Rushing Waters Tent Site
This is an awesome site with a great host. Holly took the time to walk through the site with us and go over everything as well as provided local recommendations for hikes etc. the site is up somewhat steep incline but we made it in 2WD. Just have to get a head start and not stop. The site is secluded and private and the hot outdoor shower was amazing. Definitely a great spot.

Amazing hideaway in the woods.
This was the perfect getaway for one night. You really feel like you’re secluded up in a forest which we loved. The sound of the stream was so soothing and she generously had firewood and charcoal available to use. The hot shower which is propane powered was amazing with the cool air! She was so friendly and accommodating and met us to show us the ropes and then said goodbye when we left. It’s also a great location and so close to the interstate and Blue Ridge Parkway. I wish we had another day here

Centrally Located, Rain Ready…
Close to some amazing hikes! I really appreciated the cover tent site and amenities. Holly met me at the site and helped me set up my tent. The creek on the background lulled me into a deep sound sleep. Definitely recommend. There is internet if you need it also!

Nice spot, gracious host!
If you’re looking for a spot with a platform and Shelter, this is a great option. The outdoor bathroom is a very nice touch. It really has all that you need for a comfortable camping experience… Table, chairs, fire pit, perfect tent spot, outdoor potty, outdoor shower and if you are interested, the potential of a hot bath. There is a short steep driveway up to the camping spot, with a flat gravel place to park. I made it up there in my Vinny fan, but it’s because I drove up with confidence! You can hear the sound of a creek nearby. The site is situated off of a rural road that you can see and hear from the site. There was only occasional cars that drove past, so it wasn’t bothersome. But, if you want some thing really secluded and hidden away… Just be aware of this. Holly, your host is extremely gracious and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. Also, her Wi-Fi is great… It doesn’t extend all the way to the campsite, but if you walk a short distance down the hill boom, connection!

We cannot say enough wonderful about Holly and her site! She made us feel welcome, and offered direction to what we were looking for (traveling with two dogs), The quite at night is the most we have ever experienced. On a dead end road, on the headwaters of a mountain stream, with 20 vertical acres, it is so extremely peaceful. We left Holly with a gift certificate to say thank you for making our stay so special and enjoyable. We’ve never done that before.

Great place if your not looking for a typical campground. The two sites are very close to each other. The full hook ups were great and Holly is a sweetheart.

We recently stayed at Hollys place at rushing waters for the last week. What a beautiful place! Less then 15 minutes to the highway and close to Asheville and Weaverville. Holly was very accommodating and provided us with internet and had extra water/sewer hoses if we needed them. We would definitely recommend staying here if you get the chance and exploring the Blue Ridge Parkway!

A Great Week at Rushing Waters
We had a great time at Rushing Waters! Holly was an excellent host! The location is beautiful and close to great hiking, zip lining, or a relaxing day at the site. The hummingbirds and butterflies on the property are wonderful company 😊 Our dogs also enjoyed the trip just as much as we did! We definitely plan on visiting again. Thank you Holly!

We stayed at Rushing Waters for 5 days in July. The location is very peaceful with the relaxing background whisper of the creek. Holly is a pleasant host who provided pertinent information about the area. This campsite has water, electricity, and sewer. We enjoyed short hikes on the property and look forward to staying here again.

My partner and our two dogs stayed here for two amazing weeks! My partner works remotely and was able to work from here using Holly’s wifi (no cell service) with no problems. Holly’s place is in a beautiful area in the valley with spectacular views and sounds (stream, birds, etc.) all around. Holly is a great lady. She was so helpful and welcoming the whole time we were there. 10-15 minutes to downtown Weaverville which is a cute little town and has all the stores plus more for anything you might need during your stay. Downtown Asheville is an easy 25 minute drive. It was the perfect location for us and we look forward to hopefully staying again in the future. We would definitely recommend staying here. Thank you Holly for everything! We appreciate you!

Great place for a stay
Had a wonderful time with my camper van at Rushing Waters. Holly is amazing. Everything is set up well for a camper van with an electric, water, and sewer hookup. The surrounding area has great places to drive to to hike and enjoy nature. She is on a very quiet country road, so it was very peaceful. I was traveling alone and felt safe and was able to really relax.

Highly recommend staying here instead of in the city! My husband and I stayed for a long weekend with our camper trailer using the full hook up site. We loved listening to the creek as we fell asleep. The location was perfect to drive into Asheville at night for dinner, to Mt. Mitchell for hiking, and the Blue Ridge Parkway for site seeing during the day. We also visited Weaverville which is only 15minutes away, it's the cutest town with great restaurants and a bakery. You could stay the entire weekend on site without driving far as Holly has a hiking trail on her land that follows the creek, along with several other trails near by, and a fire pit. There is no cell phone reception, however, the wifi worked perfectly and can be used for steaming Netflix or calls if needed. Holly was very friendly, and while this campsite is in her front yard, she gave us privacy. We never saw her other than checking in and out.

Peaceful mountain getaway
Rushing Waters was relaxing. You're able to hear the water all around you. There's plenty of shade to enjoy. It's a peaceful slice of mountain tranquility. You're close to everything you need, but not right in the center of traffic and people. Holly is a great host! She met us and helped us get the fifth wheel situated and gave us recommendations for things close by.

Will definitely be back
As a previous reviewer already mentioned, the campsite is basically in Holly’s yard. However, this was not a concern for me, if I had wanted total isolation, I would have camped in the woods away from civilization altogether. Holly is an amazing host, she’s very accommodating and will give you privacy or company, totally dependent on what you desire. The energy of the location is very relaxing.

Lovely sight, better than expected
The sight was better than expected. Quiet, shady, secluded. And with full hook up. Holly was the nicest host and the wifi is excellent. No phone service, but that is because it is surrounded by mountains. Plenty of room and convenient to hook up. Easy in and out with a 30 ft 5th wheel. We will put it on our list of go to places when in the Asheville area. Definitely go there again.

Cute & Cozy spot in the Valley
We had a wonderful visit, our host was super friendly and welcoming. Even offering to let us use her WiFi while we stayed. The only thing that I wish had been disclosed was this camp site is not private, it’s located right next to the owners home vs a lot further from the property. I could see a bigger group of campers being a bit awkward in that space. Other than that I would highly recommend this spot to couples or individuals.

Easy drive, convenient RV hookups
Holly was beyond understanding when we had a towing glitch which forced us to delay our arrival by a day. She made sure we had what we needed and provided a quiet peaceful spot where we explored and rested. She welcomed our two dogs and we enjoyed great campfires. I enjoyed the subtle solar lights and the flower accents. Her valley area is beautiful and she has great ideas on ways to share more of her property in the future.
