Such a cool property! One where you almost don't want to leave a tremendous review so it stays a hidden gem! But I wouldn't do that to Shawn - he was a very communicative host and very kind.
-We stayed at Beaver Beach, and it was perfectly tucked in the corner with the creek along one whole side - our vehicle was parked 20-30' away, ground was solid with minimal roots/rocks.
-You are able to see the other campsite (awakenings), but probably 150-200yds away with trees and a field between. And the trailhead to the waterfall is near Beaver Beach, so expect a few friendly folks to walk by.
-The waterfall belongs in a national park; it's that cool. Being the only ones exploring it was surreal.

WaterFall WonderLust
This site was the perfect place for relaxation and adventure. The sounds of the babbling creek are super tranquil. The property has a few great hikes through the woods with a really cool waterfall to check out. There is a road that is near the site but it is very low traffic and is partially covered by trees. Shawn was a great host that accommodated us at the last minute and gave us lot of recommendations.

Shawn’s property truly is a little slice of paradise. The campsites were private and beautiful, and the waterfall was such a hidden gem! Far enough off the beaten path to feel secluded but still close enough to town and hiking. 10/10 would recommend.

My brother and I rarely get an opportunity to spend time together, just the two of us, apart from kids and life's chaos. We are veteran campers and this place was a genuine treat. Beautiful private location, conveniently accessible, property owner was kind and responsive. A truly special little mountain nook. We can't wait to come back and bring our six and seven-year old daughters! Perfect for some top shelf creek stomping and in a peaceful and serene environment.

What an amazing experience at Paw Paw Creek! We are big campers spending an average of 30+ nights a year camping. This is a new favorite - absolutely magical. There’s a waterfall just a few minutes walk away and the pictures don’t do it justice. We spent hours there watching our golden retriever swim and fetch rocks while enjoying the butterflies and sounds of nature. You’re completely submerged in nature, and it’s easy to forget the rest of the world exists. Completely private. My boyfriend Charlie said privacy was the best part - once you cross the bridge, you leave everything behind: No people, no cars, and nothing to worry about.
The site is right on a creek and easily accommodates two tents (though we had one.) Fire pit, plenty of wood to source from the land (it’s very moist so works for fire masters, or bring some dry wood and fire starter.) At night you can hear frogs galore and there were not many mosquitos at all. Sooo many butterflies in every direction. It was truly magical and we will definitely be back soon.

Site was very clean and quite a bit larger than expected which made for some lovely walks. Waterfall area was amazing- a hidden gem. Shawn was very communicative and responsive. Highly recommend!

Staying here with my family was wonderful! The site was very nice, the creek next to the tent was great at night. The waterfall was amazing, very nice area to stay, while also being close enough to town! Host was very nice as well!
