Monday Creek
This is a great place if you're looking to sleep for a night near Hocking Hills. However, I wouldn't recommend. There was no water in the tanks (I didn't know how to turn on the water at the city meter as I live in the country and have a well), the kids found chip crumbs in their bed, and there was dirty clothes in the closet. No silverware or pots/pans to cook, and no propane for stove/cooktop. Absolutely zero cell service (except for satellite) to get ahold of the owners for help. On our second night I figured out how to turn on the water but the water heater was broken so we had freezing showers for three days. Owner did offer to let me stay an extra night but with no hot water and my work schedule it wasn't worth it.

We had no check in instructions to access the rv and didn’t hear back from our host until an hour and a half after arriving. We arrived well before sunset, but didn’t hear back until it was dark making camp set up with a toddler a true nightmare. She said she had no service but I felt as though those instructions should’ve been sent to us well in advance. Additionally the electrical and water wasn’t hooked up so we had no electricity or water making this even experience way more primitive then I was expecting. Considering you can get a bad hotel for the same price I would’ve opted for that if I had known what it was going to be like. The host however did recover and sent us a refund so I can’t complain too much. Wouldn’t do it again though.

I loved camping in Melissa's brand new RV! The land here is absolutely gorgeous. I was able to make my own campfire in the mountains under a night sky full of bright stars surrounded by trees and lightning bugs (and mosquitos). Melissa is very kind and thoughtful. I will not hesitate to camp here, at Melissa's Monday Creek again! Next time, I will bring my fishing pole for the fishing spot! Zero issues on this site. 1 million stars for Melissa!!
