What a beautiful setup Kevin has out there! The bungalow was super comfortable and what a decadent treat having a personal hot tub! It was spotless, stocked with everything needed, and it was such a pleasure speaking to Kevin. Clearly a top notch human being. Couldn’t have been happier and would stay again in an instant.

The stay was amazing! The cabin was the perfect size for us and the dogs! The weather was absolutely beautiful which allows us to go hiking at some nearby trails. The cabin was equipped with anything we could have needed and more. We loved the hot tub and fire pit and were able to see the stars from each spot.
Definitely will be booking a stay in the Fall.
Kevin the host was super nice and accommodating, got to chat with him on our last day before we left. Looking forward to our next stay!!

My husband and I just stayed here. This spot was great! Very well thought out. From providing coffee, basic toiletries, even a collagen face mask! We had all the basics we needed to cook food. Breakfast was on their electric griddle, dinner was cooked over the fire on their campfire grill. They also have a counter top toaster oven with lots of features but we didn't use it. Lots of plants to identify, forage. Cleared path to walk to the top of the mountain. The hot tub was awesome, the deck was where we hungout the most, and the firepit was great (comfy chairs too!) The privacy, ease of check in and check out and all the great touches made this a great spot for us. Cell reception is good. Internet good. We will be back!

The cabin was perfect: all you could imagine needing for a solo retreat in a blissfully quiet and serene location.
Hot tub (pre-warmed!), fire pit (stocked and ready to be made and lit!), cosy weatherproof cabin (it RAINED and was windy for a bit overnight).

we loved our stay at candee mountain! kevin was a great host! he stopped by to make sure all our needs were met shortly after we arrived. we appreciated the seclusion of ocean blue so our dog could roam off-leash without bothering anyone else. the cabin was very clean and the hot tub and views were amazing!

This was a great place to stay. We went with a group that rented out all of the cabins for a group trip, but my wife and I will definitely be back for our own trip. The cabins were clean and well-designed. The property is beautiful, and the owner, Kevin, is a super cool and interesting guy. The hot tubs were perfect, the towns nearby are nice, and there's a lot of hiking potential nearby as well. Booking this place gives you everything you need to experience the mountains in comfort.

We went with a group of friends and stayed in multiple cabins to view the lunar eclipse. We all enjoyed the lodging, hot tubs, cooking over the firet, he views, and the amenities! We met Kevin he is very nice, responsive, and was a fantastic host. All of the cabins were exceptionally clean and well maintained. We really enjoyed all of the small thoughtful touches. Our pooch loved his time as well!

Kevin was a fantastic host, super responsive & gave us perfect details of everything! Very quick to reply. The property is great, with many places to hike. The cabin kept us warm & toasty. The only thing I would recommend is the tv mount be adjustable, it’s not a great angle to watch from the couch. But hey, you don’t go to sit & watch the TV! Beautiful views, would recommend to everyone, especially great for dogs that like to hike with their families!

We stayed in Sky Blue and it was perfect! The views are amazing, the hot tub is luxurious, and the cabin was delightful. It’s the perfect amount of space for two people with lots of attention to detail and little extras. Fyi, bring any pots/pans you may need, but everything else is provided! The space is clean and the communication with Kevin is excellent. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it!

The properties are beautiful and in the perfect location. The inside was beautiful and offered a lot more than we expected, they had several towels and the kitchen was well equipped. We enjoyed the hot tub very much and honestly wish we had stayed longer. We are definitely looking forward to going back for more days of course.

I had a wonderful weekend at sky blue with my girlfriend!! The hot tub was perfect at night and even during the day. There was a nice hike with open land at the pastureland with a great view! The fire pit was perfect with more than enough of fire wood, I highly recommend!

My husband and I had a wonderful time for our 21st anniversary stay at Candee Mountain Retreat. The cabin was very clean, beautiful decor, an amazing view, and an awesome hot tub. Kevin was very attentive and responsive to anything we needed. We will definitely be back!

We had a great time here! The tiny house is so cozy and welcoming! The hot tub is such an added plus! Kevin, the host was so accommodating, nice and hospitable! We stayed over a couple nights to break up our drive from Georgia to PA. It was the perfect reset we needed. It even snowed and the trails and property were picturesque!

This was a relaxing getaway. We enjoyed our stay very much. Kevins’s directions and info were all very clear. The hot tub was such an added plus to the experience. Definitely recommend this to anyone. The site we stayed at was nice because it offered a little more privacy for our dogs to roam without having to worry about them bothering anyone else. The tiny home was well equipped with everything we needed and very cozy. Come equipped with your food and water as this is a really remote area and pretty much like you are camping.

We loved staying at Candee Mountain Retreat! The tiny cabin was beautiful and had all of the supplies we needed. We really enjoyed being able to cook over the fire pit and spending time in the hot tub. This was the perfect place to bring our pup--we loved being able to let him run off leash on the well maintained trail on the property. We got to meet the owner, Kevin, he was extremely nice and helpful. We will most certainly recommend this to our friends and will be back ourselves!

Camping at Candee Mountain Retreat was such a great experience. My wife and I spent our time hanging out around the camp site enjoying the outdoor and Kevin really provided a great experience for us. The camp has all the modern amenities that you will need while providing the peace and quiet of being away from the city. The camp fire was definitely the high light of our trip.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay this weekend. The unexpected snowfall on Thursday evening, made the hot tub even better! Communication with the host was great. Kevin offered recommendations for restaurants, and we have to say Mountain Holler Steak and Seafood is a must try if you are looking for a good steak or smoked ribs.

The green cabin is very cute with a great view. All the amenities were way better than what I could have imagined. Only thing is that the gravel driveway to get up to the cabin is steep.

I loved staying at Ocean Blue, it was a bit further from the other cabins and still had a great view. It was honestly such a cute tiny home. The trail was also nice and steep, and we saw tons of birds and deer.

Kevin’s land and lodges were honestly so amazing! It was surrounded by beautiful nature and it was easy to find! The lodge comes with literally everything you need! We didn’t even use half of the stuff we brought because they already provided it. Just bring food and clothes and you’re good to go! It was the perfect romantic weekend and I am so happy we found this place!

All I can say is AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING. Kevin and his wife were wonderful hosts and if you get a chance to have a conversation with Kevin, his life has been filled with some pretty crazy stories. He has seen a lot and done a lot and he beams when he talks about his kids. The views from the tiny house are spectacular and the hot tub plus bonfire combo you can’t miss out on. Very private and lots of trail to hike on. Highly recommend this place
