Some friends couldn't understand when we moved to southeast NC without any PLAN for our future. We are just happy to be alive each and every day that we are here. We are located in southeast NC, approximately 15-20 miles from area beaches. Our location is very "country" with lots of wildlife (deer, fox, rabbits, birds, etc...) roaming about. It is very quiet in the evenings and overnight. The campsite has a large paver stone patio and picnic table. We have a fire pit and when able we would be happy to host a night around the fire. We are pet friendly but request that dogs be on a leash or tie-out. We expect guests to pickup pet "litter".
Campers are encouraged to use the swing and chairs set back under the pines. Also campers will find a guest book in the little library under the pine tree with a concrete bench nearby (you drive around in as you pull into the campsite). The book contains our WiFi password (service not guaranteed). Please leave us a note about your stay.

Partially cleared private land with a gravel parking spot, tucked in an area of farmland mixed with some expansion. Glamp in your rv and enjoy the countryside. Yes! Only 15 minutes away from downtown Wilmington. Go walk the riverfront, take a riverboat ride, visit a brewery and definitely go to see the battleship! This site is also a short drive to Wrightsville Beach approximately 20 minutes. (Going In yet another direction) The land is a 20 minute drive to charming Southport with shops, restaurants and the chance to see dolphins! Several movies have been filmed in the area. Also nearby you can go to see the Oak Island lighthouse. You can take the ferry from Southport to Bald Head island, ride golf carts and see the Bald Head Island Lighthouse and learn about saving turtles. Visit Carolina Beach (also known as Pleasure Island) which has a boardwalk, arcades, Brit’s donuts and the marina which offers boat cruises. Kure beach is and Carolina beach are both within about a thirty minute drive. On down the road from Kure beach is Historic Fort Fisher and the NC Aquarium. Adventure awaits at whichever direction you choose. Please note that this camp site has no septic, no electric. You can camp with an RV and a generator. There’s no dumpster. Please keep site clean. There is a Community dock nearby (in walking distance from the site) that takes you through a trail in the woods and all the way to a beautiful view of the river! The site is tucked in with farmland but a short drive to conveniences. Lyft rides are available from the site to nightlife in downtown Wilmington! The area where this land is located has begun some expansion and some new homes. The land is located down a country road beyond large areas of fields, on a paved road with some woods. There's some new construction now on the street but there’s no HOA and it is still a peaceful site for glamping. Save money, enjoy a little nature and RV camp!

Great spot! Very private and enough trees to protect from summer sun. There was a tight squeeze driving to the back but we managed our minivan through it, slow and careful. The only downside were loud neighbor dogs that barked late into the night on two occasions- tad hard to drown out even with peaceful forest buzzing, so consider ear plugs if that will bother you. Highly recommended, and can't beat the price!

The spot was chill, and the hosts were even more chill. They made me feel right at home during my week-long stay here— even inviting me to join for them for a wonderful home cooked meal and leading a group motorcycle ride to check out the beaches in the area. The location is a residential area, but quiet and just rural enough. 10/10 would recommend and I will definitely contact my new friends here when I’m back in town.

We loved the Pine Grove. Sites are beautiful. Lots of shade, places to hang hammocks, quiet, nice view of stars. Convenient to the outhouse. Composting toilet is nice! No smell! Farm Dog, Vader, is friendly and was a nice escort to and from our site at times. He is friendly, but did not hang out long. Once we made it to our site, he went back home. Patricia is friendly and easy to talk to. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We will be back :)

This is a sweet, quiet, well kept family campground! We enjoyed the pool, the walking trails, and the wonderful energy of the owners. We stayed at premium site #16, which is quite private and had good space for our dog pen. We even had plenty of room for a screen tent to relax in the evenings.
We had something to do in Wilmington the weekend we stayed at In The Pines, and the commute was also quick and easy.

We had an amazing stay and would absolutely come back! The campsite was peaceful, well-maintained, and thoughtfully set up. One feature we really loved was the "Game Box" filled with outdoor activities. We didn't bring our daughter this trip, but we know she would have had a blast with all the games and activities available.
The location was another huge plus—it was only about 15 minutes from Ocean Isle Beach, which made it easy to enjoy the coast while still having a quiet, relaxing place to stay. I would highly recommend this camping suite to both solo campers and families looking for a comfortable and enjoyable outdoor getaway.
We're already looking forward to coming back for another visit!

George the host was helpful and sent help when we killed out car battery and the property manager (?) Gene came out and helped, and was extremely kind to us!!!!! Beautiful, secluded, peaceful.
