Quiet and peaceful
Our stay was great. We stayed in one of the RV spots which was Level. The view boasted picturesque views of the bay and a distant Lunenberg across the water. I short walk also revealed amazing nature and serene views. This was out first Hipcamp experience and we are now looking for more.

The areas is very beautiful. Relaxing and lots beautiful beaches and waterfront near by! Katie was polite and professional

Great location!
I don’t know if there is a better spot to camp. Beautiful views, close to quaint towns, friendly host. Long drive for us, but definitely hope to return.

A beautiful one night stay!
My friend and I had an amazing stay on Katie's land'!! It was a beautiful and quiet space that offered a surreal environment to camp. We used it as a stop over spot on the way down to Barrington. Communication with Katie was easy and informative before / during our stay. Sadly we didn't get a chance to meet her in person but we certainly felt at home. My favourite part as side from the beautiful sunset I got to view across the street was the OUTDOOR SHOWER! The water was nice and warm and it was so nice to shower in nature.
I highly recommend a stay at Katie's if you are passing through the area ! We felt safe, and relaxed.

We loved our stay on Katie’s land! Katie was helpful and friendly (as well as the other campers and dogs) and we felt very welcomed. We had nice trees around the camp site for some privacy as well as a power plug for our cooler. Katie was kind enough to show us the way to the waterfront just on the other side of the street so we could enjoy the view and the shooting stars at night. Katie and her family are working hard to offer a really nice experience at a cheap rate and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a rustic and convivial place to camp in Nova-Scotia.

An Immersion in Nature
Off the beaten trail was exactly the type of camp experience I was looking for. It was close enough to Lunenburg, Mahone Bay Bridgewater, Liverpool and beaches to do day trips from camp. And when I came back in the evenings, it was like a little nature paradise. After dinner I'd take my dog for a walk and sometimes Bo, the owner lab would join us. It was a joy to watch them swimming along the shoreline while taking in the breathtaking sunsets.
Devin and Katie have put their hearts into building this camp. Everything was perfect, from the little cottages, to the retro trailer, the outdoor showers and firepits all sitting on a well appointed acreage with a million dollar view of the ocean. They were excellent hosts. We engaged in meaningful conversations and I was lucky enough to hear their vision for their camp. When I asked if there was power to charge my camera and phone they brought an extension cord right to my trailer.
If you looking for a rustic location and enjoy the beauty of nature this place is for you!

Loved tent camping on Katie’s beautiful land. She and her family were very welcoming and helpful, (and have the sweetest Lab!) We stayed at site #3 and it was quiet and well maintained, we even had a view of the water from our site. The bathroom/shower facilities are great! The outdoor shower was just being finished and looks awesome. A short drive away to some really great beaches and hiking trails. Thanks to Katie and her family for sharing this piece of paradise with us. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Quiet at the end of the road
Katie is a very friendly host. She has many plans for her Hipcamp. She has a few tent sites that we were able to park our campervan on. She has plans to offer glamping sites too with RV’s. She has a hot shower and compostable toilet as well as an outhouse which was nice. She informed us of the possible ticks which we didn’t see any. But she had sprayed with a garlic solution the week before. There were more hipcampers there then we are used to. But everyone was very nice and very respectful of the quiet times.

Quiet, relaxing, .....and relaxing.
This facility is located down a dead-end road, so you know there will only be local traffic. The site was clean and flat. It has a stone firepit, and picnic table. I will keep it short and sweet, because this is like telling someone about your favorite fishing spot, and soon enough there is no room for you to fish. Great site, great hosts.

Little slice of paradise
Katie’s land is absolutely incredible. You get an ocean view right out your front door, how can you beat that?! It’s located on a quiet and beautiful peninsula. It’s very close to Lunenberg which is one of the nicest tourist destinations in Nova Scotia. She has lots of different offerings from tent sites to a garden shed, plus she is adding more cool ones soon. I definitely want to go back and try out some of the other places to sleep :)
The outdoor shower is very cool. It was raining for us, but otherwise we would have had a fire (with an ocean view). Katie and her family are seriously the nicest, and they are so passionate about their land as it’s been in the family for years. Such a cool place to stay!
