Even though we arrived pretty late, Jay was there to greet us and explain the property and amenities. The camping site is private and suited our rooftop tent. There is a nice kitchen area with microwave, hot plate, and some cooking utensils/pots and pans. I would definitely stay there again.

This is an excellent place to camp and get away from the city. I have been here before and it’s still just as great. Jay is a fantastic host and helpful with anything. I would highly recommend anyone stay here

This is a beautiful campground to stay! Nice facilities that included restroom, indoor shower, coffee pot, electric kettle & a mini fridge. We bicycles from the OTET. The road in is busy and a pretty good incline but worth the stay. We decided to Uber to grab dinner to avoid the hill. Jay was very welcoming and we loved getting to play with his dog Coca!

We enjoyed our trip and would recommend Little Darby to others. The building was great for eating dinner, having access to clean bathrooms, being able to wash dishes, and playing games with our son. We stayed at a site near the building and felt we had plenty of space. The space down the hill is beautiful and we enjoyed a short walk one morning. There are nearby metro parks with trails and biking and Columbus isn't far.

The space was awesome! There is a tree line or a little pond you can set up along, and the camphouse has a kitchenette, shower, and even an open space with a disco ball. We will be back!

I had a nice night on the property. The bathhouse is impressive and you can camp just about anywhere. But only high-clearance rigs down the hill. Recommended and I hope to return.

Tenting style camping was great on Jays property. Grass was well camp- great access to the site where there was a beauty waiting for us ( cocoa and the cat) we had a great stay- shower was good and clean. I’ll be back with my friends!

Beautiful meadow to camp In. Several shady spots. Jay is a super nice host. Nice game room on the premises.
However, if you’re in a tent, it may be hard to find an even spot of ground to sleep on. If you’ve got a cot you’re OK.
Overall, a super nice place to spend a couple nights.

Jay’s place was awesome! So close to everything I needed to do in Columbus but felt like the middle of nowhere, in all the good ways (think: crickets, peepers, fireflies, and a big sky full of stars). Jay and his pup and family made me feel welcome, even after arriving much later than I’d planned. Super nice folks. There were other campers on the property for my stay but I never saw or heard them- felt secluded and private. Also- great actual bathroom! Hard to find on HipCamp! Will definitley stay again for future trips to the area.

Super solid facility. When I got there at 6 the host said I was the only camper and could set up in the main building if I wanted to, which I did. At 8, the host said someone else might arrive, so I moved within the main building to an out of the way location. At 10, I surmised that the other guests probably weren’t going to make it and fell asleep. At midnight a couple seemingly drunk people stormed through the main building with multiple yipping dogs, shouting and turning on all the lights. Then they wandered out, leaving half the lights on. This is mostly a negative review about the behavior of those other guests as the host was apologetic about the situation and had a really great facility.
Some clear rules for quiet hours and/or limitations on when folks can arrive could be really beneficial for us early to bed/early to rise types.

Very clean and quiet. I was camping with 4 dogs. There was plenty of room for the pups to run. There is a nice area for cooking, shower and bathroom.

Everything was great. I stopped here while doing the Ohio to Erie trail with my tent. When I arrived I met Jay's daughter and their cute doggies! I got a nice spot under a tree next to the pond. I felt completely safe leaving my bike just outside my tent without a lock. Would HIGHLY recommend staying at this property!

I enjoyed Jay's land. It was a beautiful piece of property and saw deer several evening browsing in the lower field. I heard several birds which is great for those interested in birding. Jay keeps the shower and bathroom clean and was very helpful and goes above and beyond to accommodate your needs
I was happy that Tent Camping was conveniently located to the Ohio to Erie rail. I also noticed that close to the trail is a put-in spot on the Big Darby for paddling

I loved camping on Jay’s land, wonderful host and location. 10/10 would recommend. From the lodge on the property to the quaint little pond, everything was amazing and Jay is incredibly accommodating!

We absolutely loved everything this place has to offer from the amenities to the views to the campsites. The inside arcade was a blast so much fun and definitely a spooky vibe as paranormal investigators the host allowed us to investigate the arcade and the activity there and down the hill at our site was active! Could see stars and fireflies throughout the night it was beautiful Could hear coyotes howling into the moonlight night would definitely come back! Coco is full of energy and loves to play watch out she’s a jumper.

I loved this place. It was rainy, so I just parked on the gravel drive instead of venturing out into the acres of grassy countryside, but I had the whole place to myself and the views were wonderful. Even though you can't hook up the RV, you have access to fresh water, hot showers, clean toilet, microwave, and some basic kitchen supplies, indoor seating/game area, and a cute kitty to cuddle. Jay was friendly and easy to work with and the location is convenient, GPS works fine with Jay's added directions for getting in the right driveway. I will definitely recommend this to by RVing friends.
