Pasture Paradise
Amazing campsite!
I would highly recommend this campsite. Matt was an amazing host! He guided us up the mountain, helped us start our fire, and was warm and welcoming. This was a gorgeous spot, we loved our time here!

GORGEOUS
Honestly, this place was spectacular. We were there for what must have been peak fall colors, and it was amazing. The weather was insane, and we should have taken Matt up on his offer to sleep in the barn, but it was so gorgeous I’d sleep in our car again in a heartbeat! The views are even better than the pictures. It was wonderful, and I hope we will be able to come here again!

Pasture Paradise
The spot is as beautiful as the pictures! Matt's dad helped me me out with a fire (and an extra fly!) and the big rock pit sufficiently blocked the wind. Google maps didn't get the address exactly right but I found it a few houses down and had 4G (verizon) the whole time. Matt's dad pointed out the mountains (elk knob, rich, snake, grandfather) and assured me most noises I would hear would be white-tail deer. Besides the very loud owl right before bed, I think he was right! Enjoyed a quick but lovely sunset and watched the sky change into stars. For a first-time female solo camper, I felt pretty safe and woke up to the fall views, glad I had stayed here instead of a more crowded, less scenic option.

This campsite comes with a breathtaking view and complete privacy. What more could you ask for? We enjoyed exploring the woods near the site and Matt was a very nice and helpful host. The campsite is only twenty minutes from Boone so we were able to pop into town for a bit too! We will definitely come back.

Great location with beautiful views, very peaceful with no light or noise pollution. Got to watch the stars half the night until the rain started. Beautiful misty morning, made waking up and starting the day a great experience. Perfect site for car (4WD) camping. Thanks Matt!

Amazing! Even better than the pics
Matt is a super nice guy and thoroughly helpful throughout our stay. The campsite it absolutely stunning, set on the ridge overlooking rolling pastures that are part of the farm. From sunrise to sunset the views and placement of the site are breathtaking. Stoked to have found this place and will be back as soon as we can.
