Dozens of species have made their homes here, delighting our guests with their symphony of sounds and dazzling natural beauty. Observing the natural behaviors of the wildlife here at the ranch allows us to live closer to the natural world and His amazing creation.

Great host, great location. Very quiet with lots of room. Loved the dogs. It was a great experience. I’ll stay there again whenever I’m traveling through Oklahoma.

Easy come and go spot for road trip

Dakota Star Ranch provided a wide open space to pull our trailer onto during a holiday weekend that had state parks completely booked. We just needed a one night stopping spot on our way home. Shannon communicated clearly leading up to our arrival. She answered questions quickly and was so welcoming. Beautiful land and mowed path to walk around, although it was hot and buggy so we didn’t walk far. There aren’t designated spaces that we saw, but we were the only campers there and drove until our rig was level. Super friendly hosts and ranch dogs.

Great spot, hosts were very friendly and accommodating as I wanted to sleep in my car and did not have an RV. Super helpful hosts got me placed in a good area so the impending storm wouldn’t be an issue with the soft, wet pasture. Very safe and secure!

Just What We Needed!
Lush Beauty in Eastern Oklahoma
What a lovely, relaxing and liberating stay. Brian & Shannon are the best of hosts - so accommodating and kind. Their property was manicured and we and our “Jasper” pup loved walking the many acres to a quaint medium size pond. But the best part was that you could look for miles off into the distance to calming farmland and could hear a pin drop; meaning No Loud Noises of any kind. Just the wonderful sound of sheep, chickens, coyotes at night and the distant sound of their beautiful Great Pyrenees barking; just doing their job! So Enjoyed Our Stay … Congratulations Brian & Shannon - we will be back and plan on telling our friends who travel the I-40 often of you both and the product that you offer. Oh, and Thank You for your gift shop - loved the eggs!!!!!!! ❤️
