Visiting the Hocking Hills ? No interest in crowded campgrounds ? you have found 75 acres mostly wooded with trails right at the start of the Hocking Hills. (easy access from 33 and to Logan) There are various places around the property to pitch a tent. There are also options for RV parking with no hookups as well as a site with 30/50 amp. I can transport you and your gear to the remote sites. ATV's are also welcome on the property. Firewood will be provided for free and in abundant amount. The site on top of the hill is a very secluded and mowed crest of hill surrounded by dogwood trees and the invasive Autumn Olive bushes. The site above the rxrwinery.com is a secluded, mowed clearing in the mature woods. There are also 2 sites in the valley that allow you to be near your vehicle. While on my property, clothing is optional but respect for other campers is expected. If you are traveling with an RV, the Sunny Rest location is the best with campfire. This is a valley and may get soft after heavy rain. Please keep wheels near the lane if there's any question to the ground conditions and maneuvering your vehicle, please contact me. Apple product GPS will not get you to this location, use the pin on Google Maps.

This site is in the valley, in the coolest spot available. A peaceful spot between the creek and a beautiful rock formation. Parking is close to the fire pit. (firewood is provided) This can be considered secluded past your parking spot. High Expectation of Privacy can be expected at the site. Nudity is allowed in the valley and on the trails, please be respectful of other guests if encountered on the trails. Covering may be needed for traversing from the site to the trailhead, if the Read all rules, leave no trace. This site is listed for 2 adults for the base price. If you have additional guests, they must be accounted for. At this site, my dogs may visit on occasion.

This listing is for primitive camping, atop a hill amongst Dogwood trees and Autumn Olive bushes, 100 ft elevation higher than the valley. It is located in the far southwest corner of my 75 acre property. I can transport you and your gear via garden tractor and trailer to and from the site. Parking remains in the valley. Ground conditions could make the climb an issue, even with my tractor, so a cancellation may be warranted due to weather. yes it is steep. If you have an interest in going to the rxrwinery.com , I would be happy to transport up to 4 people to and from, via the tractor and trailer ride through the trails. ATV's/carts are welcome to bring and ride the trails or transportation to and from site. Beings its location, you will not have any other campers coming into your secluded area. You have "Full expectation of privacy" making this the most ideal site for nudity. If you intend to go walk the trails naked, please carry a covering for passing by other camps if they are occupied.

This listing is for primitive camping, at the north end of my property above the Rockbridge Winery. See rxrwinery.com for details. I can transport you and your gear via garden tractor and trailer to the site. ATV's/carts are welcome to bring and ride the trails or transportation to and from site. Please select this site for the purpose of being a customer at the winery which is just a short walk down a hill. (except for their closed days) The mowed area in the woods, is provided with abundant amount of firewood for your campfire pleasures. This location is also secluded deep in the woods, When using this site, your trail can be isolated with a DND notice if need be, making this a naked friendly location. Others will use an alternate path to go to the Winery if need be or otherwise hiking the trails.

This is the first campfire site nearest the road and out in open sky that allows a fire and is provided with abundant firewood. This site is right along the driveway, and the entrance to Dogwood Heaven Hilltop site, so if there is a booking up there, I will need access of 6' to pass by. ATV's/carts are welcome to bring and ride the trails or transportation to the winery. I do offer rides to the rxrwinery.com This is in the valley so if the ground is soft, keep vehicles and RV's near the lane. If there is any question about ground conditions or turning around, please contact me for assistance. Nudity is allowed at this site, but respect other guests especially those on the hill that pass through your site to get to their car. Likewise, they are supposed to respect your space as they pass by.

A hard, level grassy spot overtop the old roadbed, parallel to State Route 180. This is useful for a shorter type camper or RV or just a place for car sleeping or even pitching a tent. This site is for ONE night only. No fire pit will be allowed at this site. This site is in public view, no nudity outside of your enclosure. Currently does not have electric, but generator is allowed.

