Our Mallard tent camping area is a medium sized tent camping site right across from Acorn Acres. This Site has room for multiple tents and is a great space for a sizable group trip that is very inexpensive. Guests at the Mallard tent site have access to the Pit latrines located nearby or the pool house bathrooms. Enjoy all the beautiful sights there are to be seen here at Geneva hills. The water at the Mallard Campsite and at the Pool House will be shut off from October 1 and will be turned back on around April 1, weather permitting. *Our Swimming pool is closed for the season starting September 1, 2025. Our Robin pavilion site is a large area great for camping and picnics. included is use of the robin pavilion, and surrounding area hedged by tree line. Guests staying in the Robin pavilion area have access to the nearby pit toilets and the pool house bathrooms. Water and electricity are also available. The Robin Pavilion area is a great place to set up and enjoy all the beautiful sights there are to be seen here at Geneva hills. Welcome to Acorn Acres! The campsite is made up of four, three sided shelters that sleep six each, a fun, alternative summer experience to tent camping. Site is equipped with pit latrines as well as water hook up. Campers will need to bring pad to lay on the bunk frame and sleeping bag to best sleep in this area. We love to host larger groups! Site comes with usage of the pavilion (with electric), shower house, bonfire area, and small swing set. enjoy all the beautiful sights there are to be seen here at Geneva hills. Timber Ridge

Timber ridge- A very secluded section of the camp, home to four large screened bunk houses, perfect for mattress pads, cots, or even tents.  This area is perfect for groups looking to get outside and have an amazing camping experience together . Includes a covered picnic area with attached kitchen. Stove, refrigerator, long counter spaces and kitchen sink makes for the fully capable space for meal prep. Electric inside kitchen & amp; shelter area. The area also has a large fire pit, great for bonfires. Timber ridge also has a block bath house with 4 latrine toilets and four changing areas, split into two separate bathrooms, perfect for groups with both male and female campers. enjoy all the beautiful sights there are to be seen here at Geneva hills. The water at the Timber Ridge Campsite and at the Pool House will be shut off in October and will be turned back on around April weather permitting.

A very beautiful campsite we stayed at I wish the lake was a little bit bigger and more accessible but they were plenty to do on the campgrounds very helpful woman working the front office The pool was closed even though it was Labor Day weekend we could have really used a good swim only stayed one night but it was great

There aren't any pictures of the tent sites that are by the lake so be careful of what you reserve. If you have heftier vehicle than a sedan then bass would be okay. If you have a sedan I highly recommend any of the other sites as bass has a big drop into the site where the others have flattened gravel to park on. Didn't end up staying because my vehicle would have been stuck in hill. Probably will be back to try again but definitely wouldn't recommend the bass site unless you have a truck or 4x4 jeep

Overall, the facilities provided are satisfactory. However, sites are located close to each other and there isn't a lot of privacy. Other sites didn't respect the quiet hours and were partying well past midnight, making it hard to enjoy the evening to the fullest. Would consider returning during the off season.

I wrote a review for this site for my 1st night. Hipcamp app wouldn’t let me book two nights ina row so I had to do 2 separate bookings. Resulted in 2 booking fees too. So- Hipcamp, take this as notice of a glitch? Campsite was great!

Really nice campgrounds. Tent sites are in forested area- we could just barely see our neighbors in the next site. Very quiet- no background traffic. There are a lot of activity ‘zones’, I imagine that it would get busy. There are restrooms at the pool- heavily used and maybe not appealing but they are not dirty nor are they secure. But there is a real nice, finished full bath that locks on the back side of the welcome center. I would stay here again. Note: if you are in a regular car- as opposed to a truck- avoid Blue Gill site, you have to come in/out at an extreme angle to about bottoming out!

The price was right. Was nice having shower and restroom. Decent gap between you and neighbors. Perch site has a decent slope to it. The others seemed to have more flat space. Getting to the water from the camp site itself is possible but again decent slope there. All in all was a good time and would recommend.

