Site 39 - Standard Primitive Tent (Partially Shaded)
Site is very near to the road but not a lot of heavy traffic. Unfortunately, this visit was not as peaceful as past stays due to our neighbor that seems to be a full-time occupant. They had the music playing very loud & was up late into the evenings. The bathhouse was always kept very clean & the attendant was very nice and helpful. For the price u can’t beat it. We have stayed here in the past & appreciate the toilet & hot shower.

Site 43 - Premium Primitive Tent (Shaded)
Relaxing and repeatable!
Great communication. I arrived much later than expected and it was not a problem at all. Site 43 is the best place on the property! My tent was 6 feet from the stream that runs through it. Nicely shaded and backed by mountainside. I’ve never slept better. Totally relaxing and Zen! Everyone is super friendly and helpful. Just a nice drive to Bryson City and the fun there. Great hiking in the area. I’m absolutely going back! Hopefully soon!!

Site 36 - Standard Primitive Tent
Nice
Very nice host would recommend but the sites are very close together. My husband was under the impression that the primative sites were a little more secluded. So we only stayed for a couple hours before packing up and leaving. But it's nice if you like the "community" type camping scene. I wld love to return with a big group of friends or family.

Exceeded Expectations
I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Smoky Mountain Meadows Campground near Bryson City! This campground is the perfect location for outdoor enthusiasts like myself, as it is conveniently close to hiking trails, tubing spots, shops, and restaurants. One thing that stood out to me was how clean and well-maintained the campground was. It's always a pleasure to stay in a place that takes pride in its cleanliness. The surrounding valley with its breathtaking mountain views made for a truly picturesque setting. I also want to echo the sentiments of other reviewers regarding the bathrooms. They were impeccably clean and well-maintained, which is always a major plus when camping. Another great feature of this campground is the small general store located at the entrance. It can come in handy for those last-minute supplies we may have forgotten to pack. Overall, I highly recommend Smoky Mountain Meadows Campground for anyone looking for a memorable camping experience in the Bryson City area. It has everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay, surrounded by the beauty of the Smoky Mountains.

Tranquil
It’s a regular campground that’s quiet. I had a stream behind the campsite that lulled me to sleep! Very nice!
