Super cute cabin! Had everything we needed for the weekend even a s’mores kit!! Host were extremely helpful when we got confused with the lock box. The view was great watching the sunrise with the fog over the trees, plenty of paths to walk if you don’t wanna go to the Stone Mountain trail. We wanted a quiet place to elope with some of our closest friends we got that and so much more. Check out was super easy would definitely recommend for a quiet romantic getaway or even a small family vacation! Pet friendly accommodations for the bestest of pets. I don’t know how much more I can recommend, if you’re on the fence take the leap you won’t regret it in the slightest. We looked a so many other options but ultimately kept coming back to this one every time and glad we did! Thank you so much to the amazing hosts for having us and allowing us to have this moment here it will never be forgotten

The cabin was great! It was the perfect size for the 5 of us. It was appointed perfectly for just about every activity. The cornhole boards had lights for night play, the smores tackle box was a major hit with the kids, several fishing poles and tackle just in case. Forget your sunscreen and bug repellent; they've got you covered. Is it hotter than the surface of the sun in July; the A/C can keep up with that. Some work to do on vacation; ACTUAL high speed internet to the rescue. Everything was clean and fresh, the grill had propane, was clean, and had its own shelter. The back porch had a wonderful view of the pond. At night we could listen to the frogs croaking at each other for hours. We had such a great time and had zero worries about anything (except about leaving too soon!). We seriously could have stayed another week.

Jeffrey's property was fantastic! He was very flexible with the colder temps and we were able to stay in the cabin which was cozy and relaxing for a winter getaway. Definitely would stay there again!

This was our first time booking a glamping spot on Hipcamp. Usually we do traditional camping so this was a nice treat. We will definitely be back when it’s a little warmer out. Everything you need is there! It’s so nice to have the flushing toilet and hot shower right there. Plus the little kitchen area is nicely equipped. Just be mindful of the steep driveway. Jeffrey went above and beyond to make sure we were as comfortable as possible with it being so cold out. We enjoyed Stone Mountain State Park which is right down road. Don’t hesitate to book here!

RUN! HURRY! Book your dates!!! What an incredibly amazing experience this was. We were looking for a nice quiet place to get out of the hustle and bustle of city life- and this place absolutely provided that and then some. What an awesome experience. Everything was so meticulously thought out and they went above and beyond providing an awesome little getaway. It was so peaceful, quiet, and serene- While the state park was still closed due to Hurricane Helene, we had the best time trailblazing and checking out the property and swinging on the neat little swingset. I can't say enough good things about this place- so hurry, you won't regret it!!

We had such an amazing stay! The accommodations were the best of camping and a 5 star hotel . They thought of everything . Highly recommend it if you want to camp with just enough glam :)

We had a great time at Jeffrey's site. There was everything we needed on site from bathroom to movie projector to dish detergent to wine glasses. The bed was very comfortable. The Stone Mountain General Store is close by as well as the state park so no long car rides to get from place to place!

The host has truly poured so much love into this space. So much attention to detail-coffee supplies, s’mores supplies, all the cooking utensils you can think of, fire pit and supplies, fire wood supplied, camp stove, and an amazing outdoor (hot) shower. The bed was so comfortable and cozy. My 11 year old niece came along for this trip. She absolutely loved the outdoor projector for move night! Stone Mountain is so close to this location. There is also a small country store at the end of the road. My niece enjoyed stopping for ice cream after our hikes at Stone Mountain. I can’t say enough about this amazing space. It was comfortable in every way but we felt so close to nature. It has just enough amenities to keep you comfortable while enjoying the outdoors. Perfect glamping spot! We can’t wait to return.

If you love the woods, you'll love this spot. We were just passing through and didn't have time to take advantage of all this place had to offer but will definitely try to get back. Had all the conveniences we needed and less expensive than a hotel!

Absolutely magical place in the woods. Could have done with a few more pots and pans to cook with but other than that a beautiful place, nestled away, with just the sound of nature to wake you up. Loved it.

We loved the glamping tent! It gives a good combo of feeling like you're tent camping while still having the comforts of a bed, bathroom, and sink. The movie projector is a nice touch. The directions were clear to get there and the property is beautiful. There is a set of swings that was fun and a little pond down a path in the trees. Great getaway!

The hosts thought of everything! Plenty of glamping comforts with the serenity of camping in the woods what else could you ask for? The yurt is so cozy we will have a hard time booking a cabin over this again although we might convince some friends to join us and they can take the cabin. There was plenty of hot water, clean towels, coffee station, camp stove connected to PLENTY of propane. Skillet pans and griddles provided in the kitchen area, we almost didn’t need to bring anything besides ourselves. We’re not sure who loved it more us or our dog.
It did rain while we were there but we were able to enjoy it without a drop in the yurt. The structure kept the yurt completely dry! If you like camping this will be a treat. If you’ve never camped before this will definitely ease you into it. Did we mention they have a movie projector and only minutes away from Stone Mountain State Park?! Add this to your list for a memorable getaway.

The coolest outdoor kitchen/lounge area of anywhere I’ve stayed. It was perfect! Jeffrey was super nice and accommodating. Hope to visit again.
The only thing i suggest is bringing something to barricade your dog, one side of the porch is open. We made it work with the cooler and chairs!

Our stay was awesome! Combines the relaxation of camping with a bit less of the hardship of pitching your own tent and having a flushing toilet. Everything was clean, neat, and had more miscellaneous amenities than we expected and that was appreciated. Stay was easy with our pooch too, and goes along with a lot of things being dog friendly in the area. Easily accessible to the local mountains and town, we’ll stay again if we are in the area!

This trip was the loveliest. The space was private, in the woods, super accommodating, and very clean. We slept well, and the pups were happy as well. Also a 10 minute drive to a great hike on Stone Mountain. Already want to plan our next trip back. Thank you to the hosts!!

We loved the tent camping on Jeffery’s land!! Inside tent was well maintained, clean. Surrounding area was great! Jeffery was great and very tentative. Always responded to our concerns right away.
Overall we had an amazing experience!! Would definitely recommend this for camping lovers!!

We had a fantastic time glamping at Freedom Grove. The deck was spacious and what a treat having the “bath house” right there instead of having to venture into the dark at night. We cooked on the stove which was very easy to use and enjoyed the super hot water for dishes and showers. The tent was cozy but with plenty of space. The bed, pillow and sheets were extremely comfortable. So many nice touches including lighting that was adjustable for every mood. During our stay we explored the grounds, visited the chickens, hiked Stone Mountain State Park which was 5 miles away, tried a winery, had a tasty dinner in Elkin just 20 minutes away and even caught a live bluegrass concert. We stayed 2 nights and my only regret was that we didn’t have time to stay longer.

This was my first glamping experience and I was very happy with Freedom Grove! SO many thoughtful accommodations, little comforts and great communication. We loved the heated blanket for the cold night and the covered deck was perfect to sit and listen to the rainstorm. Plenty of privacy and tranquility. Conveniently located to Stone Mountain, Vineyards, and more. The quick drive into the town of Elkin provided delicious food, live music and shops. The Host really put a lot of thought into making this glamping site a memorable and fun experience. Everything you need is provided. Just bring the food and fun!
