Established in 1965 by Leo "Sunny" Schmitz, a dedicated farmer and father of seven, this campground was born from a vision to create a welcoming space where families could bond and make lasting memories. Today, that vision continues to thrive, lovingly maintained by Sunny's family. Spanning 115 acres of lush wooded terrain, our campground features 800 spacious campsites, ensuring privacy and comfort for all visitors. With five picturesque lakes, guests can enjoy swimming, fishing, and picnicking in serene surroundings. In addition to our beautiful natural features, we offer a variety of outdoor activities that cater to all ages.
