Sitting on twenty two mountainside acres, our pasture, gardens, and forest house two permanent human dwellings and a three-stall barn. We’ve worked hard to put several systems in place around this budding farm (many of which are still evolving), and are excited to share our adventure with visitors! Wonderland is a beautiful, peaceful, working farm. A nice mix of relaxing mountain time and the steady bustle of farm life. We have hiking trails on the property that you can enjoy and are close by to many lovely places to visit. Check out the trout pond at Ferguson's Supply Mart, just 5 minutes down the road, Max Patch, Harmon's Den Wilderness Area, Lake Junaluska, Waynesville (20inutes drive), and Asheville (40 minutes drive)! We aim to flow as an intentional mindful neighborhood, and are blessed to be surrounded by wonderful, respectful neighbors. BASIC CARE FOR COMMUNAL SPACES When you enter a space, take note of the set-up of the objects in it upon entering, so you can pick up after yourself effectively. We are thrilled to have danced our way through our first two years of existence (mostly gracefully) and now are opening to our third year of thriving, which includes sharing the marvels of this place with visitors like you! Our focus here at Wonderland is to create a living space for experimenting in life and reskilling together- creating a new world. We have a passionate focus on primitive skills and exploring cultures old and new to create a thriving sustainable world together. We are potters, butchers, equestrians, artists, archers, blacksmiths, and dancers. This land is an inclusive space, welcoming all peoples and all bodies. Shaming and prejudice of any sorts is not welcome here. This is our baby, so please treat this land and its inhabitants kindly. ASK QUESTIONS! We are happy to share our journey with you and want you to feel cozy here, so let us know if there is anything you need!

Wonderland Hollow Tree Tent
We were not greeted and there were no covers on the bed. Also, there was no privacy and we kept hearing people walk past the tent. Unfortunately, it was in the middle of a few other residences and the land/view did not look like the pictures.

Wonderland Hollow Tree Tent
Glamping R and R
The Wonderland Hollow Tree Tent was a peaceful glamping experience in a gorgeous, pastoral landscape. Upon our arrival, our host, Christina, and her sweet dog, Zephyr, greeted my husband and I and gave us a tour of the property. This Hipcamp is a working farm with horses, pigs, ducks, and more. Christina was so kind to share her knowledge with us regarding stewardship, animal husbandry, and sustainable land management. The property itself was pristinely picturesque---a harmonious marriage of mountain views and rural landscape; Hand-made, artistic structures and accents were found throughout the property, and there were many great spots to relax and enjoy the scenery. During our short stay at Wonderland Hollow Tree Tent, we lodged in the glamping tent on the property. The tent was well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. It was quiet and cozy. Close to the lodging, a lovely outdoor shower, as well as a clean outhouse and outdoor kitchen area were available to use. It was just the right amount of comfort for an easy-going camping experience. Thank you for sharing your Hipcamp with us, Christina. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at Wonderland Hollow Tree Tent. It was a pleasure meeting you, and all your farm friends.

Wonderland Hollow Tree Tent
What a special treat!
Staying at the wonderland tree tent was so awesome! I absolutely loved it, the tent was so adorable and had lots of space! The country side was amazing, it wasn’t too hard to find, just read directions carefully as you pull up to her road. I felt safe there, her neighbors were friendly and helpful. The wifi worked just fine down by the outdoor kitchen. My favorite part was the outdoor shower, looking up at the mountains while I was washing my hair, the water was nice and warm. Soaked up some good mountain energy. I also really enjoyed waking up to the sound of a bunch of birds singing and relaxing in the hammock with a good book. Comfy bed and the composting toilets were clean and well stocked. Christina was very kind and happy to answer questions about her homestead, wish I had more time for a farm tour! I only stayed one night solo but hope to be back again in the future with more friends!

Wonderland Hollow Tree Tent
A Blissful Night in the Hollow
I had the most incredible time on Christina’s farm. The tent was absolutely lavish, with drapes and cute knickknacks. I fell asleep to the sound of tree frogs singing in the Appalachian night and the gentle whisper of the wind. The morning birds greeted me for breakfast, and I soaked in the views of the valley and watched turkeys grazing in the field. It made for the perfect getaway.
