Rocky and uneven terrain, very hilly, a little open valley for running around. Twenty plus acres with ponds, a rock face jutting out of a hill, lots of trails and a dry creek bed that will flood with a heavy rain, it runs east to west. There is a waterless restroom located in the valley, hand sanitizer is provided.

A 50 amp service is available, fresh water can be provided to fill tanks, but there is no dump station on site. A fire pit comes with the site and a some firewood. Refreshments and firewood are available in the lounge that is located nearby.

A one room log cabin on a hill top/ Plateau. Inside the cabin we offer modern amenities. A couch that pulls out into a bed with sheets and an extra blanket that will accommodate two and a queen bed. Lots of trails, the terrain is rocky, hills and valleys provide nice views, plus man made strip pits that have been reclaimed by nature add to the uniqueness of the land, a good chance wildlife will be observed. Twenty minutes from Joplin or Miami and ten minutes from Seneca.

The bell tent on site is situated on top of a small raised platform area overlooking a small valley in between hills. Mostly grass, it offers a fire pit and string lights over head and a 15 amp outlet under a weather proof cover. Toilet is available in a water less restroom where hand sanitizer is provided. Lots of room to roam but situated right off the road for easy access. We are in between Miami, OK and Joplin, MO. and we are situated in between many casinos. There is an eight hole disc golf available for campers to use and the holes are numbered. A full size bed is provided for sleeping inside the tent along with two chairs for the inside and two chairs for the outside. The bell tent has a small air conditioner that blows through one window that works real well at night to keep you cool but not so much in the heat of the day. Fire wood is provided but If you need more then it can be purchased through the vending machine.

It was a perfect get away. Has so much to offer right on the land. They had a stack of fire wood for the evening another nice touch my stay. Enjoyed the lounge it had a coffee pot microwave mini ice machine and a vending machine you can buy firewood from it was perfect. Restroom was clean and close. There was all kinds of activities like Frisbee golf.... I had a very nice stay and I will return.

Peoria hills cabin
We had a great time here. Beautiful land and cozy cabin. Very comfortable and great kitchen set up with induction stove and convection countertop oven. Everything was very clean and well stocked with everything from board games to laundry soap. The hosts John and Ginny are nice and welcoming. We will definitely come back when we can stay longer.

Peoria Hills camping/Route66/casino
Very quiet, even being located just off a road. Outdoor shower was a welcome experience after a long day on the road. I made a small fire with the supplies thoughtfully provided. The lounge with coffee maker and microwave was a nice touch.

Peoria Hills RV site, casino/rt66
John and his wife were so kind and attentive. Very responsive and communicative, and made me feel welcome and this spot was safe and laid out nicely! The cedar outdoor shower with the inline water heater worked perfectly, and was just heaven. This spot is on an old Drive-In movie theater property, and you can feel and see the nostalgia. I highly recommend this spot!

Peaceful seclusion
Peoria hills cabin
The cabin was super clean and tidy! I explored the land and found the secluded area very peaceful. I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a quiet retreat.

Peoria hills cabin
Cabin was really nice and felt like home quickly. Was far enough in the country for the nice quiet seclusion, but close to plenty of natural beauties and float rivers in MO. Hope to be able to go back again with some more friends for another trip!
