Waxhaw Country at its best! Very secluded 16 acres that is sparsely wooded with mostly old hard woods. Very peaceful and quiet in Waxhaw, NC with farm animals to watch during your stay. We have goats, cows, mini donkeys, dogs, cats and a pony. We have bottle babies several times a year and offer feeding times. We are also starting to offer day trips for those who wish not to camp overnight. Message for more details on anything. Should have babies through September 2023 possibly longer we are waiting on more to be born. This is a special place, a happy place and our Haven. It’s not really a camp ground It’s an actual working farm. We have animals of all ages here. We Have goats, cows, donkeys, dogs, cats and a pony. You get to come and tent camp in the woods or be right beside our hay barn next to cows and goats. Walking to the bath/club house you can pet a cow or goat or two on the way. We almost always have some baby animals. And you can come cuddle them. And hike in the woods. Sit by a campfire or just plain have some peace and quiet. Yes we are pet friendly. Seeing, watching and petting the animals is free to all our campers. But they are so many extras so much to do free or a small fee. All campers have use of the bath/club house at no charge. You can shower and rest in the ac/heat. Also we have a tv and dvd player. Free to use by all campers We very much hope you will come join us on the farm! So much to do. Walk the 16 acres, sit and watch the farm animals. We having sitting areas around the outside of the pastures so you can sit and enjoy. You may pet the animals too. Just watch those fingers. We have a lot of youngsters here. And please never feed them. Nutrition is a big thing on the farm. All these are included in your campsites no extra charge. We do have extras you can purchase to do. But the above things are just for you to enjoy. Also take a moment and look at the Hipcamp website on a browser. App doesn’t always let you know what we are doing and what we are up to. Owners are empty nesters that raised their family here for over 25 years. The owners are also artist and crafters. The art is available to be viewed and purchased. We also offer craft classes for all ages from preschool to adults of all ages and the fee depends on the craft. The property is very near Cane Creek Park daily use for the public and a short 2 minute drive to the main entrance of Cane Creek Park. That's where the biking, hiking, walking, fishing and boating can be done. yes there is room for your boat to be parked at the site. Google Cane Creek Park Union County NC for information on the Park. Yes you can walk to the park as well just a little longer than driving. You can eat your meals and watch deer and rabbits among other wildlife visitors and you can view the farm animals from your camp sites as well. Whether it is for just one person or and couple or a family with children or older parents there is room for everyone. Our RV campsite is cleared and flat area already at the barn that has an RV hook up, electric only. You just dry camp (no sewer or water hook ups). Wheelchairs can be used around the Barnside RV site. There is room for a tent or another small camper with the RV site but will require an extra fee. This campsite we are working to make more private you can see a neighbors house on the backside only but we are working on a live privacy fence just going to take a little time for everything to grow. the neighbors are very quiet and keep to themselves. you will here the animals more than the neighbors. The bathroom is a short walk to the bath house and kitchen but a beautiful little walk and you see wildlife and the farm animals on your way. This is a spot you can come and hide if you want to. If you just want to get away and not be bothered this is the space for you. There is a bath house with toilet and shower free to campers. Also a kitchen available this extra does have a small fee to cover propane, water and electricity. There is a stove, frig, sink a place to sit for a couple of people to sit and eat. This is free to all campers. Please bring your own food, soaps, toiletries and towels. The bathroom and kitchen are an apartment over a detached garage so there is a flight of stairs no wheel chair access. We have farm animal adventures available as well. You can brush a goat, cow, donkey or pony. We also have a Farm Hand Experience check out the extras. No riding available just brush or pet these animals. Also a few times a year we have bottle babies that can be scheduled for our campers to feed them a bottle and play with them. Bottle feeding is not available year round so please ask ahead of time if we have them. We have rules that are a must to do these adventures. We will let you know ahead time if you schedule an animal adventure. Truly is a sanctuary here but you can easily commute to Charlotte Metro Area anywhere in Union and Lancaster County or surrounding areas. You can bring your boat plenty of parking here at the farm and many nice lakes around to fish or play. There is water at the property we just do not have it available to hook up to RV’s currently. So bring your water cubes and we can fill them for you. You can pitch a tent or bring an RV for this camping site. We are making more improvements every week. More campsites coming. We have fire pits. Yes pets welcome on leash or can run in designated areas. We are now offering day trips, farm hand experiences, romantic campfires, small group get together aka party. You do have to book on hipcamp as the Farm Day Trip and choose your Extras for your activities. No you do not have to camp over night. But for a day trip you must book here on hipcamp. Come and be in the middle of the woods with a wildlife view and farm view. This site requires 4 wheel drive in wet weather. You can see deer, rabbits, birds and more wildlife, also on the farm we have cows, donkeys, goats and a pony. you can sleep in your tent right beside the farm animals enclosures and will see wildlife come and go as well. the campsite is level and has a fire pit. No electric at this site but a quiet generator is allowed. Clean water on the property but not at the site. Bathroom a short distance from the sites. If interested in feeding bottle cow & goats sign up. Yes there is a small fee.

