Whether you're looking for a quiet campsite or a weekend under the stars, you'll find plenty of room to breathe. Spend your evenings gathered around a campfire beneath a sky full of stars. Our spacious campsites are thoughtfully placed to provide privacy and a true back-to-nature experience. Explore the property's wooded trails, relax in a hammock with a good book, or simply enjoy the calm that comes with being surrounded by forest. With minimal light pollution, Gobble & Grove is also a great place for stargazing and listening to the sounds of the outdoors after sunset. Explore Gobble & Grove Looking for a little more adventure? This option gives you the freedom to choose your own primitive campsite anywhere within our 20-acre property. Whether you prefer an open grassy clearing, a quiet spot beneath the trees, or a secluded corner of the woods, you're welcome to find the place that feels just right. Our property features rolling terrain, mature hardwoods, open meadows, and abundant wildlife. Deer and wild turkeys are frequent visitors, and mornings often begin with the sounds of neighboring farm animals, including cows, chickens, and roosters, creating a true country camping experience. This is a primitive camping experience, ideal for campers who enjoy self-sufficient outdoor adventures. There are currently 2 designated campsites without hookups, electricity, or running water. We ask that backcountry campers camp a reasonable distance (at least 100ft) away from other campsites. Please camp responsibly, respect the land, and leave your chosen campsite as you found it. Parking: Standard parking is available near the entrance to the property. Depending on your campsite selection, you may need to carry your gear a short distance. Guests with high-clearance 4x4 vehicles may be able to access additional areas when conditions allow, but low-clearance vehicles should remain in the designated parking area. Please avoid camping too close to other guests staying in our designated campsites to help everyone enjoy their privacy. If you'd like recommendations on the best spots based on your group size or camping style, we're happy to point you in the right direction. Please stay within the property lines. The app Regrid is free to use and can show you the lines as needed. The host lives on the property and is available if you need assistance while still giving guests plenty of space to enjoy the outdoors. The campsite features a fire ring for cooking meals, roasting marshmallows, or simply unwinding after a day of exploring. With ample room for multiple tents and up to four guests, Campers Clearing provides a balance of convenience, comfort, and privacy. Wake up to the sounds of the countryside. Our property borders a neighboring farm where mornings often begin with cows in the pasture, roosters crowing, chickens clucking, and the occasional gobble of turkeys. It's a peaceful reminder that you've traded traffic and city noise for fresh air and rural charm. Wildlife is common as well, and deer and wild turkeys are frequently seen throughout the property. Site Features: * Primitive tent camping * Spacious grassy campsite * Fire ring * Pet-friendly * Great for stargazing * Easy access from the designated parking area This is a primitive campsite, so there are no hookups, electricity, or running water at the site. Please come prepared to pack in what you need and pack out everything you bring to help keep the property beautiful for future guests. Parking: Standard parking is available in the designated parking area near the fire pit at the top of the hill. From there, it's a short walk to Campers Clearing. Guests with high-clearance 4x4 vehicles may be able to drive directly to the campsite when conditions allow. Please do not attempt to drive to the campsite in low-clearance vehicles, as the terrain can be uneven and muddy after rain. The host lives on the property and is available if needed while giving guests plenty of privacy. Whether you're looking for a peaceful overnight stay or a weekend escape, Campers Clearing offers a simple, relaxing camping experience just outside Norman, Oklahoma, and only a short 10- minute drive from Lake Thunderbird.

If you're looking to unplug, enjoy the sounds of nature, and have a little extra privacy, this site is for you. A short 2-minute walk from parking leads you into your own quiet woodland retreat. The campsite features a fire ring for relaxing evenings around the campfire and a level area for pitching your tent. Towering oaks and surrounding forest create a peaceful setting where you'll often hear birdsong and may even spot wild deer or turkeys that frequent the property. Wake up to the sounds of the countryside. Hidden Hollow borders a neighboring farm where the morning often begins with the family cow lowing in the pasture, roosters crowing, chickens clucking, and the occasional gobble of turkeys. Rather than traffic and sirens, your morning soundtrack is the peaceful rhythm of country life. The host lives on the property and is available if you need assistance during your stay, while still respecting your privacy. The campsites are located away from the home, allowing guests to enjoy a peaceful and secluded camping experience. Parking: Unless you're driving a high-clearance 4x4 vehicle, please plan to park in the designated parking area at the top of the hill near the fire pit. Hidden Hollow is just a short walk from the parking area. This helps protect the property and prevents vehicles from getting stuck or damaged. Whether you're reading in a hammock, roasting marshmallows under the stars, or simply enjoying the stillness of the woods, Hidden Hollow offers a chance to slow down and reconnect with nature. Welcome to our Scamp Camper at Gobble & Grove! Our Scamp Camper is a blast-to-the-past experience. This 2007 model has been maintained in pristine condition with a functioning fridge, heater, A/C, sink and indoor and outdoor lights. The dining table converts into a bed with the cushions becoming the mattress. The A/C is nice and cold and so is the fridge. Please bring your own pillows and blankets for extra comfort. Wake up to the sounds of the countryside. Our property borders a neighboring farm where mornings often begin with cows in the pasture, roosters crowing, chickens clucking, and the occasional gobble of turkeys. It's a peaceful reminder that you've traded traffic and city noise for fresh air and rural charm. Wildlife is common as well, and deer and wild turkeys are frequently seen throughout the property. Site Features: * Scamp Camping * Spacious grassy campsite * Fire Pit * Pet-friendly * Great for stargazing * Easy access from the designated parking area This is a Scamp Camper but certain features are currently not available to guests. That would include the toilet and shower and the stove inside the camper. There are no connections to those features at this time. Please come prepared to pack in what you need and pack out everything you bring to help keep the property beautiful for future guests.
