If you are here in the spring through fall, you can expect a "sea of green". We are surrounded by corn, soybeans or some other mid-west crop. It's quiet out here, so enjoy the sunshine. We put out a large garden each year and we'd love your help.
Right now, we can only offer primitive camping. Our electric is not operational.
If there has been a lot of rain (April and part of May), then the ground is too soft for camping. However, if you just need a spot we have some gravel driveways where you can set up.
There are lots of places to visit while you are here. Two large lakes with free public access are about 40 miles away - Lake Loramie and Grand Lake St. Marys. Lake Loramie has a public beach, bicycle rentals, canoes and kayaks. There is a great restaurant across from the State Park.If you are here in the spring through fall, you can expect a "sea of green". We are surrounded by corn, soybeans or some other mid-west crop.
