Come stay at our little sustainable farmstead amid the beautiful rolling hills of southern Ohio!
Our peaceful 20 acres has a good mix of woods, wild meadows and maintained cleared areas as well as a small pond, all of which can be explored via our nature trail. Enjoy the sounds of nature and an incredible night sky.
Farm fresh eggs and fresh produce are available for purchase during the growing season and firewood is available all year round.
There is also a wonderful sauna on the property that can be reserved.
Great hiking, kayaking, biking, birding, fishing, swimming, and disc-golfing opportunities just a few miles away at Paint Creek State Park and the Highland Nature Sanctuary. Amish country is also just 15 minutes away with a great bakery, markets and greenhouses. This area is home to an impressive network of ancient earthworks including the world famous Serpent Mound.
Our accommodations range from primitive tent-camping to "glamping" in one of our tiny off-grid cabins.
The sites are spaced out for privacy and each site offers a private picnic table and fire pit. There are two shared privies/outhouses which have basic composting toilets. A grassy parking area is provided near the road, however, ALL SITES ARE WALK-IN ONLY.
Greenfield (5 miles north) is the nearest town and has two grocery stores, restaurants, a bar, hardware, gas, etc. Bainbridge (7 miles south) has gas, hardware, a couple of restaurants, dollar store, amish businesses, etc.

Site 4 (juniper meadow)
Lovely Farm!!!
I had such a relaxing weekend camping at Fruitdale Farm. Site 4 was perfect for me. I like to be able to use a solar panel during the day to recharge a few electronics (radio, headlamp, lights, etc.), so being in the meadow with access to the sun was great, and there were still plenty of spots to stay out of the sun myself whenever needed.
It’s obvious that host Aimee has, and continues to, put a lot of work into the farm. 5 Stars for keeping it as hospitable as possible for Hipcampers and other visitors alike! I will definitely stop by again in the future.

Site 2 (woodland gully)
Site 2
Site 2 was private, but still a convenient location. The overrall experience was enjoyable and we appreciated the theme and effort the hosts put into their property for others to experience.

Site 3 (woodland gully)
Second time camping here! First time at site#3. Absolutely loved it! Super close to privy, firewood, and unloading zone but nestled into the woods for perfect privacy. Plenty of trees for hammocks, and lots of space for multiple tents.

Site 5 (woodland gully)
We loved camping there with our 2 children. We had enough space to set up 2 tents and our hammock. We liked that the campsite was tucked into the woods and private. My children enjoyed looking at the chickens and checking out the pond. We went and laid on a blanket near the pond and watched the stars, nice and clear for it! The privy was only about a minute walk from our campsite which is a plus! Can't wait to come back again. Wonderful area and beautiful flowers and woods ❤️

Perseid Meteor Shower Weekend.
What a great weekend! Sight 3 was great, and spacious for our 2 families. We enjoyed the shaded spot during the heat of the day, and the open area near the pond was perfect for watching the meteor shower at night. We could see the whole milky way! The kids and dog loved the swimming hole, and nature trails. They even put on a show for us on the stage. The farm is beautiful, we'll absolutely be back.

The Whole Darn Place
Do it!
Did an overnight for our staff - about 20 people - and got ‘the whole darn place’ - every one loved it including those less comfortable camping - the sites and grounds are beautiful, the cabin setups super cozy, every part of the experience was easy. Would recommend for a peaceful small getaway or a large group party, and everything in between. Thank you Aimee for your hard work!