White Stone Farm is offering group outings for those who are local or do not wish to camp overnight. Currently you must book through hipcamp even though you are not staying all night. And then book the extras you wish to while you are visiting These groups up to 6 people of all ages for 2 hours this includes a campfire with s’mores, playtime with the animals and bottle feeding (when we have bottle babies) Extras that have an extra fee are Listed below - [ ] Farm Hand Experience $60 experience Spend a morning or an evening being a farm hand. Help feed and take care of the animals. Learn what it is like to live On a farm. Children under 16 must have a paying parent . - [ ] Charcoal for group $10 The charcoal grills are free to use. But charge for charcoal - [ ] Homemade Cinnamon Bread $20 Homemade Cinnamon Bread delivered to your campsite. AM or PM. Please order ahead for the bread. - [ ] Craft Classes or Nature Scavenger Hunt $50 for your group if you choose age group all ages can participate. Please give a few hours notice you would like to do this under 3 years old free with paying family member - [ ] A meal at a campsite. These do require 12 hours notice for most meals Children under 5 years old free with parent If you are a day trip camper you will have an extra 2 hrs at a campsite after your farm day trip To have your meal with your group Spaghetti with or with out meatballs and garlic bread $12 a person Chicken and dumplings includes stuffing $12 a person Pork BBQ meal includes green or baked beans and buns $15 a person (requires 24 hrs notice)

Very secluded 16 acres that is sparsely wooded with mostly old hard woods. A great place to just sit and relax or use as a home base as you do things around Union County or the Charlotte Metro area. It's very peaceful and quiet in Waxhaw, NC with farm animals to watch during your stay. We have goats, cows, mini donkeys, dogs, cats and a pony. Please check out our extras for your stay The property is very near Cane Creek Park daily use for the public and a short drive to the main entrance of Cane Creek Park. You cannot see any neighbors and so much space it will always be secluded. The small towns of Waxhaw & Monroe, NC and Lancaster, SC all are about 15-20 minutes from your stay and have shopping and Restaurants and Bars. Lots and lots of adventures to experience here from birth to retirement. If you like to hike there are many different parks around to do so. Also a great place to stop and stock up on supplies. There are many National stores close by to stock up. You can eat your meals and watch deer and rabbits among other wildlife visitors. Whether it is for just one person or and couple or a family with children or older parents there is room for everyone. There is a cleared and flat area already at the barn that has an RV hook up, electric only. You just dry camp. Truly is a retreat but you can easily commute to Charlotte Metro Area anywhere in Union and Lancaster County or surrounding areas. You can bring your boat plenty of parking and many nice lakes around to fish or play. There is water at the property we just do not have it available to hook up to RV's currently so bring your water cubes and we can fill them for you. We enjoyed our stay for several days with the farm animals and were greeted by Debi and Dave the lab as soon as we arrived. Such a cool spot and away from all the city lights yet close enough to run to the store if needed. Debi was great and very communicative the entire stay. Would definitely come back to stay again!

We had the best time tent camping here! My fiancé and I wanted to take our two year old daughter camping for the first time and after lots of research and reviews, I found Debi. This was a perfect spot for our girls first time! Not only did she have all the room to run and play, she got to see all the goats, donkeys, pony, dogs, kitty & chickens! Debi went above and beyond for us, we were late getting there and it was dark but Debi left the barn lights on for us and greeted us. She was very friendly and accommodating. We took everything we thought we’d need but ended up forgetting the chocolate for the s’mores, a quick message to Debi and we had chocolate for the evening! I highly recommend and would absolutely stay here again!!!

We had a wonderful time camping. Bathroom facilities were convenient and nice. Kids loved skipping rocks on the pond. And of course meeting all the goats and Oliver the donkey was the highlight. All 3 kids said they wanted to go back!

We had a great night! Easy to find, and the campsite near the red barn is flat which was great for our rooftop tent. Debi and Jeff checked in on us a few times to make sure we had everything we needed! Amazing hosts! We spent time with the baby goats, and our daughter loved seeing all of the farm animals! Including waking up so close to them. We loved walking around the property and looking at nature. The indoor bath was a huge perk! Highly recommend!

Super quiet farm, I had such a relaxing time camping here this weekend. I will definitely come back. Really enjoyed being able to get a hot shower. Next time I’ll try the chicken and dumplings.

