Our sites offer serenity and seclusion where you can feel free to be human and one with nature. On our property you will see open meadows where our horses graze amongst the wildflowers, woods abundant with wildlife, miles of hiking trails that are marked and maintained for your exploration. Stunning sunsets, peaceful sunrises, and unforgettable nights of stargazing. We also have an orchard, backyard vineyard and thriving garden areas that help us all live closer to the land. We offer two unique areas to set-up camp. The Cornerstone camp site is a wooded grove with a beautiful tree canopy offering shade and a glorious sense of well-being while living in the woods. The Hill Top site offers a panoramic view of our amazing natural landscapes from quiet dells to swelling hills. An awe-inspiring site in the autumn months taking in the colors as far as the eye can see. Need a lift to your campsite? We'd be happy to give you (and your gear) a ride right to your campsite so you don't have to worry about carrying everything in. Just let us know when you'll be arriving. You'll notice that our property is also home to horses. They live and graze freely on the land, so from time to time, they may wander near your campsite. The horses are gentle and friendly, and many guest enjoy their quiet company during their stay. We do ask that you admire them respectfully. Please don't feed them, and give them space if they get curious and come close. They're part of the land's charm, and we're happy to share their presence with you. Old School Farm and Workshop is a 40-acre modern homestead located in the heart of Ohio's Appalachian Country. We are 10 miles from Salt Fork State Park, Ohio's largest State Park and Ohio's Bigfoot Capital. While there, visit the new Eco-Discovery Center. Boating? We are only 6 miles to the Morning Glory boat ramp. Take your kayak on the Tuscarawas River, Simonds-Heller Park is only 13 miles away. Ride bike on the Great Guernsey Trail or check out their self-serve Kayak rental kiosk. We are at the back door of Ohio's Amish Country, and only a 45 minute drive to one of the largest conservation centers in the world, The Wilds. Cornerstone Camp

The Cornerstone campsite is a secluded wooded grove with a beautiful tree canopy offering shade and a glorious sense of well-being while living in the woods. We call it the Cornerstone because it is a very special corner of our property with amazing outcrops of bedrock to explore. There is a 12'x16' tent platform/deck, stone firepit and cooking grate as well as a picnic table. Guests have access to communal toilet and jugs of potable water will be available.

Hill Top Camp

The Hill Top campsite offers a panoramic view of our amazing natural landscapes from quiet dells to swelling hills. An awe-inspiring site to see in the autumn months taking in the colors as far as the eye can see. This campsite is a flat and grassy space, a stone firepit with cooking grate and benches for seating. A pergola for shade and table. Guests can set up camp anywhere in the mowed area. Guests will have access to communal toilet and jugs of potable water will be available. If you have a camper please know - This site can ONLY accommodate Off-Road Trailer, Truck Camper, Military/Utility, Pop-up or Teardrop Campers pulled with 4x4, 4x4 Truck Tent Camping, and Moto Camping.

Not just for camping!

Cornerstone Camp
What a magical place!!! My business partner and I host reiki & sound Healing events and this property was the perfect location for our participants to hike, relax, and receive! The hiking trails are immaculately maintained and were the perfect grounding experience for our event. We utilized the tent platform at cornerstone camp as a stage in which to hold our participants and ourselves for the reiki and sound Healing session. It was an absolutely beautiful experience!

Kate and Dave are the best! They are very thoughtful and friendly hosts, and clearly put a lot of work into this hipcamp. We were excited to share the property with a few horses and when we arrived we were greeted by a few- they were the best greeting committee! Dave and Kate took us back to our site on a UTV through sunny prairie land while Karma (their dog) happily ran behind! The UTV was definitely a nice touch since it could carry our camp supplies down to the wooded site for us (which we absolutely loved staying at- perfect for hammock and tent camping). The other site on the hill top would be a great destination campsite for adventure motorcyclists like my husband and is suited very well for large groups- we're planning to return on our motorcycles next time we stay here! We highly recommend this hipcamp property to any type of camper who wants to get away and have a very thoughtful, peaceful, and carefree retreat away from home- thank you again Dave and Kate! - Sarah + Keith
