There is a craving to get back into nature, to stay in unique places, to revel in little indulgences, and to have inspiring experiences. Satisfy your cravings with a unique glamping experience at Canvas Cottages™ Glampsite! We're located in the rolling Appalachian Foothills of Coshocton County. You'll be staying in the midst of 13 acres of old hardwoods on an easy incline with a beautiful 3/4 acre pond as your focal point. HQ, our central gathering place, transports glampers back to those summer camp days gone by. It's where our glampers will find fishing gear, yoga equipment, arcade & board games, craft kits, souvenirs, more firewood, and so much more. There's nothing better than spending the day by, on, or in the water. So we stocked the pond and provided our guests with a row boat, a floating dock with hanging chairs, and a wood-fired hot tub to name just a few of the amenities around the pond. While hiking our trails, glampers will also discover a zipline, archery range, tomahawk throwing target, secret library, corn hole court, bonfire pit, and so much more! Our goal is to provide a meaningful and sustainable adventure while giving you some hands-on experience with living off-grid in an environmentally friendly habitat. Each glampsite's theme also strives to transport you to a legendary place and time for that "Historically Modern Glamping Experience." Canvas Cottages™ is a space for you to engage in contemplative actions that connect you with yourself, with others, with nature, and with the great outdoors! Canvas Cottages is minutes away from Rosco Village, a restored 1830s canal town, and Ohio's largest Amish community where you'll find lots of great shopping, homestyle cooking, unique history, and breathtaking rural countryside views. We're also right along the path of 'The 3 Rivers Wine Trail’ where you can tour 7 wineries & a brewery all within a day's scenic drive. There are also several adventure trails for motorcycling, bike riding, and geocaching. The Bombay Belle glampsite sits up on a 24' x 24' deck amid acres of old-growth woods. THE OUTDOOR SPACE: Enjoy an intimate meal for 2 at the dining table, with a dessert of smores cooked over the fire. The kitchen is covered and equipped with a 2-burner stove, a 42 qt. fridge, a grill, and all the gear to make outstanding outdoor meals. THE PRIVATE BATHHOUSE: Rinse off the day's hike in a hot water shower while overlooking the pond. The composting toilet keeps everything eco-friendly. THE CANVAS COTTAGE: The 236 f² canvas cottage has a large entrance and 4 big round windows, all fully screened. The queen-size bronze bed is the centerpiece of your suite. Sink into the papasan chair with a good book or use the desk for focused activity. It’s nice to unplug from it all, but with plenty of USB ports to recharge your devices. A portable generator is available for more demanding power needs. ON PROPERTY ACTIVITIES: There’s lots to do in the woods along our trails. Find our secret library to unwind in a hammock with an interesting book. Throw a tomahawk, shoot arrows, ride a zipline! Go fishing in our fully stocked pond, take the rowboat out for a float, or hang in one of the hammock chairs on the dock. Listen to the evening croaks and trills while relaxing in the shoreside hot tub. HQ, located by the dock, is where you’ll find fishing gear, yoga equipment, arcade & board games, picnic gear, and firewood. Choose a craft kit to spend the day, or a homemade souvenir to remember it by. Play a few rounds of cornhole by the wildflower hill, then the guitar around a bonfire by the big red windmill. Our goal is for you to feel relaxed, reconnected, and recharged. LOCATION: We’re located in the rolling Appalachian Foothills of Coshocton County, minutes away from Rosco Village, an 1830s canal town with shops, restaurants, and museums. For a truly unique experience, take a ride on the horse-drawn Monticello III canal boat. We're also along the scenic '3 Rivers Wine Trail’, 7 wineries & a brewery along the way. There are several adventure trails for motorcycling, bike riding, horseback riding, and geocaching. We're within Ohio's largest Amish community. New Bedford, Baltic, Charm, Sugarcreek, Berlin, Walnut Creek, or Millersburg - all only minutes away!

Absolutely loved everything about this place. It was quiet and cozy. We had a great time with all the activities on site. The zip line was my favorite and so was the secret library. It was extremely beautiful and can’t wait to come back. Diana and her husband were very welcoming and so was there dog spirit what a sweetheart!

Relax and refresh
We are primitive tent campers and thought we would give ourselves a break and try this. It was a treat! Diana and Don are the nicest people you could meet and we are very happy to call them new friends! This place is beautiful! You can tell there was a lot of thought and love put into this! It is very clean and you literally only need to bring your clothes and food and drink…everything you need is there and well organized….so many thoughtful touches. If you want to truly relax and unwind this is the place to be! You will leave feeling refreshed and renewed it’s like being at a spa! Plus you have many activities…we tried archery, hatchet throwing and did the zip line plus fishing so much fun! I recommend the hammock chairs at the dock. The woods are beautiful plenty of birds and deer to see. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend this to all!

Such an amazing place. Not sure I could think of anything Diana hasn't already thought of. There are some seriously big fish in the pond. The boat is a must whether you fish or not. There is so much here to explore and enjoy. Diana and Don are very friendly and have a lot of stories to tell.
