Oasis
This spot is a beautiful oasis smack dab in the middle of bucolic serenity. Allen is an amazing person for sharing this slice of heaven with us travelers. I would definitely stay again and probably will on my next trip in a few weeks.

Lovely place, level site, easy to back in with 30amp service. In the farmland, well trimmed grassy paths to walk the dogs. Will stay again when in the area

Two nights stay
We stayed two nights and had a geeat time. Walked the paths, checked out the pond and loved the red bike in the tree. Beautiful place across from a field. Wind whistling thru all the trees. Very peaceful. Would definitely stay again.

Country Outpost RV Site
A site with a bit of history.
This is our second trip to the country outpost RV site. Allen is a wonderful host. He even saved our dog bowl that we left the last time we camped there. The site is easy to get to and easy to back in and set up. The road is not that busy so it is pretty quiet. There are a multitude of trails to walk on and explore. This is a retired Christmas Tree farm so the outpost and the little out buildings that were used when they were selling Christmas trees; along with the vintage signage gives you a little bit of history of the site as well. This is on our list of favorites and sites to revisit over and over. Thank you Allen!

The property was well maintained. Very light traffic on the road. Trails were nice to walk around the property. Allen was a pleasure to meet. Fire pit next to the pound was very relaxing.

Beautiful
Beautifully kept area. Many plants to see, even some yellow iris. Nice pond with plenty of bluegill. Easy to follow short trail around property. Able to get one bar of cell signal on 4g and on the guest wifi. Plently of parking for rv on nice, clean gravel. Quiet area. Road is close so keep pets even closer but it is lightly traveled. Our 3 dogs loved their stay!

The fire by the pond in the evening was great. Loved the morning doves that sang through the evening. The bike in the tree was unique. Quite a spot next to the old store. Allen met us when we arrived which was great to chat.

really nice!
great little place for an overnight hookup and stay. a nice little area to walk the dogs, have a fire if wanted (wood available) well kept grounds. passing thru traveling across country and these little sites beat the pants off having to deal with a literal campground. if theres water available it needs to be more clear where the spigot is. site listed and we didnt need it as we had a full tank but didnt locate it.

Peaceful country hideaway
We had an amazing time staying here! Beautiful views, peaceful, quiet, and barely any traffic that passes by. The host was quick to respond to any needs or questions we had! We would for sure stay here again!(: — I do want to note that the water is not located directly at the spot! You will need a tote or type of container to carry water from spout back to your spot.

Beautiful and tranquil place!
Peaceful and private. The property has beautiful pathways and a wonderful pond. The weather was not ideal and I plan on another visit when I can enjoy more of what this special place has to offer. The parking area is very level and close to State highways.

Great place to relax!
We loved our stay at the at the Country Outpost! The fire pit was back by the pond and was a very quiet and relaxing spot. There were many nicely mowed trails to explore as well. Allen checked on us when we arrived to see how we were doing and if we needed anything. He and his wife are great hosts and a very nice couple.

Quiet Overnight Stop
This Hipcamp was perfect for us. It was a level gravel driveway in front of an old-style storefront. It had plenty of room to park our truck and 30' trailer without unhitching. There was good wifi, which was helpful because it was rainy and we couldn't have a campfire, so we watched Netflix. It was super quiet and we slept well!

Nice location. Weather wasn't great. Still caught bass, bluegill. Blue shartruce was hitting on a 68 degree day. Allen meets you tells you the breakdown of the rules and regulations.

Beautiful property!
My husband and I and our pup enjoyed a one night stay at the Country outpost! The property is beautiful with freshly cut walking paths, a nice area by the pond with a picnic table and fire pit. The outpost is right on the road, but very quiet and lightly traveled. We had enough space behind the outpost to run and play fetch with our dog off leash without concerns! Someone else complained about wi-fi, but we came to relax and be away from electronics so it was not a problem. I would definitely recommend!

Big Fun at Allen's
We really enjoyed taking the dogs camping at Allen's site. It was great fun for them to run and swim and Allen was so hospitable with offering campfire wood and allowing us to hook up to his electric. Overall I would say it would be worth doing again!

Peaceful, beautiful, and cut off
This site is right on the road. It's a short gravel driveway in front of a well kept business front. The road is mostly very quiet, with nothing but farms around and the occasional shipping truck passing through. The property behind the site is really beautiful. Pond, fire ring, beautiful paths through the old xmas trees. Quiet, peaceful and very solitary feeling. However, there is no cell service, which would have been fine if there were actually Wi-Fi at the site as listed. The Wi-Fi can be accessed up close to the owner's house back behind the site, but it's not strong enough to do more than send an email or text. You need to drive about 15 minutes into town to get cell service.

Country Outpost RV Site
The Outpost was a great little spot. Allen took time to greet us and then checked back after we got settled.
We went in to the cute little town of Greenville and enjoyed a farmers market along with lunch at a cute cafe. There is a gorgeous park with lots of green space and walking trails.
If you’re looking for hiking or kayaking opportunities you will have to drive a bit farther afield.
This is a perfectly peaceful site but I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the hunters across the road. Their shots sounded quite close between 7:30-9:30 Saturday morning. Even taking the early wake up in to account, we would go back.
