Pack your essentials and escape to the Little Miami River Valley's best kept secret. Our off-grid cabin and tent campsite is situated on 14 acres along the National and Scenic Little Miami River. Once here, you'll park near our farmhouse on the upper plateau and take a 4 minute hike over the creek, through the meadow, and into the woods. As you approach the cabin and campsite/s, the trail opens up to an acre of green space shaded by large Sycamore, Walnut, and other native trees. Take a dip in the river, enjoy people watching as canoeist pass, or take part by renting a canoe or kayak from Morgan's Outdoor Adventures just a mile up the road. The Little Miami Trail is also less than a mile down the road so bring your bike! Our composting outhouse is serviced between each stay, meaning it's emptied, sanitized, and like new for each new guest. There are two established campfire locations and a picnic table is provided along with several tiki torches. There is plenty of room for tents if additional guests are joining. If interested in having tents provided and set up prior to arrival, see add ons. Add-ons available for additional purchase include bedding (cabin only), a propane grill, tent rental/setup, and firewood. Please note, our cabin site and tent site are the same location. Once one site is booked (e.g. either the tent site or cabin), we'll blackout the dates for the other site option so that you are the only guest/group onsite on any given night.

Amazing place!

This place was amazing! Serene. Peaceful. Accommodations were very clean. Best out house set up ever. No smell. It provided all we needed. Great host. Totally recommend!

Tent Campsite On The River

This campsite was exactly as described. Well taken care of w/ a clean outhouse containing a composting toilet. Enough space to spread out and shoot bows, fish, tube the river. The Battery powered outhouse light and fan were great touches. Hunter communicated with us through the whole process and greeted us for a moment as we arrived. 10/10 will return.

Tent Campsite On The River

Camping by the River

This site is GREAT! The property is large, private, and right at the edge of the river. We spent a lot of time in the river and around the campsite. The adirondack chairs provided were very nice to have by the fire pit which we used every day during our stay. The host Hunter was very helpful during the entire process and very generous with his property. My wife said the site was perfect and just what we were looking for and that the outhouse was the best she had ever seen. The only thing to note is that you will need to bring your own drinking water as there is no potable water. A few expandable jugs worked perfect for us.

Beautiful riverside camping

We really enjoyed our stay on this beautiful riverside campsite! It is very private, besides the expected kayakers floating by. The campsite is large and well maintained. The host was very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back!

Cabin Campsite On The River

Large site, clean and maintained

This is the most amazing Hipcamp site I've ever visited. Hunter greeted us upon arrival and has thought of everything for the cabin. It has a makeshift sink with fresh drinkable water, not well water. The bed was very comfortable, and Hunter provided lights, fans, and more. The outhouse was incredibly clean, making you forget you're in an outhouse. The cabin is located directly on the Little Miami River, perfect for swimming and floating, bring a river tube or 2. The hosts' family business, Morgan’s Canoe and Kayak Rental, offers a fantastic river trip that I highly recommend. This is a great campsite for families, couples, and solo travelers. It fits everyone’s needs. Thanks Hunter! We will be back!
