120 acre farm and home. Land consist of woodland and fields for crops. Farm is located on 80 acre lake with awesome view of lake and Fishers Peak from campsites. You can fish, hike, swim and visit sites in Mt Airy and Galax. Only 15-20 minutes from Blue Ridge Music Center. There is 110 power on site and small covered shelter. 2 miles from Exit 1 on I77 in VirginiaSite one is a 20x12 tent pad. It sits just above the lake. A floating dock and covered shelter is 40 yards away. There is 110 power at the dock with lights. Everything is right on site. A Port-a-Jon is nearby. There is another tent pad on site and you can use both. A fire pit and chairs are next to tent pads. Tents sites are covered by tree canopy. So no direct sun.

The weekend spent on Dwight's land was the best weekend I've had in a while!! It quickly became my favorite camping spot in NC when I saw how close we were to the water, that there was a shelter with a table and chairs for when it rained, options to set up tents, and the stars were beautiful at night. Not to mention, my dogs had an amazing time!! They enjoyed swimming, fetching the ball, riding on the paddle boards/kayaks, and running their little hearts out. Dwight was very accommodating and allowed us to use his gator so my mini van didn't get stuck from the rain. He also had VERY clean porta potties which impressed me because I usually avoid those things like the plague.. The only thing I would have changed was out of Dwight's control, and that was the fire ban across the entire state of North Carolina right now. If there wasn't a ban, we would have absolutely used his fire ring!! I already have plans to come back and cannot wait for my kids to experience this as well
