Great site! Right on the pond with a peaceful view of the caretakers property across the water. Simply gorgeous. Good fishing! We caught 12 bluegill. Caretaker is very welcoming and helpful. Bathroom facilities are within a barn on the property. Nicely maintained and clean. Would highly recommend.
A couple of things to note:
There is a road behind the campsite with active traffic. During the day, the traffic can be easily heard. Didn't bother us much.
To get to the campsite, there is a significant bump to drive over which really is best for high clearance vehicles.
This site is about a 5 minute walk to the bathrooms.

We've stayed at James's campsite 3 times now and it was a great place to tent camp everytime! It is a peaceful, fun spot to stay! The bathrooms are convient and clean.

Very nice private farm camping. Primitive, no water or electric hook ups. Roads around the farm are narrow, rutted, with low hanging branches. That being said, it is a beautiful farm, well kept, very friendly amicable hosts. I enjoyed the privacy, beautiful landscape, and playing in the lake with my dogs. I would definitely recommend this camping site and I am planning on going back in August.

We had a great time at site #8 the pines! James was very kind and welcoming. He shared all the ways we were able to enjoy his property; hiking in the woods, fishing, canoeing and hanging out on the dock. I would consider this site semi private. You are very close to the home and at the heart of the property so other campers will be passing by. This site is closest to the barn with the bathrooms which was convenient. We enjoyed a beautiful sunset over the lake and a peaceful night. I would recommend camping at Pleasant Valley!

The farm was beautiful, peaceful, and serene. It was nice listening to the babbling brook near the Creekside #2 site as we sat around the fire visiting. Jim was an excellent host. The bathrooms were clean, and it was nice having a changing room available. We'll definitely be back!

Wonderful piece of land with a spectacular lake and trails, beautiful views throughout the property and a great location to get to Mohican and any other locations that might grab your interest. The host was friendly as can be and the facilities were clean and accessible.

Beautiful spot and wonderful hosts! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The grounds were beautiful and luckily the weather was nice, too! The restrooms in the barn were rustic and spotlessly maintained. We’d definitely recommend and plan on a return trip.

Had a very enjoyable experience at our campsite ! Jim was an excellent host and takes care of his guest. You can tell he takes pride in his land. We stayed at creekside site 1 and waking up to the sound of the creek was spectacular. Lots of wildlife here too! I would highly recommend a stay here.

We had a wonderful time camping! The facilities were very well maintained, and the natural surroundings were absolutely beautiful. The restrooms were also impressively clean, which made the whole stay even more comfortable. What really made the experience even better was James’s kindness and hospitality — he went out of his way to make everyone feel welcome. We truly appreciated everything and would love to back again!

This was such a cute place to camp! We stayed at one of the creekside sites. It was close to the nice bathrooms, plenty of space, quiet, and beautiful views of fields, lake, and old farmhouse. The creek was the perfect white noise needed to fall asleep and wake up to!

The land was beautiful!! We enjoyed the pond and the creek on the property, and it was great that our dog was able run around off-leash. Jim and Kathy were fantastic hosts and just the sweetest people you could meet. We originally reserved spot 8 but it was pretty close to the driveway and the house so we asked if we could move to spot 14 for a little more seclusion and they were very accommodating. We’ll definitely be back!

Site 6 was amazing! Right on the shore of the lake provided great sunset views. Jim takes great care of his land and it shows. We had a very peaceful time.

Jim's place was super cute! Our site (site #8) was really close to the home, but we still felt like we had privacy. We also felt super welcome to explore the land and come and go as we pleased. We stayed on a cold night and have a fully sheltered restroom so close to the site was lovely. We'd definitely stay here again!

Incredibly beautiful property. Very friendly and accommodating host. We will definitely be back! #6 site was very private and right on the lake. Beautiful trail around the rest of the campsites to take a walk. Can’t recommend enough!

This farm is a beautiful place to unwind and just enjoy the peace and quiet. James was a very kind and excellent host. As well as a really nice conversationalist to “chew the fat” with. The pond is absolutely beautiful. Nice trails to walk thru in the woods and if you have a well behaved puppy they can run free. Our dog loved it there. It’s also a few miles down the road from Malabar Farms, a must visit farm. We stayed on site 8 with our 20’ travel trailer. I would recommend site 1,6, 9. for bigger trailers. Small Overland trailers will have no problem with any of the camp sites. Some of the sites were a tight squeeze to get to on the drive leading uphill to the sites. Site 8 I probably should’ve never been on. Lol However, I was careful but did put a mild scratch on the trailer from a tree limb squeezing up the drive to the spot, it will bluff out. Then you have to go down a paster at a 3% grade before you can settle in. Site 8 is a nice site with big pines. Great for tents and hammocks because of the many trees.

Such a beautiful and private location! Bathrooms that weren’t far and very clean. My boyfriend enjoyed fishing in the pond, Was a gorgeous view and wonderful place for relaxation:)