Communication: When planning our trip, Debi responded almost immediately and answered all of our questions thoroughly. Gracious host: Debi paused her dinner to come out and greet us upon our arrival. She gave us a friendly tour and introduced us to each of the cows and goats. Debi homeschooled her kids and was absolutely lovely with our children. The little things....Her husband was working in the barn late in the day and realized that we were going to be home after dark so he turned the lights on just to make our return to the area a little easier. Covered Barn: We tent camped near at the RV site near the hay barn during the hot, muggy and rainy NC summer season. There happened to be space in the barn for our tents and Debi allowed us to set up in the barn. There was a layer of hay on the ground which made for a soft surface to sleep. Since we were under a covered structure we kept the rain fly off of our tent. We stayed cool and dry even during a downpour on a hot summer night. Amenities: We had access to a clubhouse that has A/C, a shower, a fridge, a stove, microwave and a coffee maker. There also was a TV and a couch. The kids were able to relax and watch TV while we showered and prepared breakfast. Private/ Quiet: The only sounds that we heard at night were the songs of the frogs and crickets. Even the cows were quiet. Debi has at least two campsites. We were the only campers at the time.

We loved this spot! The Google coordinates got us right there, and the red barn is easy to spot. We pulled a pop-up camper and were very comfortable. The hosts greeted us and are so friendly and accommodating. The Red barn is at the front of the property and very private. We loved being right next to the cows! Cookie was leaving the farm the weekend we stayed, but he was quite the talkative sir and fun to interact with. To get to the Club House/Bath House is a bit of a walk but very enjoyable. You pass by the goat pens and they had several adorable babies. The club house/ bath house has a coffee maker, a kitchen, a living area, tv, laundry and a full bathroom. It was so much more than we expected. It helped us as we had to get ready to attend a wedding on Saturday. This is spot is a 12 min drive from Downtown Waxhaw which is an adorable area with some great restaurants and taverns. Highly recommend!

Debi was genuinely welcoming and wonderful. The property was fantastic and the unit was clean and the right kind of rustic. Would definitely book again. Hope she’s able to get more pictures uploaded because the ones for Sandy’s treehouse didn’t quite do the experience justice.

We had a fantastic weekend. Debra and Jeff are the nicest couple. They made us feel welcome, helped get us settled at our site. Made sure we had everything we needed. We hung out with the baby goats and other farm animals all weekend, feeding them, patting them and just watching them play/interact. We walked the property line and saw the larger cows up in the field. The trip into town was close to Waxhaw and a yummy homemade creamery. They really love their animals and we’re happy to spend time talking to us. The kids fell in love with the baby goats and wanted to take them home. We will be back to watch them grow and see what’s new on the farm. Highly recommend the Hipcamp to everyone.

We had a great stay - beautiful place! We caught the trees around peak and the weather also cooperated. Debi and Jeff were very friendly and made us feel at home. There is water and restroom nearby if needed. We had an off-road camper and a Jeep and were able to get back into the tent/pop-up camper area just fine. The drive there in the rural area had some great scenery as well. We didn't have time to spend with the animals - maybe next time. We'll be back.

We loved camping at this spot! Debi and Jeff were great hosts and the setup was perfect for us! Our dogs had a great time and we loved seeing the farm animals. Feeding the baby goat and cow was icing on the cake to our perfect trip. We loved this spot and we can’t wait to stay there again!

A Warm Welcome and Happy Goats

The Barnside RV spot was perfect for our needs as we stayed one night during a cross-country roadtrip. We received a warm welcome and great tour of the farm and the animals upon arrival. Even though we were tent camping, we reserved the RV spot to have a shelter from some stormy weather. We were able to pitch our tent under cover, which was an added bonus! We loved the goats in the pen nearby and meeting the baby goats during their feeding. The bathhouse was a also a welcome feature, with a full bathroom and a sink to refill our water containers. Debi has a great spot here!

We drove away today smiling from ear to ear. The whole drive home we kept talking about our amazing experience. How lovely, kind, and welcoming Deb and Jeff are. How much fun we had when we fed baby goats with bottles, brushed cows, horses, and donkeys. We hiked to the Cane creek, back at camp we had s’mores, at the most amazing fire-pit crafted by the artist and master forger Jeff. Hence the name White Stone Farm and Forge. There are beautiful white quartz stone strewn throughout the land and then Jeff’s forge is on the property as well. We truly hated when it was time to go home. Their space, their home, their land, and our campsite all gave vibes of peace and tranquillity. It heals your soul truly. While your less than twenty minutes from town you get the feeling you’re hours away from anywhere. Don’t look further. Stay here! You won’t regret it!!
