While a "no-frills" park, we uniquely feature an on-site RV service technician, nearby golf, IDK bar and grill, and Walmart/DoorDash delivery directly to your site. Please note that Sites 1-8 are 50-amp (and 20 amp) only (30-amp adapters available for $20/each from us with prior notice), and guests assume full responsibility for their party and property upon reservation. Sites 9-12 have 20, 30, and 50 amp connections. NORTH DAKOTA NOTICE OF ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND LIABILITY DISCLAIMER. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. BY RESERVING A SITE, YOU ARE GIVING UP CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS. By reserving a site and entering the premises of American RV Park, all guests, visitors, and invitees ("Guests") expressly agree to the terms of this Release of Liability and Indemnification Agreement. 1. Acknowledgment & Assumption of Risk: Guests acknowledge that staying at an RV park involves inherent risks, including but not limited to risks from natural elements, severe North Dakota weather events, trees, wildlife, uneven terrain, campfires, utility connections, power surges, water or sewer service interruptions, and the actions of other guests. Guests voluntarily elect to enter the premises and assume any and all risks of property damage, personal injury, illness, or death. 2. Release of Ordinary Negligence: To the maximum extent permitted under North Dakota law, Guests hereby waive, release, and forever discharge American RV Park (including its owners, management, employees, and affiliates) from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action for personal injury, death, property damage, loss, or theft resulting from the ordinary negligence of the park or its staff. 3. Indemnification: Guests agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless American RV Park from any and all claims, costs, expenses, damages, or attorney fees arising out of or resulting from the Guest's own actions, the actions of their minors/invitees, or their stay at the park. If any portion of this agreement is held invalid under North Dakota law, the remainder of the agreement shall continue in full legal force and effect.

Very nice campground. easy access. They are just getting started so gave them some grace. No picnic table. I felt very safe there, I'm traveling alone. Had to wait a bit on the edge of town as they were having a parade, and fireworks that night.

We really enjoyed our stay at American RV Park. We would absolutely stay here again if we’re ever traveling through. Jason and Angela were wonderful and our pull through spot was wide and grassy. We had a tire issue on our fifth wheel while we were there and Jason came by to look at it and provided a recommendation on where to take it to get it looked at. In addition to that, they held our spot just in case we needed to return while waiting for a part for it. Thankfully we were able to continue on the road but we were so grateful for their help, hospitality and great location! We stayed here to explore the south unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park. it was a perfect location for it. We don’t love being in the middle of the touristy spots so this worked perfectly for us. The view was fantastic! The only possible concern would be if you are a light sleeper, it is right next to a pretty active railroad. However, we loved it! We got to see a train carrying windmill blades which was pretty cool!

This was an no frill's site in a small town with all the amenities. Plenty of room for backing in sewer, water and electrical all.Easily accessed. About 20 minutes from a larger city that has restaurants etc.

Great location only 30 minutes to Medora and the Teddy Roosevelt National Park South Gate and 45 minutes to the North gate. Only 15 minutes from Dickinson, a large city. Quiet little new campground. Our sites are level but in the grass. Plenty of parking for our towed vehicle. The utilities are new. I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely Stay & close to TR Nat'l Par

Great RV park for exploring Teddy Roosevelt Nat'l Park, Medora, and the Enchanted Hwy. Site was mostly level, 50amp electric was strong, good water pressure, & spacious. Jason and Angela are great hosts and even helped a neighbor with his camper issue. Park is small and clean, grass mowed, and far enough off of I94 that there is no hwy noise. There are RR tracks thru town, so you will hear the trains from time to time. When back thru the area, we will definitely stay again, but will try to get sites 8 or 12 for an unobstructed view to the south.

Overall not a bad experience,just wasn't thinking it was in between residential area which some were pretty run down. Site twelve was nice as it faces the open field. Long site with full hookups. Lawn was mowed and area was clean. Jason and Angela very welcoming and friendly. Served our purpose for exploring the area, especially Theodore Roosevelt National Park and Medora . Also close to the Enchanted Highway.

This was a great spot to be at for our 2 week stay. Right off the highway and fairly close to town. Very clean and very friendly; they even had an open invitaion gathering at one of the sites to watch sports on the projector the first night we were there. Basically in a well kept open field with good hookups and lots of support if needed! They have a dumpster that gets trash pick-up every week so we had no space issues with garbage. And theres a small section of field for our dog to run! Traveling cross country means hitting a lot of empty areas, so we were so thankful to find this space at such an affordable cost.

This space was great, though a little hard to find in the dark — glad I went by during the day. If I had known I would be out so late the night of my stay, I probably would’ve found a truck stop to sleep a few hours at instead. Because I caught a sunset and stargazing in the north unit and a sunrise in the south, I was only here for a few hours. I’m hoping I didn’t disturb anyone when I accidentally set my car alarm off in the wee hours. It was great to know I had a place to stay and, especially if you’re in an RV, this is a great spot.

Nice grass lots with full hook ups that were pretty level and very spacious. Gravel roads with easy in and out. Close easy access to I-94 but far enough away to be very peaceful. Extremely nice and accommodating host/manager. So much better than the dirt/dust bowl we were in at Medora. Onsite RV Tech which is a huge plus if you have a problem!

Very clean Campground with a beautiful view. The host was very friendly and helped me hook up my camper. Unfortunately really bad weather was rolling in I wouldn't have known if it was not for the host who told me there was 100 mph winds on their way. My family and I quickly left but would love to stay there again for longer!

Easy area to find. Only a 30minute drive to Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Easy set up process. No bath house available though or amenities. The spots are dirt/grass. The view is beautiful of the sky. If you need a stop for the night, it works.

Directions were easy to follow. Jason was very friendly and greeted us. Spot was level, grassy and really easy to pull into. We had the entire area to ourselves as there was no one camping near us. View out our door was beautiful. Very pleased with the entire experience!

Jason and Angela, the camp hosts, came by to introduce themselves and see if we needed any assistance. We ended up chatting for quite awhile. Nice people. Loved the campground as it is totally grass which kept the dirt down, a big plus with 2 dogs. It was quiet and close to Dickinson due grocery shopping and close to Teddy Roosevelt National Park. We would stay there again if we're in the area!
