Enjoy a peaceful private camping experience just outside Nelsonville, Ohio, near Lake Hope State Park and Hocking Hills. Our property features a private fishing pond home to largemouth bass, bluegill, and channel catfish, along with an 8' × 12' dock, open grassy areas, and plenty of space to relax. Spend your days fishing from the bank or dock, swimming, paddling around the pond, relaxing by the campfire, watching wildlife, or simply enjoying the slower pace of the outdoors. Guests can choose from three unique ways to stay: 🏕️ Pondside Campsite – A walk-in tent campsite located beside the pond with easy access to fishing, swimming, and pondside amenities. 🚐 RV Site – A private RV site with 30 amp and 20 amp electric, non-potable water, and daytime access to the pond. RV guests also enjoy access to our gray building with a mini fridge and microwave. 🌲 Entire Property – Reserve both sites together for exclusive use of the campground, pond, dock, and shared amenities. Perfect for families, friends, or groups who want the property to themselves. Depending on your booking, guests can enjoy: 🎣 Catch-and-release fishing 🏊 Swimming 🌅 8' × 12' dock 🛶 Free canoe use 🚣 Kayak rentals available 🦺 Life jackets provided 🔥 Fire pits 🍔 Grills 🪑 Picnic tables ⚡ Electric 💧 Non-potable water (please bring drinking water) 🚻 Pondside bathroom 🏠 Gray building with a mini fridge and microwave (RV Site and Entire Property bookings) ❄️ Small deep freezer coming soon Conveniently located near Lake Hope State Park, Moonville Tunnel, Nelsonville, Athens, and Hocking Hills State Park, our property makes a great basecamp for exploring southeastern Ohio while returning to a quiet place to relax each evening. To help preserve the peaceful atmosphere that makes this property special, we host only a limited number of guests at a time. Guests who reserve the Entire Property enjoy exclusive access to the campground, pond, dock, and shared amenities during their stay. Whether you're planning a quiet fishing getaway, a relaxing RV stay, or a camping trip with family and friends, we look forward to sharing our little piece of southeast Ohio with you.

🏕️ Pondside Campsite Near Hocking Hills 🎣🏊 Escape to a peaceful private pondside campsite between Nelsonville and Lake Hope State Park, just minutes from the Hocking Hills area. Whether you're looking to fish, swim, paddle, relax around the campfire, or simply unplug in nature, this quiet walk-in campsite offers a unique outdoor getaway. ✅ Best suited for up to 4 adults and 2 tents. Children are welcome when camping with their family. Guests park near the house and enjoy a short walk to the campsite. If your group plans to bring more than two vehicles, please let us know before your stay. Your campsite includes: - 🎣 Private fishing pond with largemouth bass, bluegill, and channel catfish - 🏊 Swimming welcome with dock and swim ladder - 🌅 8×12 dock - 🛶 Free use of our canoe (weather permitting) - 🚣 Kayaks available as an optional rental - 🦺 Life jackets provided for use with the canoe and kayaks - 🔥 Fire pit - 🪑 Picnic table - ⚡ Electric near the campsite - 🚻 Simple bathroom with toilet and sink - 💧 Non-potable water available (please bring drinking water) Fishing is catch and release only. Spend your day fishing from the bank or dock, swimming, paddling around the pond, watching wildlife, or simply relaxing by the water. During daylight hours, the pond may occasionally be shared with guests staying at our nearby RV site. From 10:00 PM to 10:00 AM, the pond and dock are reserved exclusively for campsite guests, providing a quieter and more private experience. This is a designated pondside campsite with a primary area for setting up tents. While there is limited flat ground around the pond, if another nearby spot works better for your setup, just ask and we'll do our best to accommodate you. Because this is a walk-in campsite, we recommend packing accordingly. If you're bringing a lot of gear, send us a message before you arrive and we may be able to help transport it when available. 🛍️ Camp Store Delivery Need something during your stay? A laminated Camp Store menu is available at the campsite. We offer campsite delivery of available items such as bait, snacks, drinks, charcoal, lighter fluid, and other convenience items, so you can spend more time relaxing and less time leaving camp. This is a simple, rustic outdoor experience—not a full-service campground. You may occasionally hear some highway noise from the nearby road, but the pond itself offers a peaceful, relaxing setting to enjoy nature. RV Site with Pond Access Near Hocking Hills Bring your self-contained RV or camper and enjoy a simple rural stay between Nelsonville and Lake Hope State Park, just minutes from the Hocking Hills area. This RV site is located near the upper part of the property, close to the highway, with electric, water, and daytime access to our private fishing pond. This RV site is for self-contained RVs and campers only. Guests must have their own toilet/bathroom setup. Electric is available with 30 amp and 20 amp service. Non-potable water is available at the site for general use. There is no sewer hookup, so guests should plan accordingly. Guests should bring their own drinking water. If your camper does not have a bathroom, please consider our full property booking instead, which includes access to the pondside bathroom. Larger rigs may need to back into the site, so guests should be comfortable backing up if needed. The RV site is near the highway, so some road noise should be expected. The pond area is set farther back on the property and offers a peaceful place to fish, relax, and enjoy nature. Your RV site includes: ⚡ 30 amp electric 🔌 20 amp electric 💧 Non-potable water available at the site 🚫 No sewer hookup 🅿️ Parking at the site 🎣 Daytime pond access from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM 🐟 Catch-and-release fishing 🌅 8x12 dock 🛶 Free canoe available at the pond. May take on a little water during use. 🚣 Kayak rentals may be available 🦺 Life jackets provided for watercraft use The pond has largemouth bass, bluegill, and channel catfish. Guests can fish from the bank or dock, relax by the water, watch wildlife, or enjoy the wooded pond setting. The pond may also be shared with guests from our pondside campsite or fishing reservations during daytime hours. From 10:00 PM to 10:00 AM, the pond and dock are reserved for pondside campsite guests only. If you’re looking for full-time pond access, use of the pondside bathroom, and more privacy during your stay, please consider our full property booking.

The property is beautiful and secluded for a real camping outdoor experience with nice bathroom and electric as a bonus .. the fishing is great for kids cause they caught more than they could keep up with .. Evan the owner was great guy and made us feel welcome brought the kiddos some popsicles in the heat .. deff recommend 10 out 10

Evan and his wife were wonderful! They were very helpful with anything we needed! The site was beautiful. The outhouse even had a sink and fan!! We will be back!

Was a great experience I would 100% recommend staying here for the week or weekend the pond was beautiful nice and peaceful kids loved swimming in the pond and fishing and us adults enjoyed it we will be back owners were super helpful and nice very beautiful campsites