Me and my girls took a three day weekend to Hocking Hills. Geneva was a great place to camp. We felt safe tucked into the forest. The pool was awesome. It was nice to have that little treasure close by. The lake was a little smaller than expected and the fish in it, a little small. But it was still beautiful. And the price is just right. There was nobody in the welcome center this weekend, but we could call the number if we needed anything and I only needed to do that once and the person who answered was very helpful. I will definitely go again!

I love the campsite. It was beautiful and amazing. We had Catfish and it was a peer of the lake. They responded to all questions I had pretty quickly. Especially for a weekend. The pool looks well maintained. Overall a wonderful experience.

We stayed at Acron Acres and it’s a solid spot for group camping. The toilet was clean and there was water available, which helped a lot. Just a heads-up: there’s no electricity, no WiFi, and no BBQ grill. The firepit was nice, and there are 4 sleeping shelters. But there were a lot of bugs and spiders, and I wish there was grass for tent camping — the ground was a bit rough. The swimming pool is just a 3-minute walk away, which was great. Since we were all boys, we honestly had a blast — if you’re coming with just the guys, there’s not much to complain about. Tip: Bring everything you need for camping, except water for dishes — that’s available on-site.

My wife and I decided to go on a short camping trip this past weekend. Neither one of us has been camping in well over 20 years so this was kind of a new thing for us as empty-nesters. We really enjoyed this campground and all of its amenities. Even though we had a rather loud Church group that was there we still had a good time. We enjoyed the campground so much that we plan to go back this weekend again.

The tent camp site and facilities were really nice . However there was an event (church camp group maybe?) going on in the lodge with very loud music. Both nights we camped there was a live band playing until close to midnight. And then Again starting around 8am. I go camping to enjoy the sounds of nature and relaxing. The music was really annoying and I definitely would not have camped there if I had known it would be so loud.

On arrival we originally were pretty disappointed with how close other campers are. Either way you look at camp there was people and personally I was hoping for more privacy however I will give a very honest review. The first night was rough. We got to camp late and realized we had the worst spot which is okay because it's late. We realized though that with the rule first come first serve with sites that is not a good idea. There is only a few regular sites that a sedan can access. The rest are 4x4 only. If all the sedan or regular spots are taken I don't know what you would do or if you could still camp. Now let's get into the other part which can also be fixed. We have a 4 year old daughter and went to go use the shower restrooms. These were disgusting with no locks on the door. No space to go number 2 as the stall is so tiny can barely fit inside and door stays part way open no way to close. Gross. Now let's get to the good because it's not all bad. We discovered the welcome center bathroom which is wonderful. However there is only one meaning if there is a large family you may be waiting for awhile to go. This can be fixed and in my opinion they should build another welcome center style bathroom house for guests. 2nd and 3rd night we got the entire campground to ourselves. Got to pick which site we wanted and ohhh boy did we have fun. The rest of the trip was so amazing. Will we back? Most likely yes! Employees were kind and helpful. Pool was open and clean.

We had a great time tent camping at Geneva Hills. It was a hot weekend (mid 90's) but our campsite, blue gill was all shade and actually quite comfortable. We booked the blue gill site in advance but when you arrive the primitive sites are first come, first serve so if you want that specific site make sure to get there on time. We spent some time on the lake kayaking and fishing. Great for paddling, not for swimming. They have kayaks/canoes there for rent but we brought our own. We also spent all day at the pool, which was about a 30sec walk from our site. The pool was fantastic, clean and very refreshing on a hot day with lots of chairs/loungers. Check in was a breeze and the staff was super kind. We will definitely be back to try out some of the other activities such as hiking and games that Geneva Hills has to offer.

The area is nice and under the trees. It was a short walk to the bathroom and the pond. The bathrooms are clean but lots of bugs living in there. There was a truck doing work at 6:30AM so we became early morning people while staying here.

We enjoyed our stay. Enjoyed waking up to birds singing. Enjoyed having trails on the property. Only drawback was the group renting the lodge near us didn’t observe the 10pm quiet rule. If we stay again, will try out a few of the extras, like kayaking.

Super quiet and peaceful! We were the only ones staying in the tent camping area, so it felt really private. Flush toilets/showers were within walking distance at the pool house. Saw amazing wildlife such as turkeys, kingfishers, woodpeckers, deer. Heard a pack of coyotes in the distance at night too!
