This HipCamp was the best I have stayed at . Michelle was very kind and even offered to help me make my video. I definitely recommend Michelle's HipCamp. I interacted with her horses and had an overall great time while there .

Such a beautiful site and wonderful host, quick to respond, and very gracious! The cabin and barn were perfect for a nights rest and secluded and we were able to just enjoy being outside!

Michelle's Cozy Cabin
We enjoyed our short stay greatly! Directions were clear and easy to follow, details were thought through and things were labeled/listed out very well. We loved the friendly horses and the walk around the lovely property. Would recomend!

What a wonderful experience! This was such a relaxing and peaceful getaway experience, and the horses were so sweet! I highly recommend staying at Michelle’s ranch.

Just out of town on a barely traveled stony/ dirt road. Has beautiful horses in their fenced field. No running water but two huge jugs with a pump on top was convenient. Had electric cook top, Keurig with k cups, coffee pot, several different teas, microwave, fridge with a freezer. Incinerator toilet worked. Toilet seat was rather high. Heat worked well. Beautiful area would recommend for a single person or a couple and we would stay again.

Her barn room was absolutely what we needed for a needed overnight. Just as described. We enjoyed the quiet, peaceful surroundings. The occasional clip of a horse shoe in the barn was lovely 😍
I only met Michelle briefly, but she was kind and inviting, offering anything we needed. We didn't need a thing beyond what was provided (except a fork for a salad we ordered 😂😂😂)

This is our second time staying here, and we plan to go back again and again. It's a cozy little cabin with all the basic needs for a good price. My favorite part is always the horses who walk right up to you when you're at the fence as they know you'll be giving them horse biscuits (Michele leaves them for you to give to them). A perfect weekend getaway!

This barn was a perfect little weekend getaway for me, as a young professional who struggles with work boundaries. I felt like I was sleeping in a cozy little nest surrounded by birds and barn smells. I went outside to watch the sunrise, walked the long farm roads at sunset, and was able to hike a few nearby trails in PA. The horses were very friendly and gentle. Michelle was very sweet and set me up to use the sauna and shower. She was responsive and hospitable. I would definitely recommend staying at her property.

Michelle's Cozy Cabin
As usual, an amazing stay! So warm, cozy, clean and quiet. This is my second year coming for my birthday. Michelle left me a card and some donuts and it was so sweet and so touching!!! It's stuff like that which keeps me coming back.

It was our second time at Michelle's cabin and she was, once again, very hospitable. The cabin is still a cozy and warm respite from cold winters. We pet the horses, used the sauna, and hiked around. Definitely want to come back again.

I stayed in Michelle's Barn and Cabin on and out and back trip back to my hometown in December. Both places are heated, comfortable and a bit like a campsite with excellent amenities and extras! You can't understate the value of a heated outhouse, mini fridge and coffee pot for an overnight stay. Oh, and a real shower truly hits the spot after a 7 hour drive. Simply put; you will love staying here. Michelle puts on a great stay adn is the perfect host. There's far more to say but I think you have to just book it and look around for all the little things she does to make your stay just a bit better than the rest. Thank you, Michelle. I'll be back to stay again.

Michelle’s barn was excellent, as well as whole experience. Host wasn’t home when I arrived, told me to just go in her home and have a shower to warm up. Spoke when she arrived later, very friendly and welcoming. Let me feed her horses. Also the accommodation itself was fantastic. Barn was warm, clean, very comfortable, and reasonably priced compared to others on here. Would make the drive from Canada again

Another visit to a most wonderful place to stay, Michelle took some of her guests horseback riding in the morning what a great experience the horses were beautiful. The place has been the best I think it’s my 3rd stay, I’m looking forward to my 4th. Thank you Michelle

What a beautiful place! Cutest cabin I’ve ever stayed in. It has everything that you need. Michelle was very welcoming and kind. Meeting the horses on arrival and riding them in the morning was a highlight.

Once again I’m not disappointed, Michelle is just a perfect host. I left the case for my reading glasses behind on my last visit, sure enough she had them waiting for me in the cabin. I hadn’t even realized I’d left them there. The place is peaceful and inviting. I will be back.

The cabin and camp site was awesome. The cabin has everything you need and things you didn’t think you needed. Michelle was easy to talk to, helpful, and personable. Everything that could be added on (wood, sauna, etc) was easily accessible. Site was easy to find, had plenty of space, and the horses came to visit multiple times (one of the best parts). Loved feeding the horses and treats were right on the front porch of the cabin. Cabin was cute, plenty of room, and had everything you need for the woods. Loved the fire pit and being able to make moonpies. All in all, this place is great for a couple, small group, or small family.

What an incredible place, quiet, clean, and Michelle is so very nice. I’m looking forward to staying again! The cabin I stayed in was the barn, she has several, it was perfect for my in and out travels. With a fire pit outside my door, the horses next door and the quietest chickens I’ve ever been around, it’s a shame I have to leave.

This was my 3rd trip here, and I know there will be more! As usual, everything was clean and cozy. Walking the area in the evening is so peaceful. We visited Beaver Creek State Park for hiking and spent a lot of time relaxing. I lost a pet last week and it has taken a heavy toll on me. Being here with nothing to worry about helped me tremendously. Thank you, Michelle, for having us. Next time I need to indulge in some breakfast again. ❤️

Michelle is so welcoming and has a gorgeous property! A tranquil place to slow down a bit and enjoy animals and nature. The best part, her homemade breakfast🤌🏽 I can’t wait to return. Even my cats loved it❤️

Our family had a great weekend at Michelle’s cabin! We got to sit by the fire, go on horse rides, and still enjoy all the comforts of home. We also took our dogs with us and they absolutely loved all the space they had to play! We are a small family of 4 and have small children so it was relatively easy to fit in the small cabin. We also found a bunch of ticks on our dog but that’s our own fault for not pre-treating him :(
Overall we would stay again and would love to try the breakfast every one raves about next time. (Michelle was available during our stay but we opted to bring/cook our own breakfast)

The property was gorgeous! The horses were really friendly and were fun to look at. The cabin itself was really cozy and Michelle has done a wonderful job decorating it. It was clear from the details of the place that Michelle has spent a lot of time setting it up and preparing details for her guests. We were very happy with everything provided for us. We were able to stay nice and warm and enjoy time together in the cabin.

Michelle's cabin is cute and cozy, with 3 horses, many birds, and a peaceful ambience. While we only stayed one night, we wished we stayed longer. The infrared sauna was excellent, the bed was comfortable, and the amenities in the cabin were more than sufficient. Michelle was a gracious host, and we chatted about many things and she even lent us her chess board to play. Overall, a great trip! We hope to be back.
