Our Spa is now available for booking! We are a constantly evolving location. Our goal is to provide a genuine secluded camping experience immersed in nature in a mountainous forest with privacy and well spaced out, secluded camp sites. We also have minimal light pollution, so our skies are beautiful for viewing the stars. We offer trails through natural wooded habitat with hidden gems of nature. Wildlife viewing throughout. There are feed locations to increase viewing opportunities. A creek on the property is lovely for walking. Centered between Charlotte and Asheville we are within your reach! We offer primitive tent camping, Glamping Tents and a Cabin. Glamping and cabin have a private Mountain View, fire pit area, Queen bed, Night Stand (built in phone charger), Desk area, interior and exterior lighting, heater and fan (powered by solar system). As a part of Starlight Hills Campground you have access to filtered drinking water, common overlook (w/ BBQ pits & picnic tables), trails, bathroom and showers. Welcome to bring all your furry family members ❤️. Please Note: 2 Wheel Dr. vehicles can access all of our sites. Gravel/ Dirt road up hill.

Tiny House Glamping Mountain View
Decent camping ground, awesome view
The owners were super nice and the property has some really great views! The overview spot was lovely, and there are some trails as well. We had the glamping cabin, which is essentially a shed with a bed in it, so I don't feel like that was worth $100 a night. We had friends camping at a site and the sites were closer than we thought they'd be. The only bathrooms are also down at the bottom of the hill, which sucked a lot, but the outdoor showers were nice. Overall it was a decent experience!

Glamping Done Right
MTG 1 at Starlight Hills campground was amazing. The view is great and this site is located right next to the hangout for everyone, so there are easily accessible hammocks set up that you can watch the sunset in. We were the only glampers there so we had the entire place to ourselves. Port a potties were super clean and an easy walk from the campsite. We arrived at 6PM and found the zipper on the bug screen door was broken and the owner was there in 10 minutes and fixed it super quick. There's a fan and lights inside the tent and fairy lights outside of the tent. The other glamping sites don't have as great of a view but they are all very pretty in their own way. We'll definitely be returning.

Camp ground was beautiful, very quiet and peaceful. We stayed at MTG 2 site, was really hot , not a ton of shade and tent got very hot during the day. I would recommend bringing a large battery operated fan if you go in summer months (no electric). I think we would definitely return but on cooler months. Showers were nice and felt great at end of the day. Trails were cool and fun to explore. Overall we had a nice time!

Family friendly camping!
Our family went on our very first tent camping trip and it was amazing! #2 was so spacious and laid out great but be prepared for tree roots. (Be careful walking!) We were nervous going with a two year old but with fresh water, bathrooms and showers so conveniently located it was a breeze. The lookout area was beautiful and the hammocks were the perfect touch for relaxing!
