoyed it. Just what we needed to decompress. The bugs were also not bad at all, which was a bonus. No shortage of things do. Loved how they put together so many spots to sit and enjoy the view. There are enclosed areas as well as outdoorsy spots. Katrina and Graham have clearly put a ton of effort into making a cozy space for so many people to enjoy! Will definitely go back again!!

This place is beautiful. We loved exploring the different trails and sitting near the water. There was lots to do and the cabin was very cosy. We will be back!

Grayotter Cabin
This was a very peaceful spot. Heron came to say goodbye this morning. The wildlife was amazing to see. The property is private and peaceful - with screened in areas for when the bugs are bad (dawn and dusk) and varied seating areas to enjoy at other times. The heron fishing in the shallows and the rapids, the momma and three young otters playing and fishing just off the dock, the large turtle hanging out in the afternoon sun, the cardinal flowers along the shore attracting hummingbirds, the kingfishers fishing in the pool……
Just enough cell service to do my daily Wordle but nothing else which was perfect.
Hope to come back in other seasons to see it in fall colours and snow and ice.

This was our second time at Grayotter Cabin and it was even better than the first! We celebrated my child's 10th birthday there and it couldn't have been more beautiful! And they even left my son a cute little birthday pin! We absolutely love Katrina and Graham's property and can't wait to come back for another visit!

This weekend was better than we could have imagined. The pictures do not do the property justice. Extremely private and peaceful. Tons of wild life! We were fortunate enough to see a family of 4 otters passing by, 2 beavers swimming round, a handful of minks, hummingbirds that took there time flying by us on the upper deck and a couple decent size turtles hanging around. Our German shepherd had the time of her life out there too. We would love another opportunity to go back. Thank you for sharing this piece of paradise.

We visited during the first week of July. It was a peaceful, serence location with lots of bikes and trails close by. We saw a heron, beavers, frogs, nesting birds and more. The water was lovely to swim in. There were a lot of deer and black flies to deal with, but managable. Would definitely want to visit again.

Grayotter Cabin
This place was a true gem! We really enjoyed the serene views, the sounds of nature and just simply getting away from the chaos of our city.
My littles had a blast, catching frogs, crayfish, exploring the rocks on the stream, prepping fires and exploring the woods. We will definitely be back! 💗

Katrina & Graham’s Grayotter Cabin is such a beautiful place. Nestled in a river bend you could hear the rumble of the rapids lying in bed at night! It is such a gorgeous natural setting. The cabin is an amazing off grid space and has just about everything. Just add water! There is plenty of firewood, two fire pits outside and a cozy woodstove!
We absolutely enjoyed our stay there and would highly recommend it for anyone wanting to get away from it all in a pristine natural environment.
The hosts are super responsive to answer any questions and made us feel very welcome. Our dog Patches loved our little weekend away!!

I couldn't stay away for long after I found this gem last year. My second visit, just as peacefull and relaxing as I remembered. Falling asleep with the sound of rushing water from the river is amazing. Finally got to enjoy the second firepit by the water so calming.

We stayed at Riverbend for our anniversary and it could not have been more perfect. The property is gorgeous, secluded and quiet. The cottage was well stocked. We had the most incredible time and we could not recommend this stay enough!

We absolutely loved our anniversary weekend getaway at the Greyotter Cabin! Katrina and Graham we're amazing hosts! The cabin was set up perfectly and they provide everything you need! The vibe at the cabin was so relaxing! There were so many spots to explore and relax. We can't wait for our next visit!

The best valentines retreat ever, the beautiful property helped me to fall in love with winter again. Even when we hiked around for a while through 3 feet of snow, it was easy to warm up again by the wood stove. Everything you didn’t even know you needed was already there. The amount of thought put into this place is incredible. We’ll definitely be back in the summer ❤️

My partner and I had a beautiful stay at Katrina & Graham's cabin. So cozy, peaceful and private. We saw a beaver hanging out in the river and some swans, even with most of the river frozen. What a snowy delight. The place is very well kept and the hosts are easy to communicate with. The cabin warms up quick and is well stocked. Would definitely recommend!

Riverbend was the perfect getaway for the dogs and I. Katrina and Graham were very accommodating and quick to answer any question I had. There was lots of forest to explore during the day and the cabin was super cozy for nighttime. It has everything you need from candles, extra headlamps, kitchen cookware and dishes. Two fire pits to decide where to have a fire either close to the cabin or by the water. I couldn't recommend this place more and hope to be back to explore during other seasons!