This is the main site with electric and wifi, (the original site since 2019). Many groups have enjoyed this site, however, it is amongst my personal area and unsightly stationary objects in view. There is a lot of space for your group to spread out, enjoy the vast flat mowed area for yard games, nice mix of shade and sun. The well established firepit includes free firewood provided, and has a keyhole grate to cook with cast iron on. There is an outdoor kitchen deck with a frig/freezer that you may use. (camping with ice cream ?) This site is ideal for a large group who needs electric, and wants to set up a fancy lighted camp like you would at a festival. Many properly spaced trees for hanging hammocks. If you bring acoustic campfire music to the site, and I am able to join in with my Djembe drum, I will refund you significantly based on how satisfying the music experience turns out to be. While the property is clothing optional, other guests passing by in view are supposed to be respectful and covered until they reach the trails in the woods.

Sunny Rest Skyview
The Sunny Rest Skyview was nice and spacious. Jim was a great host! He offered free firewood, and even brough more the second day. We didn't wander around the property too much, but it was nice and peaceful. The dogs came to visit and were very friendly :D During the day we could hear the traffic on route 33, but in the evening it died down and got pretty quiet. This campsite is right on the access road, so everyone else in-and-out passed right by us, but it wasn't a big deal. All in it was a great experience and I definitely recommend!

This place was beautiful and perfect for a quick spur of the moment camping trip. Very affordable, fire wood was there and waiting and we had a great site to set up camp.

Be prepared to hear passing traffic, but it’s a nice value-delivering option for a roadside rest, as touted. A good stopover option to give a traveler a little time to explore beautiful Hocking Hills

I loved my stay at Jim’s place! The hilltop site is great! Lots of firewood, well maintained, away from the other campers and Jim is really kind. We really enjoyed our ride over to the winery. Jim has beautiful property.

Jim was an awesome host and land steward. He was super responsive and didn’t mind that I came in a little late. Didn’t have time to explore too much but there are trails on the property and it’s close to plenty of other spots. Worth a quick stop if you’re passing through!

This place was perfect!! Jim was a great host. Secluded but yet very close to the winery. Caramel apple wine slushes were awesome!! We left a little early bc my daughter’s allergies were acting up. Will definitely come back.

This is my second time staying in the property. Jim is always there to great you when you first get there, take you to where your site is. He gives good recommendations on spots around and has trails on his property. The site was nice and secluded, it’s a great additive the end of the site butts up against the creek. Plenty of firewood, really cool rock formation at the site. Would recommend and will stay again. Thanks Jim!

The site was clean and plenty of firewood. Jim was great again, He pulled our little popup to the site while we went to grab a bite to eat. He then gave us a ride up and on saturday he even took us to look at one of the other sites. Go book this hipcamp and enjoy nature nude and hike the trails nude.

What a beautiful place to camp I believe we had the diamond in the rough biggest open spot between the Rock mountain in a creek even though the water was low it was a beautiful place for the price. Our host Jim was amazing very friendly very accommodating rode us up to the winery that was beautiful as well The free firewood was an amazing touch I will definitely definitely be back 😊😊

My wife and I loved camping at Jim’s. It was very private even with the very nice winery at the bottom of the hill. We were supplied with more wood than we needed and had a fire all weekend. Site was spacious. The tractor ride to our camper was a cool touch. Good spot for base camp, to do all the hocking hills hikes and things or to just hang out and be free.

We had a great time at Fern Valley Rock campsite. Jim was great and had our fire started when we arrived. We give this site 2 thumbs up. We slept well and the site was secluded and we had plenty of privacy. We will post our visit on YouTube at Get Livin Outdoors.

Camping here was great! The winery was a SUPER short (but hilly) walk, and they had great vibes, a great food truck, and fun wine flights! Jim was very kind and accommodating, and the Logan area had a great coffee shop just up the road. Bonus points for Jim’s dog and the winery cat we saw :)

The host was phenomenally communicative! The spot was as described and incredibly clean, I stayed at the spot directly behind the roadside spot as the host let me as nobody else was scheduled there. Everything was wonderful and if I’m ever in the area again I will surely be back!

We sooo loved tent camping in this beautiful valley... we were soo secluded we were comfy all natural !!! Only wished we stayed longer!! Didn't have a problem with mosquitos.. or poison ivy.. we will definitely be back.

If you wanna stay in your Hocking Hills, it’s a very nice location very central location. His sites are separated nicely. The one I had was right by the road. It was a little noisy, but not terrible. He was very helpful. Thanks.

Really convenient spot but still private! We arrived in the dark and were still able to follow the directions to the site. Plenty of firewood available. Jim even let us know about the peak hours for viewing the meteor shower that night! Wish we could’ve spent a little more time here.
