Property is located about 2 miles from the small town of Oak Hill. The area has a Welsh heritage and offers a Welsh museum. Once a prominent brick manufacturing area. Today the area is home to a decent size Old Order Amish community. You will see horses and buggies daily and there are several Amish businesses open to the public including a huge greenhouse, a hardware and bait & tackle store and a bulk food store to name a few. Our area is also a popular stop for hunters of all types since we are close to Wayne National Forest and Cooper Hollow Wildlife area. We need to mention that pets are welcome but need to be on leash or contained at all times due to horses and other animals that are nearby. There is also 4 dogs who live on the property and are always on patrol :) They keep the monsters away but are welcoming to our guests! We look forward to seeing you soon!

Quiet and enjoyable. Couldn't have gotten any more peaceful than this. Neighbors down the hill are Amish so you can hear the children laughing as they play and beautiful horses. Great country to drive around and explore just be safe with the buggies.
It was just like the pictures. Quiet and peaceful. We loved it. We had water, power and sewer. Plenty of room. Phil was great, he checked on us and was available if we needed him. It was wonderful.
We stopped here for 2 nights on our way from Michigan to Virginia. We were originally thinking about boondocking, but we haven't quite got the hang of it yet. Scenic Hills ended up being the perfect opportunity. We still had full hookups, but we also had peace and seclusion we were looking for with boondocking. The view from up on the hill is beautiful and the hosts were so friendly and accommodating. GPS took us on some crazy tight (unnecessary) backroads, that we had no business being on with our 45ft 5th wheel, so double check your directions if you stay here!
