Great off-grid spot for some real primitive camping. It's right where the creek and river meet. Took my son for his first camping trip there for father's day weekend. The owner is really nice. When we arrived to the property, we were confused where to go, and we called him for directions. He stayed on the phone with us the entire time until we found our camping site. Plenty of wood and fish out there. Also deer, rabbits, etc. Also several acres to explore. Highly recommend.

The land and water were beautiful and it was great to get away from work and reality for a day. We had a great time with our dogs and plenty of space to set up camp. The cows wander through this spot often as it is near their food and water, but they kept enough of a distance and were very entertaining to watch. Host was helpful and quick to respond. Highly recommend!

We had such an incredible experience staying here. David was wonderfully kind and even met us for a late-night check-in, which we truly appreciated. As a family of four with two little kids in a 30-foot travel trailer, this spot was perfect for us.
We spent our days exploring, hiking, and climbing, all while enjoying the seclusion and privacy the site offered. Evenings were magical with campfires under the stars, and the kids loved meeting the friendly farm animals.
This place exceeded our expectations, and we can’t recommend it enough!

If you want remote and off grid, this is your spot. My husband and I enjoyed unplugging from our devices and just enjoying nature. Would definitely stay here again!

We had such a great time camping here! We love early check in and later checkout times! The bentonite clay pool was so much fun and the cool water felt amazing. We stayed off by the candian river and there were stickers out there but were used to them by now.
We cant wait to come back to show off this awesome spot to more family and friends!

It’s a beautiful area, but I have two major complaints: the grass was knee-high and there was no picnic table! The owner needs to mow the area and let it be known on the description that there is no table of any kind, so you can bring your own.
The little path down to the river is precarious, I mean, it’s camping, but even for an able-bodied person, it would be easy to fall.

This site has potential but for our needs... not a great fit. We had two little boys with us. The banks were steep and slick and the river up due to rain so that was a no go. There are stickers...and the grass was about 2 ft high so with both...not a great option for kids thia time of year. It's a nice place though. We stayed at the river site so I cannot speak to the other site available. All in all it's be nice for a camper van or adults but it's just sticker season.

Loved our stay! This site is right on the river. We had a great time exploring. El Reno is close enough to okc to visit other attractions during the day and still be back in time for the sunset and s’mores. Plenty of fire wood to gather, big enough space for plenty of friends. We plan on visiting again.

Great spot for tent camping, right next to the river. Plenty of room for kids to roam and ride. Kids had great time swimming in river and having mud fights. There was plenty of dried wood for camp fires. Host was great!

Beautiful spot with a clear river running right next to the site. Our experience was perfect save for two variables we hadn’t seen mentioned in other reviews.
This site is covered in sticker weed, which poked a few holes in some of our gear and If you’re pitching a tent, make sure to bring a really thick footprint/tarp, and use a cot if you have it available. Fortunately this should only be a seasonal problem.
The site is also close enough to an oil rig such that you can hear it running day/night.
The area had plenty of dry wood for a fire, and the scenery provided all we could ask for. We had a great time!

Great piece of land that can accommodate a large group. The water area is clear blue/green water, and we enjoyed watching the cows come down to water. The kids enjoyed the bentonite mud (bring a change of clothes!) and the bentonite pile. Would definitely return.

Great spot with water, wildlife (whitetails, geese, ducks, etc), plenty of room, and deadwood for a campfire.
If you are tent camping be sure to bring a tarp for "stickers"/"burrs" and some waders (for fun) because the creek/river is right next to camp with little islands to explore.
David was a great host and helped me find the place when I got a little turned around. Overall 5 stars.

It was a great location...not someplace where you can take a sedan. Great location need to take bring boots and sock for the burrs...but absolutely love it. Will come here again!

Great hosts that met us and guided us to the spot upon our late arrival. Definitely primitive, but we had everything we needed. My kids enjoyed the water and playing in the mud.

The site was beautiful, we stayed a little closer to where you can swim in the Canadian river, but it was such a pleasure! Private spaces all around, we ever got visited by a friendly cow! The river wasn’t too deep so littles could play and stay cool safely!

We couldn't stay there. There was no grass. The ground was covered in manure. The picnic table was covered partially with something that resembled blood or rust. The pond was nothing like the pictures.

This place was great. I took my wife and son and we tent camped. The host provides a nice bench style table to use, and even left their lounge char in the water for us. The water and clay? that is in this pond is unlike anything we've been in before and definitely a unique experience. We roamed the grounds a bit and found a nice creek, met some cows and got to enjoy the beautiful sunset.
I would beware if you're in a low-profile car to NOT drive over the ramp on the way to the campsite. We got stuck in our Chevy Volt and had to push it off. You can drive around if you're concerned, but this only added to the memories.
Will definitely come back.
