We have a kayak and canoe livery called Portage River Paddling Company. We are nestled on 94 acres on the Portage River. You will be camping in the back of our property along the Portage River. You will be just a 5 minute walk from renting kayaks, canoes, stand-up paddle boards, gem mining, axe throwing, cornhole, giant Jenga, goats, Gizmo the 160 pound Sulcata Tortoise, Jasper the iguana and more!

A great place
To describe the campsite beautiful, peaceful, simple, and fun. To describe the owners, fantastic people! I absolutely recommend a stay here for anything, from a simple camp night to a day full of fun and adventure.

Big sites, pretty secluded with some sites having tall grass around them. Right up against the river which was a lovely site of an evening.

Awesome All Around
Where to start? I loved everything about this place. Great hosts, amazing location on the water, well maintained and spacious sites, clean privy, sweet goats/ducks/turtles, beautiful flowers, water activities, fresh eggs, fire wood, wood carvings….I wish I could have stayed for much longer! Thank you so much!

Site 3 - Camping Kayak & Canoe
We loved camping here! We met the host and his family upon checking in and they were very responsive providing us with all the firewood we needed. With the kayaking and paddle boarding rental close by, so much to do! Camping site was private and close to water. This is a beautiful way to enjoy Port Clinton.
