Wonderful private spot. Will be staying there in the future. Host is very friendly. Cabin is convenient and out in nature. Very comfortable stay.

It was exactly what we were looking for! A small, private little slice of nature. The cabin is beautifully decorated and a cozy yet spacious layout. We WILL definitely be returning!
For those wondering, the recliner is quite comfy! The futon can be made into a comfy bed too. The wall heater works very well for keeping the place toasty when the weather gets cold (39 degrees on night one). At nighttime, the reflective insulation on the ceiling inside gives off awesome light when using a camp light pointed up.
Having a generator was amazing for cooking on the electric camp stove and charging devices. We only needed to run it in the morning and evening for a few hours. The cabin is very well lit while powered and has plenty of outlets. There was plenty of dishes and all the extra things you may forget to pack. There was a TV and mini fridge, but we weren't running the power long enough to use them.
It was about 10 minutes from Geneva on the lake and Geneva State Park, or about 6 minutes from Giant Eagle, Dollar General, and Get Go (Propane exchange).
The host was amazing and communicated the entire time. We didn't have any issues at all! As I said above, we will be returning!!!!

The cabin was the perfect place for my wife and dogs. Everything was clean and the cabin well stocked with everything you need. The generator was perfect for what we needed it lights in the evening and when we had a cook, something turned it off before bed use the propane heater for a little bit That was perfect because the temperature was about 45° at night. The portable bathroom is right next to the cabin, which is very clean perfect little fire pit plenty of places to get wood around there. I would recommend this place for a nice little getaway outside.

Dan's place was the perfect spot for our weekend getaway to Ashtabula County. Even though rain was in the forecast, we had a fantastic time thanks to the convenient location and comfortable accommodations. The campsite was clean and private, yet within easy driving distance of all the area's attractions. Dan was incredibly responsive and had clearly put a lot of thought into making our stay enjoyable. We were especially impressed with the value for what you get. If you're looking for a dog-friendly campsite with everything you need, I highly recommend booking Dan's place.
