Once a three car garage now converted into a working artists studio, this property is a creative and peaceful home. The owner, a former contractor and artist Martha McKinley Murphy and Shane have changed this into a place where sculpture, art and harmony blend into a haven and retreat enjoyed by many.

We have to say Martha’s Magnolia Tree is pretty awesome! It was a cool experience to camp under its shelter. Nice that we could move the tent to other spots and enjoy the starry night sky as well. Cool outdoor shower was refreshing in the hot August temperatures. 😊 Would like to try in the fall sometime to make use of the other amenities like having a 🔥 campfire. Shane and Martha are friendly and welcoming hosts. All in all it’s a 10!

Star Fall Station was a dang blast! We were here during the hostile hot late August but boy did the massive magnolia tree make it bearable and the most magical. Martha and Shane are the most excellent of hosts. I left a pair of my beloved chacos behind and they went above and beyond and mailed them for me. Highly recommend their property. The outdoor shower was just stellar. 5 ⭐️’s!

Welcoming and beautiful!
We loved staying at Starfall Station! My boyfriend and I got in pretty late and Shane was still there to greet us and get us set up. When it was too dark/buggy to comfortably pitch our tent he had no problem upgrading us to their awesome guest house for the night! The next morning Martha gave us some coffee and we walked through her studio, it was incredibly cool :) Martha and Shane are such nice people and this place is absolutely worth the stop.

Star Fall Station
Because of bad weather and some terrified pups, we couldn’t make our trip. Martha, throughout the whole experience, was constantly in contact with us, letting us know about conditions and getting updates on our situation. She could not have been more accommodating or kind. We’ll be visiting her as soon as we can arrange new dates.

Wonderful place by the beach!
Shane and Martha are incredible hosts! Their space is so lovely. The path around the pond is really peaceful. The kids loved the chickens, ducks, and meeting their sweet dogs. The magnolia tree is indeed magical. The outdoor shower was just delightful! We have three children and we were camping in the middle of the heat of the summer and storm season (what were we thinking!) but Shane and Martha went above and beyond to accommodate us… when a severe thunderstorm hit in the night they let us take shelter in the tiny house. So kind!
Don’t miss walking through the art studio. Incredible art is all over the property. It is a delightful place to be!
We really loved Sunset Beach, especially walking down to the beach to bird island. So beautiful!
We hope to come back sometime in the Fall! It was truly wonderful.
