Tent camping here was a blast for the whole family. My kids loved exploring the hillside and my dogs enjoyed the patio area. The Shiloh tent was clean and comfortable and easily fit all five of us plus our two dogs at night. Kelli and Darrell were fantastic hosts who provided us with everything we needed. Plus their cafe was very welcoming had a great selection of food and drinks. The shopping area is a very short drive away, as was the animal refuge and mount Scott- all fun places to go with lots to do. I highly recommend this camp site for anyone visiting the Medicine Park area.

pretty much to what i expected. The view, the comforts of home and clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The food was awesome, breakfast and convivences. The only thing that i would suggest is a small water heater for the shower lol.

The most friendly and accommodating hosts! Great location for a base to explore the Wildlife Refuge from. Hipcamp facilities share property with the hosts’ organic cafe. The cafe was amazing, allowed dog, had plenty of vegan options, and accommodated my food intolerances. The bed in the Shilo tent was comfortable with the softest sheets. My dog felt most welcome. Proximity to highway and cafe limits privacy a bit. Unless cafe is open, bathroom/shower facilities don’t have plumbed running water. Outdoor shower was a unique experience. The military activity during the night was disturbing (sounds of aircraft, bombing and artillery fire started after dark and was on and off until 2am). People staying in this area should be prepared for the chance of these disturbances, though the hosts said the activity was unusual for that late at night.

We loved our time at Hippie Hill. We have been going to the restaurant anytime we were in Lawton and finally had a weekend to stay overnight. Check in was easy and the hosts were incredible and accommodating. Even with the multiple events going on in Medicine Park, we were able to have a quiet morning and enjoy the area.

First, the hosts were awesome, the food and drink in the café was excellent, and we would return for that again. However, this campground is not for the campers that want to be secluded and/or close to nature for their stay. The Hipcamp pics don’t indicate that you are right off the side of the highway, complete with night time truck noise, and a very a steep climb up the hill with all your gear. We stayed in one of the wall tents, and our kids in the general campground further up the hill, and there were only a few level camp sites for the kids to pitch. While out of anyone’s control, we had windy weather, and since one cannot completely close the wall tent window flaps, they blow and slap all night long. The second night was so crazy windy and loud, that we thought the wall tent was going to become airborne, and we left a night early with no offer for a refund from the hosts (except for a refund on the firewood that we couldn’t burn due to the burn ban). Restrooms are adequate, but needed more attention. The outdoor shower took some time to learn to operate, and water supply was not kept full. This campground is really suited for those that are passing through and on the go, and just need a place to stop.

This was the perfect spot. My wife doesn't like to SUV camp so we did this so she could come along. She loved it! Darrell was a great host. The tent was clean and very accommodating. The bed was exactly what my wife wanted. The cafe has great food and open when we needed it. Great spot to explore Medicine Park and the Wichita Mts. We'll be back soon.

"Selah" -Wall Tent
The hosts were absolutely outstanding, the food at the restaurant was excellent. This camp location is great for the traveller that is passing through for a night or coming to a festival, but not for those that are looking for a quiet place to camp and convene with nature. It's hard to discern from the photos that the camping area is a steep climb up to the sites, and that it is located right on the highway near town, complete with truck and traffic noise. We had incredibly windy weather and the glamping tent's flaps do not close (the velcro wouldn't "seal" to the closed position), so it was loud, cold and breezy inside. We'd go again for the hosts, the hospitality and the food, but not for the camping location itself.

"Zion" - Wall Tent
The location was in a perfect spot. So close to everything and the Zion tent looks straight at Mount Scott, which was a gorgeous view. We had breakfast at Healthy Hippie Cafe right a min or two walk from the site. Healthy and great food! Recommend to anyone.

Had a good time the bed was comfy it, we went on the hike which was good hike but not too long the kids enjoyed it. We heard coyotes at night.

The Hippie Hill campsite was centrally located and had a lovely view of Mount Scott. There were really only two sites in the primitive camping area that were level enough to place our tent. Luckily we had our choice. There is a steep walk from your car to the sites so be prepared to trek your stuff! A sign asked for no food or drink in the camping area. This was the biggest surprise to us. We asked the owner and they said we could eat but to do so discreetly, hard to accomplish while being outside on an open hill side. That combined with not having a water tap made us not too pleased with our stay. Nice people but they should definitely make it clear in the description about the no food or water spigot.

Tent camping on Kelli's land was a fantastic experience! The location could not have been more perfect - close enough to town to be able to have the convenience of shopping and restaurants if wanted and far enough away to feel like you are getting the full camping experience. The proximity to the Wildlife Refuge with its many trails, gorgeous views and wildlife is a definite perk. Kelli and her husband were amazing hosts. Highly recommend!

Comfortable, has everything you need. Great hosts and beautiful area. The Happy Hippie cafe run by the hosts is a believably great Vegan destination. I had such a great dinner there. Highly recommend staying in one of the tents….very sweet.

We had a really good time staying at the Selah tent! Site was well situated and the tent was comfy and artistically designed. The nearby diner had exceptional food and the owner was incredibly welcoming. We stopped by the tavern down the road and had a great time with the locals. Highly recommend this for your next glamping adventure!

The food, the staff, and general vibe of the joint, especially from the folks that frequent are absolutely awesome!
Probably would’ve taken me a little longer to find this place, but thanks to this app, I was able to land on this gem of a location!
Highly recommend a visit, stay a while, take a hike/bike around the hills, a walk through town, share stories over a campfire, drinks and tacos.
Funny, because albeit rain wasn’t in the forecast, it came around 2a, forcing me off the hill, and into my car for the evening lol

Accommodations were very nice, however the tents are right off the highway. In addition, you can not have a private fire and the designated fire pit is in the parking lot of a vegan restaurant.

"Shiloh" - Wall Tent
The facilities were off-the-charts lovely. The location was beautiful, and we loved seeing the stars and even spotted a shooting star! Just a heads-up for some guests that may be affected that Ft. Sill had artillery testing all night long. Obviously the host has no control of this! The bombing and shelling was a bit scary for my younger child, but it was OK. Overall, our stay was great.

Hosts are awesome and very accommodating! Outside plugs for extensions cords (we forgot our power station), great view of the stars. Not a vegan but the vegan restaurant is a must try! Breakfast, coffee, lunch, and dinner. Margaritas on special. City is on a burn ban no so campfire, but there is a community fire pit, no campfires by the campsites

Glamping at hippie hill was amazing! Spent a few days here for my boyfriend and I’s anniversary. The hosts were so kind and accommodating, and the tent was very nice. The view was absolutely gorgeous as well! The only small setback for us was the sound the near by Fort Sill’s training noises throughout the night. I don’t believe this occurs year round, but still wanted to include it here. It was a bit difficult for me to overcome that as a very light sleeper, but not too bad. Either way this was an amazing site!
