This property boasts breathtaking views of the lake and mountains. Guests can stroll to the water for swimming, fishing, or kayaking right from the campground's banks. While boats cannot be launched on-site, a boat ramp is just a few miles away. Boats may be pulled up to our shore for daytime convenience. Our intimate campground features spacious pull-through sites starting at 40x60 feet, complete with full hookups, eliminating the hassle of waste disposal upon departure. The pavilion provides breathtaking views of the lake and mountains. It features an open area measuring 30x30 feet, complete with a full kitchen and two bathrooms. The surrounding space affords a private setting. A great place for events including weddings, family reunions and more intimate gatherings. The tiny cabin is rustic but functional. Although there is no kitchen, it has a coffee maker, microwave and mini fridge. The shower is small and can only be used for quick showers. However, the environment and views make the spot great for relaxing and enjoying nature.

Auntie's Cabin
The property was absolutely amazing! Very clean, few bugs which we were thankful for, and the view of the sunset was absolutely breathtaking! The bath house is a great addition; very roomy and water as hot as you'd like! The inside of the cabin had a very rustic charm to it which I loved! The owner stopped by amd was the nicest lady. We will definitely be returning to this property.

Loved the cabin and the location, the host was really appreciative and kind. We checked in late but the host didn't mind it at all. The night sight was also beautiful. The cabin was exactly as advertised and everything was clean. Would definitely recommend this everyone.

We ended up booking an extra night—not to stay overnight, but just to spend a few more hours before leaving. That alone says something about how peaceful the setting can be when you’re the only guests. That said, as I mentioned in my earlier review, the biggest thing this campground is missing is shade, trees, and a bit of natural “messiness.” The entire space is too orderly—just a flat, treeless field with evenly spaced RV slots. It lacks the privacy and character that more organic layouts offer. They have enough land to redesign things and make it feel less like a parking lot and more like a retreat. Even if they want to keep the current number of sites, I’d strongly recommend spacing them out more and planting trees to provide shade and separation. We enjoyed our stay, but I still believe the experience would be much better with more natural elements and thoughtful layout adjustments.

We stayed at this RV campground by the lake and appreciated the open space and peaceful surroundings—especially since we were the only guests during our visit. The RV spots are clearly marked and laid out on a wide, treeless field, which keeps things neat but also means no shade and very little character. Access to the lake is available but limited to just one small open area. It worked fine for us since we had it all to ourselves, but if the campground gets busy, sharing that one access point could be frustrating. Same goes for the RV spots—they’re very close together, so it could feel cramped during high season. One of our main reasons for coming was fishing, but unfortunately, the lake was high at the time and there wasn’t much action. Not necessarily the campground’s fault, just something to keep in mind depending on the season. A bigger issue was the electrical hookup. The breaker kept tripping when we tried to run our RV’s electric heater, so we had to switch to gas. The owners stopped by to introduce themselves—friendly people, and you can tell they’re just starting out with this place. That said, there was a bit of confusion around the rules. We were shown where we could and couldn’t go, but on the last day we were asked to leave an area that had previously been marked as okay. Nothing serious, but it points to the need for clearer communication and perhaps a bit more polish on the service side.

This place was absolutely beautiful! When we first turned onto the property, the views were breathtaking—the mountains, the water, and the lush greenery all around. We stayed in the tiny cabin, which doesn’t look like much from the outside but is incredibly cozy and charming on the inside. It had a very comfy bed, a microwave, a refrigerator, a coffee maker, and a full bathroom. If you’re looking for a sweet little cabin getaway where you can be surrounded by nature but still have the comfort of a roof over your head, this is perfect! It’s the perfect opportunity to really unplug and enjoy some quality time with your partner or family. Plus we saw a deer, some rabbits, an eagle and lots of cute birds. The hosts were wonderful and very accommodating. We absolutely loved the whole experience and would highly recommend it to anyone considering staying here!

This has absolutely stunning views! We were making jokes about not telling a soul about this place so people don’t ruin it haha…but if you’re nearby totally worth it! Actually it’s worth it even if you have not got a reason to be nearby

Being so close to the water was pretty amazing, the camp was clean and quiet and exactly what I was looking for in a no frills experience. Having the one site restrooms (that were very clean) was a plus! Will be back in the future.

Fantastic spot. I’m a female solo traveler and I felt safe and the directions to the site were very clear. Hosts are quick to respond. The bathrooms & showers were very clean and well looked after. The view of the lake with the moon rise was stunning! 10/10 would recommend.

I instantly fell in love with this place. Lush, green grass. Beautiful lake views. Surrounding hills and forests. Big open skies. And full RV hookups??! Needless to say, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. It was great to go swimming in the lake on the super hot days. My only complaint is that the other guests would take their dog off leash down to the swimming hole and not pick up the droppings.

Beautiful location. No issues finding the spot with GPS. Sites are well enough spaced out, slightly more angled spots would have been nice for bigger rigs, but we managed, lol. We were very pleased with how well-kept the grass was. The entire camp was freshly mowed on Friday. Our dogs loved running down the Corps strip of land to the water. Amazing Mountain View! We would absolutely return here in the future. This is a hidden gem. ❤️

Lovely location off Sardis Lake. Outstanding restrooms (full toilets and sinks) and large, clean showers. Excellent water pressure with hookups (consider a pressure regulator just in case…I did not hook up). Would recommend.

Eclipse bargain of the century!! $20/night is crazy cheap for water, electricity and sewer at each site! Throw in two bathrooms with flush toilets (and sinks with running water!), plus separate showers with great water pressure, and this is the best deal ever!! Great sunset views, and dogs loved the off-leash access to Corp of Engineers shoreline around the lake. Good times had by all!

I loved camping on Sheila’s land. The views were beautiful!! It was quiet and peaceful. Our dogs LOVED the space to run! They were EXHAUSTED! Can’t beat the price! We will definitely be back!!

We very much enjoyed our stay!!! Excellent price for full hookups!!! Beautiful sunsets every evening. Plenty of room to walk the dogs. Nice soft grass with no stickers. Plenty of space between sites. This is now marked as one our favorite places to stay when we visit our grand babies.

We we're not there during the day but the accommodations were nice. Need a few trees for shade. It was so peaceful, we usually camp at the Corp campground so the peace was exceptional. Loved it. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.
