Bill was an excellent host. Everything I needed and more was made available to me. I appreciate that there is some privacy between the main house and the campsite. The firepit was amazing. Would definitely come back again.

Best Hip Camp in Ontario!
We've boondock camped all summer, all over Ontario and never have we been to a better spot. Bill and Sharon are the absolute best people you'll ever meet and are so accommodating.
The amenities are plenty and if you're lucky you see lots of koi fish in their pond. The peace and quiet here is second to none. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Bill is an incredible host with an absolutely gorgeous property. We brought our 23ft motorhome and had total privacy with our own fire pit as well as access to an amazing hiking trail. Our dog loved running free in the golden wheat fields. 5 stars.

Beautiful spot! Loved the privacy, easy access and nice hosts! The toilet&shower were such a nice bonus! So clean, quiet and peaceful.

My Family and I enjoyed the camping spot. Very nice host, only 10min drive to major grocery stores. Site is private and well situated. We would definitely recommend.

Camping in the country
Bill’s property is beautiful. The camping pad overlooks the field and has trees on one side creating privacy.
The firepit and composting toilet were nice to have.
In the morning we sat by the pond and enjoyed the scenery.
We appreciated all of Bill’s efforts and he met us upon arrival and showed us how everything worked. We would recommend. :)

A True Country Retreat
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Country Retreat. Bill and Sharon were excellent hosts and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed for a great stay. The site is adjacent to a wood pile and also some trees giving privacy from the main house while providing excellent views of the field (currently growing wheat) and is adjacent the pond (with deck and chairs). Our son loved feeding the Koi fish in the pond. There are walking trails as well as a walking path adjacent to the field. We would definitely recommend this Hipcamp location.

Unfortunately we had some bad weather during my stay that knocked out power; however, Bill & Sharon were incredibly helpful and kind, ensuring I had a great stay. The location was also lovely, my dogs absolutely loved exploring the property!
