Sasha’s Spot
Just got back from a fantastic weekend at Sasha's Spot! What really made this place special were the hosts; they were incredibly kind, welcoming, and full of great recommendations for exploring the area. Our dog absolutely loved swimming in the beautiful pond, which was a huge plus for us. The campsite itself was well-maintained, and the peaceful atmosphere made it the perfect getaway. We'll definitely be back!

This really is a must visit cabin! Pj was a huge help when my wife and I and of course our fur baby came to stay during the new years. The cabin was so cozy, clean, and just perfect for some much needed relaxation. We will be back for sure!

Was the most beautiful cabin I have been to. Mr Pj was awesome I can't wait to get back there. Me and my daughter spent Christmas here and it was magical. They even had a Christmas 🎄 waiting on us. Everything you need is in the cabin. Bring you clothes food and family and be ready to make beautiful memories. Thanks

We look forward to cabin weekend every year. PJ is a wonderful host and does an exceptional job making sure we have everything we need. It is always a relaxing and quiet weekend. It is also fun to see what upgrades the hosts have made since the year before. Highly recommend this stay!

A beautiful place to disconnect and enjoy time in nature. The place is super cozy. Even our 2 year old & 4 month old enjoyed it. Our dog loved the open area she could run off leash safely & explore. Nothing but positives to say. The hosts are super friendly; making sure you’ve got everything you need!

Couldn't have had a better stay at a nicer place. The cabin had everything we could have needed. A full kitchen, nicely stocked, a full bathroom, and a beautiful view. Outside is set up perfect for a nice fire. Quiet, private stay. Hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. 10/10 recommend.

it’s a beautiful cabin in the woods what’s not to like you have a amazing view out of any of the windows the owners are super awesome people and very kind and always willing to help with whatever you need we really couldn’t of asked for a better place to stay the AC works amazing witch was a big plus for when it’s hot outside and you just get back from a hike and really was a super enjoyable time also my dog loved the big area outside he was running all over the place and had a great time as well I will be recommending this place for anyone that wants a secluded cabin away from the city it was a blessing to stay here

Sasha’s Spot
This property was idyllic and we will definitely return. Hiking up to the highest point was well worth the sunset views. We were the only ones staying and had the place to ourselves. The hosts were 12/10 great. We didn’t get a single mosquito bite even near the pond. Things to note if you’re bringing dogs - this spot is kind of close to the road so we were nervous about letting them off leash. There were also neighbor dogs that wandered onto the property a couple of times. They seemed friendly, but made us uneasy at first. Overall, we had a lovely time.

Where do I start!? This place was amazing for what my family and I needed! From plenty of forest, pastures and a pond to explore to the many accomodations that are provided by the very friendly and helpful host. I was having my bathroom remodeled and needed a place to take the dogs and fiance to for a long weekend while the contactor did his thing. This place provided that "home away from home" feeling that allowed us to kick back, go for a hike, read a book and disconnect to recharge. Anyone who enjoys the great outdoors but also likes that homey vibe, this is the place for you! Highly recommend and will be coming back for many more visits. Big shout out to Michelle and PJ for making us feel right at home. Also this was our very first trip with HIPCAMP and we couldn't be happier, we are planning our next adventure now!

Amazing place to unwind. I love that there is no phone service it really gave me a chance to be alone and spend time with my family. We enjoyed playin in the creek and the nearby waterfall. We even went rafting down a nearby river. They have literally everything you can think of if you forget anything. It truly felt like home. Even my three year old didn’t want to leave. Thank you!

Beautifully situated, comfortable, cozy, quiet cabin with all the amenities and thoughtful touches like tons of games for all ages and interests, movies, books, and acres of lovely forest and meadow to explore. The United Cabin
My husband and I loved this little cabin. It was a great quiet getaway. We really didn’t need to be bring anything but food, drink and clothes. The cabin provided so much. It is surrounded by beautiful country and tranquil waterways. We would definitely visit again. Lovely host and great experience.

We love the United Cabin so much that we’ve stayed there twice! We enjoy the privacy and coziness. It is a great base for our kayaking adventures to come home and cook and relax in. We also had a great day just staying home at the cabin and hiking, cooking on our campfire, playing music and laying out on our own private hillside. I love that walking out the front door or standing on the back porch I can imagine that we are alone in the woods and enjoy the peace and quiet of nature.

We had a wonderful getaway in peaceful seclusion. Our beagles loved every minute of it.
Back deck gave you the feeling of being immersed in the forest and is shaded all day except for a dappled sunlight in morning hours. We saw some wildlife- gray squirrel, rabbit and a fawn. Fire ring and picnic area was very nice. It exceeded my expectations.

We stayed in a tent at Sasha’s spot for 2 nights and it was AMAZING!
The platform they had just built was perfect for our tent and 2 coolers to stay level ! The trees in the area were just as perfect for our hammocks :) the pond had plenty of fish and kept me busy for hours ! 🎣 site was private and quiet and just beautiful all around !
If you walk up the hill to see the sunset it’s absolutely worth it!!! Our host were super kind and helpful the whole time , responded quickly and brought us wood to buy anytime we asked !!! We will be returning in the future multiple times!

I loved stay out at the united cabin it was a nice relaxing getaway to reconnect with the family. My son and dog loved cooling off down in the creek and relaxing by the fire at night. The hosts were very generous asked if we meed anything when they would deliver firewood and gave good recommendations on a place to grab a quick bite to eat. Would definitely recommend the stay!

Cabin was a bit dusty, but loved the rustic feel. Previous occupant left toaster strudels so that was cool. Front door did not lock securely though. Lock worked, but could just push open door even while locked. Having a key would have been nice had I needed to leave the property for a while too. Alternatively, a secure code lock could work as well assuming door was more secure . Overall 7/10 on experience, just some opportunities to improve to a 10.

Camping at Sasha's spot was perfect! My husband and I spent our anniversary here with our three year old. We caught bluegill and bass, flied kites, and just enjoyed being outside. PJ had just finished putting in a 10x10 level wooden pad that was perfect for our screen house and table. I was able to get cell service on this pad as well, but not much everywhere else on the site. Beautiful stars, a serenade of frogs to fall asleep to, tons of lightning bugs, and surprisingly almost NO misquitos at all!

The pictures doesn't do this property justice. Breathtaking hills on one side of you and a creek and wilderness on the other side. You will disconnect from the world here and find yourself again. 10/10 recommend!!!! Our favorite cabin we have visited thus far!!

The cabin is in a great location. Set up is great for a small family. My kids loved the loft set up as well as the creek running behind the property. It was a blessing that they treated the area and we dealt with very little to no mosquitoes or ticks. Great DVD selection! Also close to some really nice hiking, rivers for swimming or canoeing, and Amish foods and goods.

My dog and I had an amazing weekend at PJ and Michelle's haunted corner! The views were so beautiful and we loved watching the sun rise and set from the hill. We thoroughly enjoyed the ghost stories however the hosts were the best part about this campsite!
I can't thank them enough for checking up on me and helping my to get a tow when my camper van wouldn't start. We'll definitely be camping at the haunted corner again in the future.
